5 "I'm lovin' this" stars ⭐
A STEAMY, thrilling, fascinating Demon/Angel romance which I enjoyed so much with it's fun moments, awesome world building & lore, island survival, a second chance, witty banter yet soft moments, a cute artic fox, & sweet gestures! It's fast-paced, page turner.

I've been excited for this, Loved Lucifer + Michael, & the cameos 😉. Devoured it in 4hrs. My last book of Oct (I read a few pages on Halloween lol) & Nov starter! Like last book, we see it all from the Demon's pov. Gosh do I want Michael's pov too, but it worked so can't complain much.

In last book, Zach & Hellion set up an Embassy to work as a bridge between Heaven & Hell. The negotiations make Lucifer & Michael come face to face after millennia, since the war. It sparked feelings that never had died. What they had together before, can they ever happen again? It started grumpy/sunshine then changed, then they were more sassy/soft lol.

Anger, reconcile, chance, Message, God's last gift (that was a surprise!). Luci & Mich are stranded on an distant island. A bubble where they start by ignoring eachother to becoming so much more together😍! Avoidance, storm, skills (loved to see that!), Home, watery, sexy times 🥵, fun, camps, & a sweet white fox.

But of course, the choice has to be made, the bubble would burst. Chase, The fall, hurting back. Will they choose eachother, can they—overlord of Hell & the leader of Heaven—even be together? Or end up always hurting eachother?

This was the moment that I LOVED this was more novella size than longer, cause we didn't dwell on the angst for long (or at all for much) 🤭😉. Missing, discussions, surprise! Luci & Mich are super sweet together! I love how dom Luci is over M, they're so freaking sexy. The kinks are hot! M is a total praise, pain slut 🔥. And those grand gestures in their Love-War were so amusing & fun! Homely & new finds. I love these 2, their HEA was long time coming!

I'm so excited for the next one in this series, Abaddon's book! Every book, we grow this world Natalie has made with more history, it's so interesting to see. Gosh, I wanted more detail on their houses though lol. I dunno, I'm sure they've got interesting stuff, especially Lucifer's hell mansion 👀. I'm sad I didn't see an arc sign-up for this, but was worth it to get it!

This book picks up after the end of the last one were Heaven and Hell are negotiating with each other.

I liked Michael and Lucifer as a couple. I enjoyed how they slowly work together when they are stranded on an island and then become closer. We get to see more of the Hellion and Zach in this book and Raphael! What an interesting character, and I loved him.

The only thing I wish was more expanded on is well... God died. That's the whole reason why Michael and Lucifer was at the island because it was God's last gift. Michael was dealing with grief and there are some scenes were the angels and demons are working more as God was doing so much when he was alive, but it doesn't seem like a big deal that God is gone. Granted most of the freakout was off screen when they were on the island, so I get that.

What I was wondering about is, is there going to be a new leader of will it become a democracy. Would there be a power struggle? Would Metatron become the new leader? What happened to him as is job is 'the voice of God'? Do people on Earth know? I do love that Lucifer is happy that God died though, because of course he would love it lol.

This was a really great read and I loved the characters together. I knew Michael and Lucifer would be explosive and it was so good to see their chemistry and how they overcame their history. Having it from Lucifer's POV brought a lot of humour and I also liked how some of the other secondary characters were developed, especially Raphael. I'm glad they got the HEA that they deserve and I hope we get to see more glimpses of them together because they were seriously hot hot hot! I'd recommend this book to others who like MM romance and I'm off to buy book 3 immediately!

I loved everything about this book. Luci and Michael are perfect for each other, I am really glad things are working for them. I can’t wait to see what the next book is like. I received this book for my honest opinion and I loved it. I recommend this book to everyone, especially if you like mm love stories.

I didn't really like it, or at least as much as the first one.
The writing is less qualitative and it seems there's no real spark between the characters. Everything happens too fast so there's no real depth in the characters, if it wasn't for the cover we wouldn't even know what they look like
