Living in a human village as he is isolated, Vaeludar is a hybrid creature who acts quickly to defend it when necessary.
He soon realizes it's linked to an ancient threat in the dark. To fight a ghost, he needs three armor artifacts.
To fight the emerging threat, he must brave the perilous uncharted north and retrieve the first armor artifact. Can he face all perils that stand between him and the first armor artifact?
Mythical, Adventurous, slighty reminded me of Hércules (hehe)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pace of the story was just simply perfect. Not too fast or too slow.
Im not gonna lie the story wasnt easy to follow initially but after chapter 9 it becoming easier and by the end I wanted more.
Overall Review A boys journey to find his purpose but he has an issue. With half the look of a human and the rest of the build and strength of a dragon. Life isn't easy for Vaeludar but he knows in his heart that he might need all the help he can get. He does not have any training or fellow legandary creatures who can be of service to him. A dragon king comes to help with information. With unlikely friends and allies he learns and trains to be a warrior and being careful regarding being a target.
Vaeludar and Marina were just so sweet I mean they were the right kind of distraction from everything else which was going on. I mean this with all the respect I can muster the author had me going crazy there for a moment because of a chapter. (It was indeed a great loss of sanity)
Secondary characters, the secondary characters i liked them to a level that astonished me. Never has such a thing happend
That cliffhanger.... Oh my goodness, have i mentioned that I love Marina
Firstly I loved the setting of the book. An isolated village. And the main protagonist who is a quiet man. But there is a secret he's not really a man. He can be more Only if the situation allows him. I liked this creepy setting . It's not super heroic. But the author describes it in such a way that we believe in the story .
And as the story progresses we come to know about a threat. A very very old threat. To fight, our protagonist needs a shield. This story does not end here. This is first in the series.
If author polishes the language a Little bit this series could be the next big thing.
As a ADHD person, it was too hard for me to read this book to be honest. Bc It was based on real myths like greek, Christianity etc. And my mind jept going to the real myths end it made it way to hard to stay in the book and what the book offer to me. Other than that, it was written beautifully graphical to me. If you ask me if I read the other books of this series, yeah I would but it might make me go into reading slump. As I say how it was similar to realy myths and happenings, it made me kinda uncomfortable to I dont know why.
Living in a human village as he is isolated.... And it's story is wonderful ... It's full of adventure and creatures and the characters I really enjoyed it 🥺 .. I read the whole book in one way so without any disturbance.. Go to read guys....
