Blood, conquest, and glory at his side becomes respect and admiration—and longing
The Marjar attack on Mycea sets in motion a series of changes in the ruling structure of the empire that will forever impact the lives of three powerful men. King Meshia, supreme ruler of the empire, Sebastian of Cardin, Commander of the Third Empirical battalion, and Sebastian's Cardinian lover, Leo, a gifted healer beyond any that have come before him.
King Meshia has a secret, one that might lose him his crown. One that would certainly diminish his capacity to rule and lead the empire's forces into battle. One night of unbridled passion, one weakness, one longing that could bring the monarchy to its knees.
Sebastian of Cardin, Commander of the Third Empirical Battalion knows that love comes in many forms. He lives it, he breathes it. He is unapologetic. The military and his home in the Entertainment District in the Neter Colony on Mycea suit every aspect of his life.
Leo of Cardin, a conjuring Cardinian, an anomaly of nature. Skilled in his craft. A force to be reckoned with in his own right. His relationship with Sebastian does not define every aspect of his life. He too has a secret, his family heritage placing him in a position of incredible power.
Their world in turmoil, they will be called upon to embrace the love in their lives and abandon their long-held prejudices against one another in order to preserve the survival of their people.
Age of Cardin (Book 2)
Three powerful men find themselves connected by an inexplicable, unprecedented bond
The empire's military has moved to Cardin, a desolate planet of endless undulations of blistering, shifting sand. The palace stands alone amongst a sea of battle-ready fleet ships. The Cardinian slave trade still flourishing under the previous rule. Prince Leozeuramun, now the ruler of Cardin, is anxious to bring an end to the slave trade and return some dignity to his people, with his husband, Sebastian, King of Mycea and High Commander of the Empirical Forces by his side.
Soon, discussions turn to ideas, and ideas lead to decisions, and the concept of reinstating the once-powerful and technologically advanced Cardinian Empire is borne.
Much to Leo's disappointment, this means Meshia will need to join them on Cardin.
As enemies sharing the palace, Meshia and Leo must set aside their differences to bring forth the rise of the Cardinian Empire and together, as three powerful men, learn to wield the unprecedented triad bond that has connected them all.
The future of the empire depends on it.
Age of Tunisca (Book 3)
Love unexpected and far-reaching expectations spark potential chaos
The love between the three men, Sebastian, Leo, and Meshia is challenged by Prince Seth's actions as he matures. Threatening to tear them apart forever. The Cardinian triad bond, the circle, remains intact but in jeopardy. Secrets are weakening the bond between them, and choices need to be made that will bring much pain to Meshia.
The future of the Cardinian Empire will soon be in the hands of the next generation. Prince Seth is being prepared to rule; to be the first true Emperor in two hundred fifty years. But will his forever and always love interest impede his ability to take his people into the next phase of his reign? Will the Cardinian Empire survive where Emperor Seth wants to take them?
Will the Cardinian Empire's mantra of love and truth prevail?
A captivating masterpiece of story telling that captures a wide range of genres. The three books build a picture of love between three men that is so strong that they are willing to stand up against what is accepted in the kingdom and society they live and rule over.
It all beungs with Meshia the king, thinking they will due in battle the next day, acting on his strong attraction with Sebastian, the cardian commander of his 3rd battalion. what starts in that tent sets a future and foretelling in play that both men did not expect.
the book us full of battles against invaders, unknown enemies and what's more internal struggles with each of the three men. Leo the third of the triad has been madly in love with Sebastian for years, but us also the heir to an ancient empire. Leo and Meshia hate each other! at first. bit the fates have a plan.
books one and two concentrate on the triad, book three introduces Seth and Garum. Seth, son of the three emperors falls for Garum and the book shifts to their relationship on a whole.
what is challenging about this book is the struggles within the individuals the relationships. the jealousy, the Passion, the self destruction that can often shaje even the strongest of bonds comes to the fore alot. and don't forget the live making, passion, at time disturbing, but string and binding
it is a book where you in one chapter can be madly, hopelessly, passionately be in love with one or all if the characters and then in the next hate them. the emotion swings are like a rollercoaster.
the boos stands decades and at times there are decades of hurt between them and then decades of love. Seth and Garum love is refreshing and strong.
the scheming and danger the main characters face are from both known enemies and those on the sane side who can not accept their love, lheir life style. let's not forget their live of dressing up, makeup, jewelery and performing, not what people expect from fearsome monarchs.
this trilogy has do much to give you, but you as a reader will need resilience. put it down when needed, binge when able. it is well worth the read and I personalty feel that the author JT Fader is a master storyteller. I could go on and on, but best fund out fir yourself. thank JT
This is a really great Sci-Fi/Urban read. Story starts out slow...after a few chapters it really picks up...I realize towards end of book 1 and into book 2 and book 3 that was the building foundation to the whole book. The triad love between Meshia, Sebastian and Leo was so much emotional struggles, heartbreaking, but also so much love. The author I felt did portray the struggles of ruling a colony, an Empire and also what entails loving more than one person in a relationship their jealousy, and emotional journey. I did enjoy the battles both on the field and in their personal lives...there were so much going in I found myself truly immersed in this story till the end!! I will be reading this again in the future!! Highly recommend this trilogy of books!!
I received this as an ARC for free and leaving my honest review.
A fabulous saga. Each book finishes nicely with an HFN or HEA, but my heartstrings took a battering along the way, as I became heavily invested in the MCs and the convoluted path of their relationships. Sebastian, Meshia and Leo are all very intense characters, but in different ways, and the relationships that develop between them are all substantially different and not always balanced. The story starts around the time when King Meshia and Sebastian, Commander of the Third Battalion, expect to be killed in battle and concludes with the Cardinian Empire having been re-established, and the next generation of Emperor installed. Over that time, the reader learns to love these difficult men and their unusual situations and very likely has their heart torn apart as they journey with them. Sebastian and Meshia are both stubborn and have big egos, and Sebastian has no boundaries around sex, all things which cause a lot of complications. Eventually the series concludes with an HEA that was really hard-won. I loved this series, though at times I wanted to cry for Sebastian, sometimes for Meshia, other times for Leo, and also for Seth. Highly recommended and kept my interest from start to finish.
I received a copy of The Circle Trilogy for free and this is my honest and voluntary opinion.
A series of three stories following Meshia, King of Mycea and Sebastian, his commanding army officer. The story follows these two men through a series of events that also bring in the third party of their throuple - Prince Leo. The story is enchanting and so full of action and adventure I found it very hard to put down.
I really enjoyed this trilogy and look forward to reading more from this author under her new pen name, J.T. Fader. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
