This book is just great. The storyline is engaging and gripping and hooks the reader from the first page. Once I started reading I did not want to stop.
The characters are real managing to be both endearing and infuriating in equal measure at times in the book. They are also loyal, sweet and caring. It is a pleasure to go on their journey with them as the book progresses.
I like the way this author writes and it is always enjoyable escapism reading one of her books. I am not one for spoilers all I can say is it’s a fantastic read and I recommend everyone give it a try.
I was lucky enough to read an ARC edition of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.

It's a rocky second chance for Connor and Lacy, with unexpected twists and turns in an interesting plot. Throw in some intrigue and secrets for good measure and you have a book that will keep you reading late into the night! I received an ARC, this being my honest review.

A beautifully written book that will endear all the characters especially Lucy. Life hasn’t been easy but she’s managed. Unfortunately she meets the one person from her past that she thought she’d never see again. Don’t miss out.

The story of Conor and Lacy is beautifully written. If you like people trying to find their way in this world, amidst pain, betrayal and angst, with a some never-ending love thrown in and a lot of beautiful horses, you will thoroughly enjoy this.

This is my first book by the author and I enjoyed it a lot. Secret baby books are my favorite.

Four years ago Connor and Lacy's lives were flipped upside down. Due to accusations and hurt pride, she was forced to start over with her career and kept a huge secret from him. He refused to question what he was told and didn't ask questions. He's now gained custody of his niece and is trying to help her recover from the upheaval, not knowing she has been keeping a secret that she fears would cause more problems if she told. When Lacy and Connor run into each other the truth and secrets begin to come out. Will they be able to recover? Can they learn to trust each other again? Is it possible to get back what they've lost and become a family? This book will have you feeling multiple emotions. Ms Turner addresses several hard life experiences and the difficulties of overcoming the trauma left behind. Love and communication are key to a HEA.
