A Love that Was Meant to Be -
Every encounter between Theo and Eliza growing up ended in a bickering session, but his protective instincts kicked in the moment she arrived on his doorstep in a wedding dress and distraught. However, Theo felt an inexplicable attraction towards Eliza that he failed to control and led to them sharing one explosive night together. Unfortunately, just before Theo and Eliza could deal with what happened between them, her brother arrived to take her away.

Nevertheless, fate had other plans in store for Theo and Eliza, as she soon learned her life was about to change, so she made a decision to live for herself. Luckily, Eliza’s brother brought Theo news that gave him the confidence to finally acknowledge his feelings and do everything possible to convince her to give them a chance at having a happy life together. I really enjoyed reading this amazing story, with lots of drama, emotional moments, steamy encounters and a lovely romance. I couldn’t stop reading once I started and will happily recommend this book.

I really liked the story 'My Billionaire Seal Protector' by Ava Nichols. When she was growing up Eliza had had a secret crush on her brother Justin's best friend Theo. They haven't seen each other in years. Theo had gone on to join the Seals and then had become a successful billionaire businessman when he had gotten out of the seals. He suddenly finds Eliza all grown up and standing in front of him wearing a wedding gown. She is running away from her own wedding to a man her parents were pushing her to marry but a man that she had no feelings for. Justin is out of the country and Theo was the only one she could think of that would keep her safe until her brother would return and protect her from her forceful parents. But when adult Eliza gets together with adult Theo, they begin to see each other in a different way than when they were kids. And they like what they see.

This is a very good short story. Their is enemies to lovers. Then lovers to loneliness then to lovers again. Eliza is forced into a marriage by het controlling parents and she runs away on the day of the wedding. Her brother is out of the country so she runs to her brother's best friend. He protects her from her controlling parents and finance. They share an intimate time and she ends up pregnant. They are separated from each other not knowing how the other feels.

After a few days together, they have sex and the story takes some turns.
I enjoyed this short book and recommend it.

My Billionaire Seal Protector is one of my favorite type of stories. This is a quick read but has all the feels you could want. Brothers best friend has many pitfalls in it but there are times when you just have to follow your heart. This author has the characters down pat and the story truly works. Well done.

I found this story unremarkable at best. Eliza is spineless and childish, and Theo is bland and aimless. The characters are okay, though. The plot is okay; it just leans so far into tropes that there are no surprises, which leaves this novella a bit bland.I like a good enemies-to - lovers tale; this, unfortunately, isn't.
