We needed a planet and we needed one soon.

Imagine living in a world where there are intelligent machines which knows when we lie; senses if we are angry; predict change in spending habits, heart rate, bp and for a sizeable fee you can listen to almost everything that has been spoken about you behind your back in presence of the Machine.

Its 3018
Damon Machinsky discovered an Earth- like planet. His statement 'safe as your Mother's house' shook billions of sleepy mornings. The next step was to get people there - People in millions. But is it really possible to get so many people to agree for interplanetary travel. And the biggest question was, was there really a planet??

When i started the book at first i thought its a sci-fi but its more than that. Its a mix of science, human studies, satire sorts of. This book highlights about the first human migration through space. And how the mission was made possible. The author also highlights the follies in human nature by using sarcasm and wit. It was all very thought provoking. Although the book is short, its time consuming and needs an active mind to understand. Something different that i have read in a long time. It will make you think upon the future.

The book also has lot many quotes which are worth checking out. I have shared the same in the slides.

I liked reading this but i don't think it is apt for beginners. This book will appeal more to those who love reading and watching science fiction.

Signs of Life by Daksh Tyagi is an intriguing combination of science fiction and social critique. The story follows the protagonist as they embark on a mission to transport humans to the planet Nomad. The book delves into the intricacies of the journey and explores the reasons behind the relocation.
The author skillfully weaves humor and suspense throughout the storyline, offering a unique perspective on societal decay. The parallel narratives of the space mission and the portrayal of human society are particularly noteworthy, providing a thought-provoking and immersive reading experience.
To fully grasp the depth of the narrative, one must immerse themselves in the pages of this compelling work.

This was the first book from Daksh Tyagi that I read and I instantly loved his writing style.

The book may seem like a sci-fi and it's that but much more as well. The story revolves around the protagonist who is involved in sending humans to other planets. But what makes this book special is that it mocks the humans and the wrong things they do.

This was also a very short read with a little more than a hundred pages. It was an interesting book written in a compelling way.

Signs of life take you to the future of lives if Tellies who have been living 3002. It was a blend of science fiction along with how Damon and Shaku want to save humans from the earth. It was a different kind of read.

The story of Tellies, where Aliens surpass the future ahead. When scientists found that a place to live exactly like Earth called Nomad Earth. Damon and Shaku are planning to send millions of people to take them to planet Nomad. But there is not any planet called Nomad.

When Damon left to Mars, he made people believe that he couldn’t achieve things. Yet he failed to do so. People called him coward and liar. It was such an enigmatic read for me. It made me come out of my reading slump. It was a refreshing read. Definitely, you should try this one. It was a short read under 150 pages. Author has wonderfully took us to the future with his witty sense.
