More tales of the busy McGannon clan. There are several romantic plot lines to follow in this latest book in the series. Max is both the head of the family and the local police chief. After the earlier pain of his wife's death, can he find new love? There's only one problem. His new romantic interest, Marlene, has a murderous ex-husband who isn't willing to let her go.

Not only that, but his children have significant challenges of their own. These include son Dom integrating his new wife with her young son - can Dom cope with instant fatherhood? Meanwhile Charlene (Char) sets out to save her father from what she sees as a gold digger out to take advantage of him. Meanwhile, her sisters, Erin and Shea, each just make potentially life changing decisions. So there's lots going on!

I liked the way Adeff balanced the various story threads and nicely brought the reader to a conclusion in time for a big Christmas Eve get together. Does it all work out? You'll have to pick up this easy to read, sweet romance novel to find the answer. I thought it was an enjoyable read, just in time for the Holidays.

She was married to an evil man named Ben. Will Ben find her and what will he do if he does? How will Max’s huge family feel about him falling in love with someone other than their deceased mother? Great sentimental story

I chose 5 stars because there was a lot going on in the story. It was romantic and had some exciting elements toward the end. Anyone who enjoys a romantic story involving family and friends would like this I hope.

Excellent

Excellent series. I couldn't get enough of this family. I started the next one in the series as quick as I finished one.
