Rate this book
Deep within the snowcapped mountains, a farm resides, where the mystical and the extraordinary intertwine. Here, enchantments and magic converge to forge extraordinary weapons and artifacts, safeguarding Valoria against threats both abroad and within.

Lork Witch-Star, a master mage, alchemist, and enchanter, has dedicated years of service to the prestigious Opal Society, securing himself a comfortable life. However, he's acutely aware that even his talents won't protect him from the passage of time.

Zophia, a fallen angel from the revered city of Rose Haven, is abruptly cast out of her celestial duty after having a moment of self-realization. Seeking a new purpose and destiny, she arrives at the Witch-Star farm.

As Zophia and Lork's fates intertwine, they embark on a transformative adventure, one that will test their minds, bodies, and souls, while imparting new wisdom. Can they reach a mutual understanding before their destinies lead them toward uncharted horizons?

*Witch-Star takes place in the same world as Blackwood Milk Farm. This adventure is for adults, 18 and up.

So, I'd say this was the worst choice to go into this series reading. I'm sure the rest of the series is good (and I already owned the rest of the books in this one that are out so far on Kindle, so I do plan to read more of it). This spinoff book had very little substance to it though. It had a lot of sex in it, but I don't read books for the sex. I read them more for the characters and a plot, which this book had no plot. And the characters aren't as good as in My Girlfriends Are Pirate Elves (a great series by the same author. Highly recommend!)

If there are some things I'd say are positives, I'd say one is it's a book by Eden Redd. I am a fan of Eden Redd lol. And the cover is pretty sexy, and also the artwork inside it is nice too. I also like some of the stuff mentioned happens involving milk (it helps create potions and weapons in this world). Sadly, that stuff doesn't happen in this book. I'm sure it does in the rest of the Blackwood Milk Farm series, seeing as this one was only a spinoff book that was less than 100 pages.

I do recommend going into this if you're a fan of the sex scenes Eden Redd writes, or even just to support the author. I can't say I see myself reading this one again though, but you never know

And to clarify, I read this one first because it was short enough to read in just a couple hours (though I did take over a day due to not reading it the entire time since I started lol)

Writing is decent, so this gets a 4 graded on the curve for the sort of book I know it is, otherwise it'd be a 3. I didn't look at the (short) page count when I downloaded it, just a side story in an existing series.

No much story here, which is why I can't give it even an adjusted 5 for my reading experience. Might be some (small) tie-in with the main series, but there really isn't anything here other than sex stuff and a hint at the wider farm network.

An excellent addition to the Blackwood story arc

It will be very interesting to see how the author blends the different milk farms in the course of future stories. The characters in this story are very intriguing and have a great deal to offer in future story paths!

Outstanding

Really great start to a new branch of the valoris tree. I like it a lot and can't wait for more.

This has been in the tbr for a while. Was more of a book trophy than something worth reading. Those beautiful mounds and I love a dark fairy.
This book it's more porn than plot. Wouldn't recommend if you're vegan or dairy free.
