We made a deal with the devil many years ago and sentenced ourselves to a life of hookups and casual sex.
It’s not safe for us to bring a woman into our lives, and until recently it was enough.
But then we met her.
Our Angel.
On the outside Leighton’s a good girl forced to live a life as a pawn in a game she didn’t choose to play.
But on the inside?
On the inside she’s the missing piece of our puzzle.
There’s a million reasons we shouldn’t want her.
We’re eighteen years her senior.
She’s the police commissioners daughter.
We work with the most infamous criminals in the city.
She’s too innocent for our proclivities.
But none of that matters, because the moment she stepped foot through the door of The Scarlet Lounge, she became ours.
When our worlds collide, can we keep her safe? Or will we lose her to the people who vowed to protect her?

Montana’s debut in the why choose trope and if you didn’t already know you’d never guess. Masterfully written, super engaging plot, and wonderful chemistry between the characters.
I was hooked from the very first chapter. From the very beginning Leighton pulled at my heartstrings. Her story is complex and heartbreaking. It just feels so real and relatable. Leighton has lived every minute of her life under strict directions, rules and criticism. That is until “devils” liberate the sweet angel and truly show her what it means to be worshiped. Wyatt and Elias truly show her a new side of the world and a new side of herself.
Could not recommend this story enough. An absolute must read for the why choose fans! An amazing start to what I hope will be a mesmerizing series!
Elias and Wyatt have been best friends for a very long time, have a love of the BDSM world and would like to share a submissive one day but have yet to meet the woman that brings out the commitment in them. Until Leighton.
Leighton shows up at their club and catches her fiance cheating. Elias and Wyatt protect her and give her a night she will never forget. They want to keep her but Leighton has never known anything but abuse - verbally and some phsyical - by the hands of her parents and her ex-fiance. When she finally realizes she wants Wyatt and Elias, these two will go to the ends of the earth to protect and care for her.
Sweet, sexy, kinky, suspenseful and action packed, Trust in the Fallen was a pretty decent read. I loved Wyatt and Elias and their dominant personalities. Leighton was a little too naive for me but I did like how she grew as a character. Overall, a pretty good MFM read with plot and heat.
Wow wow wow I loved this book it was dark. It was emotional, and with 2 mafia men and some intense spice, i just couldn't put it down. You wouldn’t know this was montana's first MFM book.
The storyline was well written, featuring a fmc with physical and emotional domestic abuse from her family and partner, until she bumps into 2 mafia men that show her what life should be like.
The characters wow they are all well developed with great personalities and backstories, and the dynamic and chemistry between Wyatt and Elias and Leighton is off the roof.
★2.75/5! a little cringe and some repetitiveness however still an okay book - took me five flipping days because im still in a slump but who’s counting. i feel like i probably would’ve enjoyed this a lot more if not for the slump so take the rating with a grain of salt.
who doesn’t want to be shared between two hot older men 😛 i’ll volunteer any day of the week
My first read from this author and Trust in the Fallen was so much more than expected. Instead of the usual why choose mafia romance, this book was a beautifully emotional dark read albeit one where the heroine didn’t have to choose unless it was between the two heroes and her current fiancé. The heroes Elias and Wyatt find their forever angel in Leighton, falling hard and fast for her when she follows her fiancé to their club where she catches him cheating. But of course, the road to true love is never easy and what should be a simple case of dumping him and moving on isn’t a possibility as Leighton comes with complications. She’s being forced into an arranged marriage by her parents and is the victim of escalating domestic violence from her fiancé.
Leighton’s story was so tragic. She’s been oppressed and criticised all her life by her parents who don’t care that she’s being abused just so long as her abuser doesn’t leave bruises where they can be seen. She doesn’t see any way out down to a secret they hold over her head to control her, but Wyatt and Elias show her that she could have more. They are both Doms and want a BDSM relationship with her but are so gentle and caring as they gently ease her into things, letting Leighton set the pace. The development of their relationship was beautiful to read. But not her family was willing to let Leighton go so easily leading to some action and drama from her father, but this allowed for the appearance of members of the Legion who alongside Elias and Wyatt fight to keep their city clear of traffickers and I’m hopeful that this book is only the beginning, and we’ll hear more from them in future books.
Montana's debut in the "why choose" romance genre, "Trust in the Fallen," is a breath of fresh air in a crowded field. With an incredibly intriguing plot and undeniable chemistry between the characters, this book stands out as a promising start to what is sure to be a successful series. Think Salacious Players Club but darker with extra spice. (You may need a glass of milk to cool down after this)
From the very first page, I was drawn into the story. The story introduces us to a strong and relatable protagonist, Leighton, who finds herself in an extraordinary situation and Montana masterfully weaves together an engaging plotline that keeps you guessing and turning the pages.
One of the standout aspects of this book is the chemistry between the characters. Leighton’s relationships with Wyatt and Elias are not only sizzling with passion but also nuanced and believable.
The emotional depth and tension created by Montana adds layers of complexity to the romance, making it much more than a mere why choose. Each character has their own distinct personality and backstory, and their interactions are both steamy and meaningful.
Her writing style is engaging, and her ability to craft captivating characters and a fresh plotline is evident. I eagerly look forward to the next book in the series.
In conclusion, "Trust in the Fallen" is a must-read for fans of why choose romance who are looking for something new and exciting. Montana’s debut into why choose promises a bright future in the genre, and I can't wait to see where her storytelling talents take her next.
Montana has brought us the Forbidden Pleasures series and it is SO good!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This first book features an age gap MFM romance and it is spicy!!!
‘For the girls who think they might need two morally grey men to keep up with them. Here’s all the confirmation you need’
Wyatt & Elias are best friends.
They live together, work together and share women together. They are both divorced and very content with their Batchelor lifestyle whilst owning a sex club where they can fulfil they fantasies.
One night, during a Halloween party at their club an Angel appears and her name is Leighton.
Leighton has just found out that her fiancé has been cheating on her at the club. Wyatt & Elias are completely fixated on Leighton from the moment they see her.
This begins their obsession and possessiveness of Leighton.
I loved the relationship between these three people, what starts out as a night together becomes SO much more. Watching them form the trust and love for each other was so beautiful!!!
I really loved that Leighton got the best of both worlds with these two men. She has Wyatt that likes the pleasure and Elias likes the pain.
‘We’ve both fallen madly in love with this woman, and there’s no way we could let her go now even if we wanted to. She’s ingrained in our very being, our hearts beat in time with hers, and at this point, losing her would be like cutting off a limb’
Wyatt, Elias and Leighton meet under a complete chance circumstance that throws them all for a loop. Wyatt and Elias believed they would live out their lives as bachelor's running their club and enjoying every minute of it while being part of an underground organization no-one would expect from the two former SEALS. Leighton is engaged and stuck in a life she didn’t ask for but has had to live with. All of their lives change by chance one night and they will never be the same again. Montana has thrown curve balls and twisted turns into this story making it impossible to put down. I can not wait to see what comes next from The Scarlet Lounge series. Personally I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future and maybe some more tidbits from the ending❤️❤️
What do you do when your entire life has been planned out for you, down to the smallest of details — and everything you do is criticized? When you know in your soul that you’ve been signed, sealed, and delivered to a life lacking love, adoration, commitment, and respect?
You put your trust in two dark, dreamy, and devastatingly handsome devils that treat you with respect from the first second. You allow them to care for you in ways that you never thought were possible. You soon find that not only did they care for you, but they dug into the depths of your soul to find your true self and help her to shine.
Oh, and they also give endless orgasms as they tag team you and worship every single inch of your body….repeatedly.
I was so wrapped up in this book, I couldn’t put it down!
MFM Dom/Sub Sex club Possessive MMCs Dark romance Age Gap Forbidden Romance
With lots and lots of spice then you need to pick this book up now.
Elias and Wyatt are best friends share everything even their women even owning a Adults club together. They are everything that possessive MMC should be, touch her and you die vibes 😍
Leighton our FMC is Controlled and oppressed by her parents, put down and used for their own gain. Even going so dar as to tell him how to get away with cheating on her and to not hit her face so she can still make public appearances with him , after all appearances are everything 😡- please be aware that there js domestic violence on page
As much as you find yourself loving the MMCs and FMC will hate the side characters just as much , but every book needs a villain and this book defiantly delivers.
There are defiantly ups and down in the book but I loved every minute of it and cannot believe this is Montanas first why chose book. Can we please have more soon 🤞
This is the first why choose from Montana but it doesn’t show. The relationship is beautiful, with the emotional depth needed to get through challenges not just a focus on spice. The FMC has a lot of difficulties with her family and definitely check the trigger warnings. The MMC are protective and caring in a way I wish people in real life could be. Here’s hoping there are more books in this world.
this book was so fun to read and flowly. I love the writing!! the action was also well thought out and kept my interest.
i don’t absolutely love the nickname angel and how they kept calling her “my women” but it’s minor.
there was an opportunity for the characters to be deeper, for example, why did leighton’s dad, the governor, and jason do the things they did? i understand that they are supposed to the “ antagonists” but there could’ve been depth.
adding more on the adults, they felt immature. the dialogue made them feel like angsty teenagers 😭😭 like this can’t be real

my first why choose in a while and I don’t know why I don’t read more! 😂 I wouldn’t qualify this as a mafia romance, but there are SO many other tropes in this book that I’m a fan of; touch her and you die, age gap, why choose… I did love the interaction between the main characters and I feel like the story was well written and easy to read. There was definitely a lot of spice, I think that it wasn’t *ALL* necessary, but I’m not one to complain about too much spice usually. Overall, it was a nice easy read! **DEF READ TRIGGER WARNINGS**
3.5 stars, maybe... So it really wasn't bad by any means. But the pacing was extremely fast to the point that the term 'insta' doesn't do it justice. Everything in this book, save the epilogue, happens within the span of a month. The fmc was a doormat and her growth was minimal. In the epilogue she suddenly manages a successful career. And unfortunately the mmc's weren't distinct enough in their personalities.
Okay so I’m a huge Montana fan and this book was freaking amazing! Not only does this book have tons of spice, but it’s unique and sexy! The writing is great and honestly I’m so in love with these characters.
Some of the tropes inside include- age gap, dark romance vibes, forbidden romance, possessive vibes, OBSESSIVE vibes, and some MFM!
I had to DNF. This was just too insta lovey for me. Not to mention the author often repeated the same thing over and over again, and it got kinda annoying.
Anyway, this book was actually really good and the spice was spicy enough but it lacked pizzazz and yes i got the thrill from reading it but… i dont know, it was very bland to be honest.
The girl went through so much and they kept saying how the were going to kill his ex, but it wasnt slow, it wasnt the way the said and it was frustrating to keep being told the same thing then only for it not to happen. I was disappointed to say the least but we look past when the characters were so sweet like wyatt and elias were. Wyatt and Elias have my heart in all ways but i wouldnt mind a sequel where Leighton saves them because they get kidnapped and there’s a whole thing on it… character building and all…
In all seriousness, i did like the book and credit to the author, i read the author comment at the end and it made me smile.
Can’t believe I’m saying this since I’m such a BDSM fan, but I feel like the book really didn’t need that.. like it woulda been better without the sex club thing as a whole. The whole few chapters where they take her there and use a room for the first time just felt so out of place and because of that, a lot of it just felt clunky to me. I liked the story of the abuse and the deal they made without her say so and stuff but there was just too much about sex that ruined it for me tbh lol.
This is the first book I have read from this author and it was such a good read.
The FMC Leighton corners her fiancée cheating on her in a sex club, she’s always been the good girl doing as she was told but there’s only so much even she can cope with. While arguing the club owners come in to help her when her fiancée gets a little handsy.
The MMC’s Elias and Wyatt have been sharing women and submissive’s for years but they both feel like something or someone is missing. She when they go to break up a domestic and find their angel they know she is exactly who they need, they just need to convince this good girl that sharing and submission are as good in practise as they look in the club.
Her ex fiancé and parents are not willing for her to back out of the marriage, regardless of how physically and emotionally her fiancée treats her.
I really enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the strength of the characters and that the MMC’s were open to feelings as well as spice, which I would have expected as dominants but is not always written as such. The only reason this wasn’t a 5⭐️ was that there were a couple of sentences, phrases, descriptions that were repeated multiple times as filler/background descriptions. Not enough to ruin the book just enough it was noticeable here and there when reading.
IT WAS OK. IT WAS VERY FAST PACED ALMOST CRINGEY IT WAS SO FAST PACED. BUT SYILL IVE BEEN TEADING SOME PRETTY DARK BOOKS LATELY SO THIS WAS A WELCOME CHANGE. THE SPICE LEVEL WAS PHENOMINAL
This is my first MFM book with this writer and it was mind-blowing. It was intense and emotional.
Wyatt and Elias are two Ex-Navy SEALS who after a bad breakup from their wives became friends and decided to stick together. They run a smex club and also are members of a group called Legion. They decided to stay single until it felt like something was missing. They had a chance encounter with a lady, could she be the missing piece?
Leighton is the police commissioner's daughter and has had her entire life planned out for her by her parents to be married to the senator's son. She engaged to Jason, the senator's son and followed him to a smex club where she caught him cheating. She breaks up with him and bumps into two men who show her what life should be like.

Favourite Quote/Scene 🦋I can’t put my finger on it, but from the moment I lay eyes on her, I know she’s the missing piece of our puzzle.
Our angel.
🦋Men like us have no right coveting someone as sweet as Leighton, have no right putting our dirty hands all over her soft skin, but I don’t think even the devil himself could keep us away from her.
🦋“I think I loved you the moment I first laid eyes on you, angel. So fierce and yet so vulnerable. I knew then that you were our missing piece, and that you would complete us just like you have.”
He carefully turns my face, and Elias’s hand replaces his. “You’re everything, Leighton. You’re the air I breathe and the reason my heart beats. You brought light into our lives when all we’ve seen is darkness for so long, and for that, I’ll love you with every single beat my heart has left because you’re everything to me.”
🦋“There’s no version of my life where I thought I would deserve a woman like you, but then you walked into our lives, and I knew there was nothing we wouldn’t do to keep you. You brought a light to our darkness, and every second we’ve spent with you has been more than I ever thought I would have. I love you with all of me, my angel.”
🦋“Before I met you, I thought I was happy. I thought I was okay with living the bachelor life with my best friend. I thought I’d loved before and decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. But as soon as I saw you, it was all over for me. You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met, both inside and out. Your heart is so big, big enough for the two of us.” He chuckles and takes my hand. “And we want nothing more than to spend the rest of our lives with you. We want to give you the life you deserve, full of love and joy. We want to be the ones to put that beautiful smile on your face every single day for the rest of forever.”
This was more than a why choose dark romance. This was a story of a woman who was made to feel worthless. When she finally met the men who made her feel like the world it wouldn’t be easy to walk away. Elias and Wyatt enjoy dabbling in the BDSM side of romance and over the years it seems to have taken a toll. Could they be ready to settle down again, have one woman? Share one woman? Not entirely sure it all changes when their beautiful Angel ends up in their club and ignites a fire inside them that they assumed was dead.
Leightons life has been set since she was 15. One mistake and it was all planned for her. Who she would marry, how she wouldn’t work, would do exactly what her husband told her with a smile on her face. These things are hard to do when behind the closed door it is anything but happy. She is abused mentally, emotionally and physically, by the people in her life that she should trust. That couldn’t be farther than the truth.
Elias & Wyatt are determined to show her what she is missing and prove to her she deserves to be cherish, desired and loved. They will go to the ends of the earth to keep her safe and have her leave her life of pain and misery. To spend the rest of her life between the two men who have fallen deeply in love with her only after one incredible night.
This story has some very heavy DV content but was written with great caution. The spice is this book was top tier and these men literally worship everything about her. I loved seeing Leighton come into her own and finally see her worth
There were a few hold your breath moments where I couldn’t read fast enough to see what happens.
Am I complaining? No, not at all I was just expecting a little bit more plot.
This was a super easy, quick going MFM romance with low angst and enough plot to keep me entertained.
To say this was insta love would be an understatement; this was a rush, crash implode kinda romance and even though I’m not against it, for me, the lack of meaningful grounds to a relationship makes it unrealistic.
Yes, there was chemistry, the smut was good and there was a connection and attraction between the characters but there wasn’t any getting to know one and other or real development in the relationship other than the trust to have BDSM sex.
Leighton was ok as the FMC, she was the sub they needed and although I normally prefer the fmc to be a little more sassy and independent, naive Leighton did ok.
I love an overprotective MMC but once again form me the relationships felt purely based on attraction and sex so although I was a fan of the protectiveness from Elias and Wyatt it wasn’t the BAM I was looking for.
Simplifying it, the plot, albeit a little absent, was based on her abusive family and fiancé and her believe that she would live a miserable life and there wasn’t an out.
Honestly once I started writing my review and analyzing the book I found a little too much to complain or inconsistencies and even though I could reduce the rating I actually did enjoy and was entertained with this book while I was reading it, and honestly the spice was *chef kiss.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Leighton is a girl on a mission to find out if her fiance is cheating. My heart broke for her so many times and I'm really glad she caught the scumbag. But that's not the only thing about Leighton. She has never had an easy life. She was so badly verbally abused by her parents and her now ex. I can't even imagine what life is like for that but she is about to have no choice but to go back to her verbally abusive parents. But the worst part is her father is a police officer and her ex is the son of the mayor. When she is at the club though she meets Eilas and Wyatt. These two are well connected in the underground of the city but they are also best friends. They too love to dominate a sub together. However, lately they are looking for something more than what they have had in the past. When they meet Leighton they know there is something special about her and they all have the night of their lives because that is what she wants before she has to return to her own personal nightmare. However the guys just can't forget her or let this stand. Will they be her knights in shining armor? You have to read to find that out. This book will hook you from the very first page and you will not be able to lay it down. It is an emotional roller coaster of a ride at times and then the next minute you feel like your kindle is going to melt in your hands. You do not want to miss this book.
''We made a deal with the devil many years ago. It's not save for us to bring a woman into our lives, and until recently it was enough. But then we met her... Out angel.''
Tropes: age gap forbidden romance why choose possessive MMC's Dom/Sub
When I saw a tiktok about this book I immediately knew I wanted to read this book. The tropes, the story, the writing and the charachters are so good it all just works perfectly together.
Leighton is a sweet woman who is mistreated by everyone in her life, she is set to marry someone she does not love and treats her horribly. When she goes to a club and finds out he has been cheating on her to she meets the two club owners, and from there on their story starts.
Elias and Wyatt are two possessive and caring men, they both have ex wives and have been single for a while and know something is missing in their lives, the night they see Leighton for the first time they come to know exactly what that is.
Their relationship and story is just everything, I loved everything about it. Elias and Wyatt are just two off the most caring people and just want some love in their life.
If you love a good dark why choose romance than you should definitely give this book a change!
This may have been one of Montana Fyre’s first Why Choose trope novels, but she wrote it so masterfully I don’t think you’d ever realize it picking it up.
This extremely emotionally charged storyline will have you crying, then cheering, and then in absolute shock by some of the goings on in the novel. The stuff that Leighton had to deal with hit me deep in the feelings because it was simply just that relatable — some of the things she had to endure had happened to me. The steam pays off to the max and Fyre makes sure you know for a fact that they were head over heels for her.
Leighton has lived a life where everything has been meticulously decided for her and criticized to the max. Two handsome devils, or angels in disguise, take her under their wings and truly worship her. To care for. To cater to her every whim. To love you for even your deepest, darkest beliefs about yourself.
Wyatt and Elias own an adults only club — after seeing her there it was insta love. The need to protect her and give her everything she needs and wants is strong after finding some mishaps and going ons behind the scenes with her family. Corruption abroad, it’s going to be a bumpy road.
