Not sure what I expected from this but it is pretty much filled with advice that we've all seen before. There were a couple of chapters that were interesting. The rest not so much.

Decent read

I'm giving this a solid 2.5 rating and rounding up on stars. It was a quick decent read but not much to pull out and apply to my own life/writing.

This book is obviously made by authors and mostly for authors or aspiring authors. That being said, it was a little underwhelming, and as a fiction author the majority of entries were for nonfiction writers.

That being said, my favorite part was getting some vulnerability and insight into other authors, it was humbling, grounding, and reassuring that I'm not alone. My struggles are common, there's some I've never encountered related to nonfiction, and some interesting points of view.

I would have liked more structure or takeaway items I could implement. But regardless, I still found value in reading this and would recommend it to other authors.
