📚⇢ Esta fue una temporada cortita en donde vemos el inicio del acuerdo entre nuestros Alfas; me encanta la personalidad tan gentil y amable de Ash y como se complementa con la seriedad e inexperiencia de Lyle, es obvio lo mucho que se necesitaban en sus vidas el uno al otro. Mi hermoso Lyle ya está cayendo enamorado debido a que nunca nadie lo había tratado tan lindo como lo hace Ash, pero me da temor que para Ash no sea lo mismo… Sólo queda esperar a ver la siguiente temporada.

Esta bien, no soy muy fan de los omegaverse, pero este está decente a trama no me atrae del todo, la manera en la que se encontraron la primera vez me parece muy vacía, no comprendo cuales fueron las intenciones de Ash detrás de ese beso o que lo llevo a tomar esa decisión, lo continuare solo por los personajes, me parecen interesantes, y quiero ver más sobre la vida de ellos, principalmente Karlyle y su familia, siento que su familia sera el detonante de todo.

4 stars. The art style is so pretty, and I liked the dynamic between the MCs. The angst near the end of the manhwa was appreciated. 😫

Just finisher season 1, I really do love lyle and Ash's relationship.
So far, it's really interning so far, karlyle falling for Ash even though he doesn't like him back yet, so I hope he will fall harder for sweetheart karlyle.
Plus they use communication so that was nice to see.
Gonna read season 2 soon .

Read this series on Lezhin this year. And copy/pasting my review to all the volumes because I’m lazy
I really love this one. Mostly I love A/O/B verses that subvert the stereotypes and trends. Where we usually have alpha omega pairings or if an alpha meets a beta the beta finds out they were actually a recessive omega and wham bam we have the couple procreating. I think a lot of MM alpha omega romances are great and can subvert the genre by dealing with things like trans issues. Or challenging ideas around body types and personalities. Also sometimes it’s nice to just read a story about a couple having a very heteronormative baby making relationship. I read it all.
But it definitely can get to be too much and harmful stereotypes start to emerge so I adore this series because we get to see a relationship with two alphas development and that even in a universe where we have a secondary gender so men can have babies too, love and sexual attraction does not need to be dependent on whether a couple can reproduce together. In A/b/o universes since omega males have babies homophobia rarely comes up and M|M relationships are as normal as MF, (as are FF when the female alpha can impregnate the omega one way of another) but it ALL hinges on societal acceptance around making BABIES so obviously alphas would NEVER mate will other alphas or omegas with omegas. There are some other series where the author explores this with side couples but very few make the primary couple two alphas or they will make an exception rule for how that couple reproduces.
Basically I’m saying I love that this series doesn’t do that. That the couples relationship and their love for each other is the only relevant thing regardless of the social pressures they are getting to conform.
I also love their personalities and the emotional struggles they go through as the come to terms with their sexual preferences. And bonus the art is beautiful and the smut is 🥵

This rating goes for the whole story, since I didn't read it in by volumes.
Okay, so I liked this(?) More like 3.5 starts tho. The pace was great, the chapters flew by and I couldn't believe I was almst done so fast. I really like the art, tho the two MC look so much alike (same body, ugh) that I struggled sometimes (mainly when in night mode). And no commemt about the elders.
The smut was good, tho at some point too much (specially during Ash's rut, like dude wtf).
The MC was annoying. He never communciated his feelings to Ash, just broke up with him AND LEFT (after hearing some of his coworkers gossiping). Apprently in the novel Ash's feeeling are more clear, but in here it was as if he suddenly loved Lyle after the month apart. Sigh.
I liked the story behind the painting. But I feel the plot could have dwelved more into it. We don't get much on Ash's feelings or past at all.
The ending was the worst. Captive Prince 2.0. The last 5 chapters were aboutAsh's rut, and at some point I was worried there wasn't gonna be enough time to wrap the story. And indeed. It happend in 1 chapter -.- Very disappointing.
Well, at least it was enjoyable and tooky mind off things. My brain can't process reading and complex stories rn.

This was cute, and beautifully drawn, but something didn't sit rightfor me. The two main characters are decently fleshed out, but their chemistry was a bit off. Ash is so lovely and friendly and kind, but there's never really a good reason for him to be THAT nice and start the situationship in the first place. Whereas it makes total sense that Karlyle would fall head over heels for Ash when he's so starved for affection and kindness that Ash would be like pure sunshine in his life. That dynamic made me feel like there was going to be some deceptive subplot, or some big twist about why Ash agreed in the first place, only there never was.
Other than that, the plot was quite slow and didn't have much in the way of sustained conflict; the major draw to keep reading were little bits and pieces dropped about their backstories that I wanted to clarify. I kept feeling like I was reading a sequel and missing all this information about the original couple, or something like that. Side characters often popped up without any introduction or context.
Overall, a good read, but could have been smoother. The art was very pretty though.

La historia está muy linda, es un omegaverse alfa x alfa.
Karlyle Frost viene de una familia prestigiosa, obsesionados con mantener la clase y la pureza de su historia. Karlyle aprendió a esconder sus emociones, afrontar todo con estoicismo. No ha logrado sentir nada fuerte y está resignado a qué en algún momento le conserten un matrimonio con un omega escogido por su familia. Las relaciones y el sexo son solo algo rutinario en su vida, como un deber.
Su médico le recomienda cambiar la percepción, ya que los omegas lo tienen hastiado le sugiere buscar un alfa.
Su cuñado le ayuda y le presenta a Ash Jones, un alfa muy guapo y carismático.
Karlyle está sorprendido pues Ash es el hombre desconocido que beso en año nuevo.
Empiezan a salir, más como tratamiento que por gusto. Ash se muestra muy dulce, es dedicado, atento, alegre y también muy pasional.
Karlyle mantiene un monólogo interno porque no sabe si lo que siente es adecuado, no sabe que nombre darle a ese sentimiento pero si sabe que su vida ha mejorado desde que empezó esa relación con Ash.
