After the war, the Wizarding World faces the problem of underpopulation of new Wizards and Witches. The ministry of magic takes matters to their own hands and enforce a marriage law. Everyone under 40 is to be married withing a time periode and in a year has to produce a child. The positive thing about this law is that everyone gets to chose their own spouse through an application process. If however they don't agree to any proposal, they are paired with the first person who ended up petitioning for them.

Hermione thinks that she has nothing to worry about since she is already in an happy relationship. That is until one day she returns home earlier than expected and walks in on Ron having sex with another woman.
Now furious with Ron, she will do anything to prove to him that she doesn't want anything to do with him.
What's a better pay back than agreeing to marry his mortal enemy?

I'm pretty sure I've read this fic before, when I first started to read fanfiction. I'm also pretty sure that I liked it alot more the first time around.
Even tho I like the premise of the plot and how the characters were written, there was alot of inconsistency through out the story. Like Draco's curse, his feelings for Hermione, Hermione's stance towards him, Blaise knowing and not knowing of things, all of Cat's character, Harry and Pansy. the Weasleys and so on.

Another thing that didn't make any sense, was Draco's and Hermione's relationship.
Hermione don't mention any of the odd things Draco does, as if none of them happened.
He goes to full over protective-boyfriend mode from the beginning and Hermione reacts like that normal. Like this whole relationship isn't just a farce. Like Draco isn't behaving strange.
And since Draco was portrayed as this obsessed person, I would've liked if the story was alot darker.

Great writing, plot wasn't to my taste. Draco never apologized or redeemed himself for any of the deranged things he did. Hermione was OOC. I don't understand why everyone blamed Hermione for not taking Ron back despite it being clear as day.

That was bonkers, sometimes in a good way, but mostly in a bad way. Were we ok in 2009? The main male characters should all have been in jail for various forms of assault and it didn’t really feel like any thought was given to the original characters’ personalities. Bonkers.

It was fun to read, specially at the beginning with all the puns and comebacks. It was kind of predictable but entertaining nevertheless. I think the relationship between Hermione and Draco was a little bit sudden (as well as Blaise's) and Ron was a real prick this time... but it was ok, the length was appropriate and it was well written. Kudos to the author!
