Driving each other crazy seemed like Willa and John Little's mission. Stubborn, proud, and determined, everything was difficult between them despite the great attraction they felt for each other. Her constant bickering was amusing, Willa would not remain silent and faithful to her mother's teachings, her ideas of what should be done excluded men. John Little was one step down in the eyes this fierce woman that he couldn't get out of his mind, but what fate had planned for them had to happen. I liked the fact that Willa was a key figure despite her being the human among all the shifters and that the predicament she was caught in taught her an important lesson. Girl, most of the time things are not as we want them to be. And then, magic and off with a problem! That was a good riddance, and the origin of the rich treasure was becoming more and more mysterious. I'm intrigued by Robynna and the undercover sheriff, better say ‘acting sheriff’s' relationship. The merrymen, especially the not-so-bright Robert, entertain me a lot with their funny comments that make me chuckle. The story of John Little develops in an interesting way, easy to read, action, some suspense, a lot of stubbornness, fun scenes, romance, and passion.
