Can the hot, older professor tame his rebellious student into a good girl? Or is she doomed on a path of self-destruction, determined to ruin herself and take down anyone who gets in her way?
***
Vincent
Giselle has daddy issues written all over her. Despite the sharp wit she exhibits now and then in my romantic poetry and lit class, she refuses to apply herself. She seethes with a f*k you attitude, and if she doesn’t get her shit together soon, she’s going to flunk out of college completely.
But I just can’t stand by and let that happen. This girl is drowning, destroyed by an abusive family, with no one to believe in her. I’m willing to be that one person who sees the good in her, even if she fights me every step of the way.
Giselle
Everyone on campus harbors their fair share of raunchy fantasies when it comes to the tall, dark, and sexy Professor Vincent Stonebridge. I’d be more than happy for a quick romp in the sheets with him. Instead, he’s hellbent on fixing me for some reason. I hate that he sees me as nothing more than a broken, lost little girl.
I want his attention. I want his body. I want to be enough for once in my miserable life.
When our relationship strays from strictly professional and into forbidden territory, Professor Stonebridge will do everything in his power to fix my bratty attitude, and turn me into a good, obedient student, hanging on his every word. I crave his guidance, his patience, and his praise.
But am I too far gone to be saved?
*** This is a professor/student, forbidden, age gap romance, with explicit content intended only for mature readers. Please check the list of TWs at the beginning of the book. All characters are adults over 18 years of age.
For such a short book, this one was interesting and encompassed quite a full journey of this couple. Of course, an exted epilogue down the lane would have been even more perfect, but their HEA is definite!
I liked both characters. I didn't see him as arrogant, so the title of the book is a little bit weird to me 🤷♀️😅. I saw him more as a serious person, very focused on his teaching career and his passion for old books.
While she was just trying to get a hold of her life, since she was consistently unhappy because of the chains her family put around her future. Happily for her, she found her biggest supporter in her professor, the H 🥰.
There was some drama because of pos family. There was spice, very nicely intertwined into the story. And then there's their HEA, which was sweet and so deserved.
I'll be back for more from this author.
What to expect - age gap (23 h, 48H) - forbidden relationship (for a short period of time, at least) - they found happiness and support in each other - no V, spicy times - HEA, epilogue 6 months later

This was a lovely short story of how meeting someone can encourage you to change your life to what you truly want. It's spicy enough to keep it interesting and relatable, so overall, it's a really nice read.
Arrogant Professor is Book 3 of the Tainted Professors series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, forbidden, girl gets her professor romance. Giselle "Elle" is a 23 year old college student who is being forced into a mold by her controlling father and sister. She is failing her business classes and extremely unhappy. Vincent is her hunky, 48 year old literature professor. It's the one class she enjoys. She has found him attractive, but when he finds her drunk on campus alone, he takes her home to recover. When she wakes up the next day and gets ready to go, she kisses him. He briefly kisses her back, but they part ways. He doesn't see her for some time but can't stop thinking about her. She is drawn to him, though, as he doesn't scold her or treat her like a failure like her family does. She feels seen, and he encourages her to be herself. OMG, the chemistry between these two was hot enough to burn down the university, and Vincent's Filthy mouth was sexy hot 🔥 🔥🥵. But when her dad and sister intervene again, will they ruin their happiness? These two were pure fire together, and we got a great HEA, but her family was a nightmare!!! I loved it! Audrey always delivers a hot and steamy, fast-paced read.

This is a truly perfect lose yourself read. It’s so immersive and well it’s Audrey Bell who wrote it so you know that it is going to be a good read. The hot older professor professes his understanding and shows her that someone cares about her failing college if she doesn’t get her act together after he finds her drunk on campus he takes her home with him for her safety , she kisses him briefly and he kisses back before he retracts. Hailing from an abusive family that has let her down Giselle / Elle Roche has daddy issues he can tell and professor Vincent Stonebridge’s bedside manner frustrates her to heck , she’d happily have a roll in the hay , hey she’s only human but he’s determined to fix her and she refuses to be tamed,.. her father and her sister are the ones who can be blamed . Vincent doesn’t see her around for a while and he misses her guile and dreams of her still … Elle is twenty three and he’s forty eight but bend her he will and make her his mate ?…Well this is a thrill of a ride. When she gets her way and the teacher becomes the pupil , who says you can’t teach an old dog.. hot dang . He dominates and she caves as the tendrils of want become a craving in her that is torrent and depraving. While her very existence he’s saving. Awesome writing Audrey Bell you know how to give us our fix of all that is tawdry with a heady mix of obsession and desire and the family in the mix is ready to douse their fire their flames of passion, but do they get their way? Or do they get to be together one day? Brilliant writing , great characters that have their own strengths and are real and relatable and totally endearing.

I don't understand the high reviews on this book. I went into this thinking the FMC was going to be a bit bratty, but she came across as a total bitch. To me she was such a rude and inconsiderate character that I didn't want to get to know her or keep reading. The passing of time in this book confused me too. She walked from wherever she lives to her class only 5 minutes prior to it starting (and I didn't get the sense she lived close at all), but the classroom is somehow completely empty when she finally gets there. So is everyone late then? Then the class itself felt like it was 5 minutes long, with the commentary and behavior from other students being stupid and not very believable to me. Or maybe my college days were too long ago for me to remember? And how is the professor using his finger to mark his spot in a book and hold it there, but then immediately folding his hands in front of him? How does that work? I don't know, the details were weird to me and I just couldn't follow so it's another DNF for me.
This book isn't what I normally expect from Audrey Bell. It was hard for me to get into the book. From the beginning to the middle of the book was very confusing. I thought it was supposed to be a romance, but it didn't come across as a romance book. It wasn't until around Chapter 10 that I started to feel like I was reading a romance book. Then I hit Chapter 13 (the last chapter) and the Epilogue and once again I was confused about the direction of the book. It seemed like the ending was very rushed and disjointed.
Sad to say I wouldn't recommend this book; however I would encourage everyone to read some of the other books that Audrey Bell has written. Overall I love Audrey Bell's books, just not this one.

This book is amazing! Elle is trying to live up to her father’s expectations and is failing. Vincent is a professor who finds himself faced with Elle’s sassiness in his class. He will help her one night and it will create a new dynamic between them. He soon sees the pressure her father has placed on her and urges her to find what works for her. It works until it doesn’t. An incident when her father shows up for family day will change everything, especially once her sister decides to get involved. But feelings have developed between Elle and Vincent and it will take them away from the past and on to a bright new future.

This book is a gem! Elle is struggling to meet her father's high expectations, while Vincent, a professor, encounters her sharp attitude in his class. After Vincent helps Elle one night, their relationship shifts dramatically. He sees the weight of her father’s pressure and encourages her to find her own way. Their bond grows until a family day incident and her sister's involvement turn everything upside down. As feelings develop between Elle and Vincent, they must move past their struggles and embrace a new future together.
If you’re into age-gap, professor/student dynamics with a strong alpha male and personal growth, this is a must-read! I loved the character development between Vincent and Elle. Elle’s challenging family situation breaks your heart, but Vincent’s evolving character is truly inspiring. This sweet, quick read is definitely worth a second look
Arrogant Professor is an emotional, angsty, steamy novella with intense villains and a gorgeous love story. University professor Vincent is an unflappable, bold, and determined man who knows exactly what he wants and will not settle for less. He fights his attraction to Elle from the beginning, not knowing who she really is or what she deals with in her life. Elle is really struggling on all fronts, and her bold bravery in the face of crushing forces is a highlight of this story. I loved watching these two get to know each other, fight their feelings, and overcome their obstacles. This was a hot and sweet read!

Looking for an age-gap, professor/student, alpha male, growth story? This is a great one! I loved watching the character development between Vincent and Elle. Although, my heart breaks for Elle. Poor thing has to overcome some seriously rough family baggage. Vincent’s character was one I grew to respect and admire. How he feels and acts as the story unfolds really made me happy. It’s good to see people with morals and standards but I love them finding reasons to bend them. It’s a cute quick read that I will probably read again
I enjoyed this Professor x Student match-up. He gave her the confidence booster she needed. Her home life was not as happy as she showed the public. Being branded the failure of the family and constant pressure was cracking her. The way Vincent was willing to throw everything away to protect Elle was amazing. He wanted to protect her from anyone and anything that would hurt her. He truly is a dream man.

“The air between us practically crackled with sexual tension, frantically grasping at each other, grinding, tongues tangled together. I was going to hell for this.”
I loved the storyline and the well fleshed out characters. Why is the forbidden always so attractive? “I just want you, Elle.” 😍 I absolutely loved Vincent and Giselle together. (And I really hated Giselle’s father and sister.) Dual POV, HEA and an epilogue.
Whether it’s about a cowboy, a biker or a hot professor: I love everything that’s written by Audrey Bell!.

Audrey Bell definitely has a beautiful style of writing! Elle and Vincent’s story is short, but everything is very well done. A taboo romance that is sweet, naughty, and nurturing while Vincent also slays Elle’s nemesis. I loved their chemistry, their mutual interests, and his generosity. Their passion, his dirty talk, and her responsiveness heat up the pages, but the emotional energy is powerful. I loved this couple!.

Vincent is the arrogant professor who takes his job seriously. He happens to save Elle one night when he finds her wasted from a frat party. Elle’s family is so controlling she doesn’t really have a life of her own. Vincent does his best to help her find her way. This was an okay read for me, I didn’t really care for the characters.

Such a quick and easy read. the best way to describe this is porn with plot although it also shows how children handle the pressure their parents put them under. The book is written well because I pitied Elle once we find out how she feels suffocated but is able to break free from that and figure herself out as a person.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Arrogant Professor, I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to keep reading so I could see what was going to happen next. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information about the book. I recommend reading this book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A quick, steamy age gap taboo romance between Ella and her professor Vincent. Although a slow burn start this gave the characters time to develop, Ella feels constricted by her family, they dictate everything about her even what she studies at Uni, the only person who respects, knows her worth and treats her like an adult is her English Lit professor, soon their feelings develop, a fairly large age gap but it didn’t deter how good this book was. The epilogue was rather vague but we can read between the lines that these two are a good match and they got their hea.
I absolutely loved Arrogant Professor by Audrey Bell. Vincent and Elle's story was well written and I was instantly hooked. They were such a great couple. Elle is struggling with family issues and at times it seems as though nothing is going right for her. But Vincent sees the Elle and he is determined to help her and be there, If you enjoy forbidden age/gap romance this is definitely for you.
Elle life is not what she wants. Her life has been decided by her father and he makes sure she knows it. When Ella goes out to forget her future, she runs into her professor.
Vincent is an English professor at the college and does his best to stay away from the drama, but when Elle runs into him what was a good deed, turns into a passionate future.

This is a steamy and passion field story that is a fairly quick read. It is fast paced forbidden story with pretty much instant love between a younger lady struggling in school and her much older literature professor. The story is about Vincent and Elle (Giselle). He finds her in an impaired condition and takes her home before she leaves she kisses him. She is sassy, feisty and struggling with the demands of her family. This is a good read with strong and likable characters.
She was and always has been a disappointment to her father. She is going to college on his dime and the coursework that he has chosen except for her literature class. That class is strictly her idea and she loves it and the professor intrigues her. One night the professor rescues her from a drunken episode and that's when thing start to get really interesting. With a family like hers no one needs enemies.

This book was so hot. The student/professor trope is so hard to pull off sometimes. This one was done perfectly. Elle and Vincent worked so well together. Elle’s backstory broke my heart for her. I loved that Vincent treated her as an adult and not still a child unlike her father and sister. It was a story of healing for Elle as well.

Hot, sexy, and sweet. Arrogant Professor made me want to go back to college and find a hot older professor! This was well-written, had just enough tension in the form of Elle’s family, and perfectly smutty.
I received an ARC of Arrogant Professor from the author, Audrey Bell. I am leaving my review voluntarily.
Arrogant Professor is a great easy quick read for all your forbidden age gap trope lovers! The storyline has a bit of an untraditional end to it but Elle and Vincent still get their HEA. Love their chemistry right off the bat and the dual POVs. Definitely add to your tbr if you’re looking for a sweet easy read with allllll the spice.

This book was much better than I expected (but should have known better, since it was written by Audrey Bell!)! I have read books with professor/student relationships that are cringey because of power dynamics, but this book (thankfully!) didn't have those! I enjoyed the dynamics between the MCs and their sweet story.
Great short read. Elle is the daughter of a rich man who wants to run her life. She is failing and miserable. Vincent is one of her professors who happens to be twice her age and oh so hot. They come together when she gets drunk one night and he helps her out. She confesses her true feelings for him and things take off from there. Enjoy

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Vincent and his sassy student, Elle/Giselle. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, forbidden desire, secrets, familial sabotage and steam.
