Spellbound: A Witchy Regency Romance

Rate this book
Desmond Crane is running away from home.

On the pretext of seeing to matters at a small family holding, he has come to Lancashire to escape London. Between a brother who is determined to gamble away the family fortunes and a sister who flirts more shamelessly than the most jaded of courtesans, he’s grown unbearably tired of cleaning up their messes. His scandal courting family are doing their utmost to worry him into an early grave. But like all of his plans of late, it goes terribly awry.

Belladonna Goodwynne is more than just scandalous… she’s rumored to be in league with the devil.

Or at least that’s what the villagers would have everyone believe. Living in a small cottage that abuts the Crane estate, she’s content to be left alone by the lot of them. So when a stranger shows up at her door, bleeding and insensible, she’s half tempted to ignore his need for aid. But she’s well aware that what one puts out into the world dictates what one gets back. And ignoring a man with a potentially fatal injury isn’t something she wants on her conscience.

Proximity breeds complications…

When Desmond awakens in the strangest cottage he has ever seen, being tended to by a woman unlike any other, he suddenly understands what it must be like for his siblings to be so obsessed with something they forget all propriety. Because from the moment his gaze lands upon Desi, he knows that he’ll make her his wife. Scandal be damned.

But when witch is whispered by the masses, trouble always follows...

please use spell check

The book is ok not great but so very many typos and wrong words that it’s distracting and frankly disrespectful of the reader.
