When reporter Guinivere Jones is sent to cover a major art retrospective at the Baker Museum in Naples, Florida, she never suspected she’d be the star of the show—or would wind up investigating another murder. Soon, however, she finds herself painted into a corner. All of the evidence points to one person as the likely killer. But those who know him best swear he didn’t do it.
Can Guin scrape away the varnish and uncover the truth?
Book 10 in the Sanibel Island Mystery series, Framed in Naples features a palette full of colorful characters, intrigue, and romance that is sure to delight and entertain readers.
Jennifer Lonoff Schiff is the author of the popular Sanibel Island Mystery series and the stand-alone novels Tinder Fella, a delightful rom-com set in NYC, and Something's Cooking in Chianti, a culinary mystery set in Italy.
Prior to her career as an author, Jennifer worked as a fact-checker, researcher, writer, and/or editor for a variety of magazines and book publishers. She eventually left the publishing world to found a boutique marketing communications agency that helped companies tell their story, for which she won several awards.
When not busy working on her next novel, Jennifer can be found playing with her two cats, taking long walks on the beach, or with her nose in someone else's book.
Loved it! I love this series. Light, fresh, fun, great characters. This one kept me guessing to the very end. Jennifer always makes me feel like I am on the beach with her on her morning walks! Keep writing and I’ll keep reading!
I am so glad that Jennifer L. Schiff found post Ian creativity to give us this book. Framed in Naples feels like an ending to the Sanibel Island Mystery series…but an ending that is satisfying and brings all the threads of Guin’s life together, with a new beginning for Guin.
In the larger picture, it has been a hard year for anyone who loves Sanibel. Jennifer’s series will serve as a wonderful testament to places that are no longer here because of the hurricane. For the places that are slowly coming back, we can be nostalgic for them through the books until they return.
Framed in Naples can be read alone…but why? Lose yourself in the whole series:).
I had a little trouble getting into this book considering I have read all the other Sanibel Island Mysteries but I still Enjoyed reading about Sanibel Island and reporter Guin Jones. Guin Jones was sent to cover a major art at the Baker Museum in Naples Florida. She never suspected she would be the star of the show or would wind up investigating another murder. Soon however she finds herself painted into a corner . All the evidence points to one person as the likely killer. But those who know him best swear he didn't do it. Can Guin scrape away the varnish and uncover the truth????
I love the Sanibel Island Mysteries series. This one is the tenth book in the series. Ms. Schiff does a wonderful job writing about the island of Sanibel and the nearby cities. Read along as Guin works to find out who really killed the art critic.
I really enjoyed this book- Sanibel is my favorite place in the world, which is what brought me to this series. This one seemed to have lots of little twists and turns in it, and is a quick, easy-read. Really liked the happy ending for Guin!
