This was a great manga! I enjoyed it so much, it was very VERY FUNNY! And for once, the sexual relationship wasn’t disturbing.
It’s about a cute and grumpy shaman who goes into clients’ nightmares to incinerate the bad ‘seedlings’ that cause them, and he is in need of an assistant. Who is the most ridiculous person in existence 🤣♥️. Of course shamans are usually cursed with their own nightmare seedling that causes anger or hunger or whatever, and soon after they go into a person’s nightmare, our grumpy shaman is afflicted with…. uncontrollable arousal🙄, good thing he has a generous and willing new assistant!
It’s very sweet and cute and hilarious!!!! Every time they go into people dreams, expect to be entertained. I didn’t even mind the weird bits, like the too friendly plants!!
Ok now how did i get so lucky with buying this blindly and this becoming one of my top reads of the year already??? SO 👏 GOOD 👏 what a silly but great erotic concept. The english paperback is uncensored so we get very pretty details (wink wink) for both MCs.
Shin is SOOO cute! His big doe eyes are the cutest u just wanna do stuff to him, yknow? But he’s basically Jungoh’s superior. And woof Jungoh is so goofy and handsome.
This opens up sooo many sorts of themes for dreams and them bangin.. holy heck i cant wait to devour the rest of this series!!!!!!
in celebration of finally getting the physical cover i’m putting this here.
definitely one of the best yaoi’s i’ve ever read. it has a perfect balance of funny, hot and gut wrenching. i can’t even remember how many times ive read it
This plot is hilarious & kinda absurd but I love it. The art is good as well, and of course I'm drawn to it because it deals with the dreaming world. Jungoh & Ibeom have such cute chemistry - the younger one, Ibeom, is a shaman who deals with nightmares, while Jungoh is supposed to be his assistant. Then boom, Ibeon is stuck by a cursed "malady" which turns out to be... horniness? Sure! Jungoh is like, not phased at all, like yeah my job is to have sex in dreams, sounds totally normal and fine with me.
This was a lot funnier than I was expecting. It's an interesting setup that I hope will have more actual plot and substantial relationship development as it goes on, rather than just continuing as a sort of repetitive sex pollen romp.
It was all very fun in this opening volume, though. Jungoh is a 24 year old taking a gap year from college and struggling to hold down any jobs. He's charming and easygoing and doesn't seem like the type to get too attached to anything - which is typically a good thing, because it seems like he gets fired a lot? I'm hoping for more backstory about him and some glimpses of his friends and life outside of this job.
On a whim, he answers a flyer that Ibeom's shaman grandmother put up - probably to pull him in, specifically? She seems to know a lot more than she's letting on, including some stuff she vaguely shared with Jungoh after he officially signs his new hire documents. I didn't really understand her explanations, although I got the strong sense that Jungoh and Ibeom potentially have some sort of red string of fate deal going on - which could explain how Jungoh is able to enter dreams with a shaman without needing the ribbon tying them together.
There are some job hazards associated with being a shaman, where they can get on-the-job injuries that lead to maladies that create uncontrollable urges: like rage or hunger. Or, in Ibeom's case, uncontrollable horniness. Which he reluctantly asks Jungoh to help him get through.
I'm a little wary of this being an ongoing part of the story, with them having to sneak off to do it every time Ibeom enters a client's dream...? But hopefully it doesn't go down any weird routes I'm not into. Right now, their chemistry is fun and I'd like to see how their "business arrangement" can transition into an actual romantic relationship.
Ibeom's older brother is really fun, too. I enjoy how protective he is, but also how much Jungoh sticks up for himself, too. Although the leg-stroking scene at the cafe made me laugh out loud. The awkwardness...
Intrigued for now. We'll see how the series goes from here.
This is adorable. I've rarely read a smutty BL story so well put together. The central premise is unique and interesting, with the main characters going on dream quests to fulfil Ibeom's work as a shaman. No red flag nonsense, just wholesome romance with lots of sex scenes.
The main characters have great chemistry and individual characterisation without overburdening the story with traumatic backstories, subplots, and side quests. All the elements fit together seamlessly, from the silly smut set-ups, to the gradual catching of feelings, to the forced proximity, to the antagonist in the background giving a little bit of urgency to the story. Without spoiling the twist, by the end of the story, it's actually quite emotional. The romance is easy to root for because they're so good together.
Overall, a super sweet smutty love story. The art is consistently good, and really beautiful. I love this artist's style. Thoroughly enjoyed this story. It makes your heart happy.
Loved this manhwa!! The artstyle is the cutest, same aa the characters. I enjoyed the episodical nature of the story, with the MC and the ML solving nightmare cases. This also served as a catlayst for the general plot arc of vanquishing Ibeom's seedling nightmare. I didn't want it to end, currently reading the side stories (the episode with the 6 Ibeoms(?) hahahahahaha).
The grandma's the best. I really enjoyed the family dynamic, and how supported Ibeom was. His feelings regarding his adoption, and his consequent relation with his brother were well depicted I think.
This was such a cute story!!!! It had such a lovely mix of lighthearted antics/plotlines (plants, historical, clones…) while also still having a healthy and interesting relationship between the ml and mc. All the characters, even the antagonists, were really fleshed out and consistent in their reasonings. It wasn’t the longest story in the world, but it was definitely one worth my time!!!
Review for entire series This was such a cute grumpy-sunshine story. A good fast-paced way to pass the time. Once again, thank the BL manhwa gods for a considerate top (love our adorable bisexual puppy) and the lack of glamorized sexual assault🙌🏾
4⭐s for all 3 seasons. I hope we'll get side stories some day soon
Para mí esto fue el peak del romance de vrd los amo son perfectos el uno con el otro vivan para siempre felices qsy les doy mi alma este es el verdadero romance adms la trama estuvo re entretenida en si en fin mi nuevo manwha favorito
I mean, it's creative. It's fun. Don't go into it expecting a serious love story. But for a bit of smexy wholesomeness, it's good. It is short, fast-paced and easy to get into.
