Once again, we meet Grandma Emily, who now that she is retired and a widow is trying to do a blog, but instead of a food blog, she wants to try something different after the murder at The Silver Swan so she decides to try and craft blog this time. While at the craft store buying supplies, she meets a lady named Karen who makes and sells her own crafts. Taking a dislike to Karen, she decides to check out the craft fair coming up to help the pet shelter. Unbeknown to the owner of the craft fairs, Karen is selling spaces at higher prices and pocketing the money and putting people trying to sell their crafts in spots where they don't get as many of the customers. Many are upset with Karen, but who could be the one who killed Karen? Follow along with Emily as she tries to figure out the clues to solve the case. Enjoy!

This was a fun read. The main character is a retired widow who has grownup children, and grandchildren. The children treat her like she is a delicate flower and not very smart and she chafes a bit under the treatment, although she knows they love her. This is the second death she has stumbled across, and her youngest daughter was with her, this time. She helps the police find the killer, by her paying attention while most people ignore her. I definitely recommend this book.

An easy reading murder mystery

This is an easy reading murder mystery with minimal violence. Emily is getting interested in crafting for her blog and her granddaughters enthusiasm for the idea helps. She goes to a craft fair to get ideas and better understand the opportunities. From there the intrigue kicks in with lots of twists and turns with a surprise ending. A fun read.
