The story picks up where Mia Jones has discovered that another girl, Althea has the same annoying issue of the girls talking below. Between a broken heart from her stupid neighbor Teddy, to the drama and wild nights that Honey and now, introducing Nikko go on, follow these two talking voices hidden in between, and beneath the sheets as they take on Atlanta and the drama they get themselves into. All of this leading up to one hell of a romance novel filled with humor, frustration, and smiles.
”Of course...vaginas also snore...my pussy snores...right... why didn't I think of that?"
Again, Desiree is so unserious for writing this book, but I love her for it. I’ve slowly been making my way through her catalog, and I can say that one of the things that I’ve enjoyed about her pen is the versatility.
In this story we basically pick back up with Mia Jones and Honey Love, but now we have some new characters that are introduced that get to go on adventures with them.
I enjoyed Althea and Nikko so much, especially Nikko with his crazy ass.
Now .. the one thing that annoyed me about this book was how avoidant Teddy was when it came to my girl Mia Jones. I understood that his family was of money, but at what point do we not listen to our families and their opinions when it comes to our lives?
As always the banter in this book was A1! Nikko really said to Thee Thee’s ass “Shit smells like daddy issues and regret! I cannot chile! You're on your own!" 😂😂😫
Crazy how Honey and Nikko were ALWAYS right when it came to certain things. I guess your coochie really does know best? 🤭🤣
Desiree will be at Love in Books this year and I desperately need my hands on this series because it was soo good.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and I laughed until I could not breathe and tears were coming out of my eyes. With that being said though, I wasn’t really feeling this book.
I think Nikko was a lot and I didn’t like Althea’s attitude. But that wasn’t even the reason for my DNF. It was the fact I knew Mia and Teddy were gonna get together and I just don’t think it for one makes sense and two, he didn’t deserve her. I immediately realized this was the same Teddy from Elodie story and that wasn’t even the thing that deterred me from their relationship. Every time I felt like he had a redeeming quality he insulted the hell out of her and did something that was overly petty and aggressive in a way.
They started as neighbors who didn’t like each other. They barely spoke to each other outside of passing in the halls and him teasing her. As soon as they had sex all of a sudden it’s, “he’s your soulmate so you gotta put up with his shit eventually”. I ain’t like that. It felt like Teddy had free range to play on her emotions with little to no consequences. Granted I haven’t finished the story but it’s been a pattern so far, and I’d hate to see it continue until he finally gets his shit together.
Another reader pointed out how the author likes to build toxic relationships or make the women go through so many hardships before they get their happy endings. I can definitely agree with that. But I also like the way they play out in the other two series that I’ve read from her. In those books, it feels like the final love interest actually works towards making up for the mistakes and it’s usually not as dire considering the circumstances. Like Shaheem, fucked up and it was fuck him but he made up for it and I actually felt like he meant it, the same thing with Percy. With Teddy now? I just think he’s extremely spoiled w/ a shitty personality.
Wow, that was a lot. But yeaaa…I’m stopped my reading here, I don’t like Teddy or Monty. Monty was at least funny at times tho. I’ll most definitely check out the rest of this author's stories cause she funny as hell and knows how to write an engaging story.

OMT where do I start Desiree is off the hook. She? She has a wonderful mind, Lynn and she had me dying. I laughed the whole time. I was reading both books. I was looking forward to this one I read it both times In the kingdovalia, as well as on the candle unlimited. Oh my gosh, what in the world? How did you come up with this girl? I loved it, and for those of you who are just meeting her or reading her books, you miss out. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of story telling you do it so well.
This is another one for the books. Hilarious and Mia is my fav. Nikko is a messyyyy one that lives for drama and I can’t with them being able to do control things. I love the round about way that Teddy came back and grew into a better person. His apologizing was tired cause we allll know the best apology is changed behaviors. I feel bad for Althea. Idk what really up with Jared but dammit I was ROOTING for you. We all were. 10/10. love this
The story picks up when Mia Jones discovers, that Althea has the same problem as her.
Once again, another Wild ride with Honey except we have someone else on the ride as well, Nikko. You know that one friend group where you can't leave they ass alone because they are bound to get into some shit, yep that's Honey and Nikko.
I loved everything about this book except Teddy tiresome self, Mia deserved better.
Once again, Desiree brought us an out of the box story that was well written and full of laughs. Althea’s talking body part was a man (Nikko) and he had her really doing things that was definitely not expected. The conversations between Honey and Nikko were absolutely hilarious.
Desiree, I so enjoyed this read. I thought Honey was off the chain she and Nikko were a match. They really are a piece of work. Thank you for this fun read. I was so glad to see Mia finally have a life. I love your pen. Thank you for giving This group some peace and happiness. I can't wait for an update on these fools.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I’m convinced that Desiree is a comedian!!! This book has all the things: drama, laughter, love, confusion, family drama, great character development and a realistic storyline. I really love how she lays out the scenes, and introduces characters from her ATL world. Read the 1st book before this one.
I thought that the original twist of the independently talking genital organs had been fully exploited by the first book so it starts to feel overworked in this one. The plot also seemed rather disjointed and the ending was very abrupt. However, overall it is still fun and entertaining for the most part.
A story I didn't know I needed to read. Yet, here we are. Desiree does not disappoint. When I started ready and it came to me that it's talking BODY parts. I was like wtf am I reading!? But, it became juicy immediately. Very pleased with this read. Glad to catch up with Elodie & Shaheed. Nice introduction with Althea as well. Hopefully she has a cameo in another book soon.
As always, Desi came through with a good storyline that was hilarious, to say the least. The talking below stole the show, hands down. Keep bringing that fiyah 🔥 Desiree. You're definitely my favorite author! See y'all in the cafeteria Cafe mates and rejects!!!
I loved this!! From the first book to birth of Nikko aka Nikki lol. I read them both in one day!! Absolutely loved it, I laughed out loud so many times!! Sad for TheeThee, but so happy she got in the groove!! Again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well, what can I say. This book had me hooked from beginning to end. You know how many times I looked down and wished my girl below would talk to me. You did it with this one.
I have been looking everyday for part 2 of this book for months.I laughed so much that my boyfriend asked what was so funny. Please🙏 let there be a part 3
Desiree has done it again!!! I always look forward to the next installment, just to see how she connects one storyline to another -- keep em coming girl...😆
