Claimed by the Mafia is third full-length novel in The Billionaire Mafia dark romance series. There's no cheating or cliffhanger and comes with a happily-ever-after. An exquisite written story with complex characters and a twisty and storyline that's gripping and enthralling and got me hooked from the first page and kept me on the edge of my seat with it's pulse-pounding action and mind-blowing pleasure and spice. It's an addictingly good and unputdownable read filled with violence, lies, deception, danger, secrets, family rivalry, hatred, darkness, madness, power play, power exchange, power struggle, attacks, threats, revenge, revelations, retaliation, mystery, romantic suspense, anger, billionaire romance dark mafia romance, age gap trope, virgin heroine story, opposite attracts, insta-lust, organize crime, protective hero romance, forced proximity, greed, alliances, guilt, pawn, loyalties, action packed, surprises, drama, passion, possessiveness, obsession, tension, emotions, corruption, traitor, heartache, arson, insecurities, twists and turns, angst, attempted murder, kidnapping, attempted rape, pain, trust, survival, surprise pregnancy, chaos, mayhem, hidden agendas, and love.
Conor O'Shea is twenty-eight years old and twin to Liam. He's also the last O'Shea man bachelor in the bunch, after his two brothers had fallen in love and married the Marino sisters a rival family of the O'Shea's for years. Liam is Don of the family after their dad Nolan O'Shea was gunned down two years ago. With Liam as new the Don and at the helm of the the O'Shea's empire. He and his brother's made a lot of changes from the old ways employed by his father, by legitimize the organization and getting rid of all the corrupted politicians, enforcers, lawyer, and businesses. However, their old weasel lawyer Sean Flanagan did not like being can or the way that the brother's was running the organization, so he contacted their uncle Desmond O'Shea who was banished back to Ireland after a dispute with their father. Desmond was their dad's right hand man, but he was more vicious than Nolan. Where Nolan was all about business and making money Desmond was ruthless and filled with darkness.
Liam and his wife Rory had taken a much needed vacation to Colorado in a cabin off the grid leaving Conor in charge until he returns. However, everything turns upside down when Desmond came back to town to take over the organization as the Don kicking out his mother Maeve and sister Finley out of their home in the main off the O'Shea's compound. He somehow gotten a hold of their books and anyone who owed Nolan money she send his enforcers to collect payments and if they could not pay break their legs and arms until they pay. But in Jonathan Sheppard's case bring the his daughter Emma back to the compound. After Liam had taken the reins he decided whomever owed his father before he died he was going to forgive their debt. Desmond was greedy, brutal and sadistic, and he believes that his nephews had ran the business in the grave because they would no longer operate in drugs, prostitution, blackmail and all things illegal where it was more lucrative.
Emma is a spitfire, strong-willed, sassy, loyal, and fierce woman, and when Desmond goons came to collect she put up a fight against muscled bound big enforcers. Emma had just found out about the debt that her father owes the O'Shea's and decided that she would work even more hours to repay the debt. When the enforcers came for her dad she didn't want them to hurt so she decided to go with them to work out a payment plan. But when Desmond saw her he no longer wanted money he wanted her instead. Conor so happen to be their when the goons brought Emma there because he had went to go check on his mother and sister because he was getting a bad feeling in his stomach. He noticed someone was wrong because the gate was closed and heavily armed man in security booth who he did not recognize and he wasn't a part of the security firm that they hired. Desmond came to the gate and told him that his family no longer lived there and he was now living in the master bedroom which was Maeve's room. He could tell that Emma was scared after Desmond told her what he wanted from her and her eyes was pleading to him for help, knowing that his uncle had something nefarious planned for her he knew he had to help her. He snuck back on to the property and rescued her. Desmond is so evil that he first tried to kill Conor when he sent one of his burly enforcer to his gym.
Knowing that he would still try he decided to go to hotel where the rest of his family and Emma’s dad were staying until they get word to Liam. From the first moment that Conor laid eyes on Emma he was instantly attracted to her. But when he heard how old she was he decided to lay off. Because Emma had to grow up when she was ten years old after mother die by taking care of her dad who sunk into a depression she never had the chance to be a normal young lady like going on a date or getting or first kiss. She was shocked how her body was reacting to be near Conor's body. Conor is a man that doesn't do relationships nor sleeps with the same woman twice so he was shocked how his body was reacting to sweet Emma. He didn't think that he was good enough for her because he's a fighter and owns a gym. He thought he was broken and didn't of the same capacity like his brother's to fall in love. They couldn't stay away from each other and succumbed to their attraction, but he was still having doubts and they were catching feelings.
Conor kept pushing her away. He believes that the best thing to do is to let her go because he didn't want her to hurt because of him. But when his uncle tried to kill the entire O'Shea family, Emma and her dad and their all by blowing up their hotel then had his two goons kidnapped Emma. Conor went ballistic even though he kept denying how he felt about her. He wanted to go storming the compound to get her back but his brother's had to talk him off the ledge. They devised a plan and when went to the compound C-4 bombing. However, Emma is a fighter and she wasn't going down without a fight and let Desmond rape her. She stabbed him in the shoulder with a pen that she had found in the kidnappers van and hit him over the head with a lamp. She was running out the door along with the enforcers so all she needed was a distraction to get out of the house which Conor and his brother's provided. She made the rescue mission easier for them since she ran outside into Conor's arms. He didn't want to be away from her again and professed his feelings of love which was clearly reciprocated. After being around Rory and Sophia Emma was wondering what could she do to get Conor to look at her the way how Liam and Rafferty looked at their wives. She was finally able to nab the last O'Shea man with little bit on her part just by being her beautiful and sweet self. The O'Shea brother's continuously procreating with the women in their lives. Another great addition to the series. I can't wait for the final sibling Finley and how she will take down her Marino man. We watched how the two widows interact in this book and wonder if Maeve and Jonathan will get their book.

Emma and Conor have fierce, off-the-charts chemistry that both struggle to control at first. She sees him as the enemy even though he rescued her from his uncle, who is out to control of the family interests. He is a ruthless, power-hungry member of the O’Shea family who wants to take the family back to its roots of illegal, but very profitable dealings. Conor and his brothers have an uphill battle ahead to wrestle control out of the hands of their uncle and protect their family too.

Emma is gutsy, determined and willing to fight for her life rather than be used to pay off her father’s debts. After Conor rescues her from his uncle’s clutches, Emma admires his honesty, strength, kindness and his willingness to help and protect her and her father. She trusts him to do what he says he will do. The sparks they set off when they are near each other could burn everything down around them, and that’s even before they indulge their desire for each other. Uncharacteristically for Conor, he tries to protect Emma and her innocence from him as well. He is used to getting what he wants, but his feelings for her are different than he has ever felt before and taking advantage of her and her gratitude just seems wrong. Resistance proves futile however and Conor realizes that he and his world are a danger to Emma that might get her killed. He forces himself to put distance between them, though her hurt feelings nearly having him backtracking. Their story is tumultuous, steamy and includes a few twists and bumpy parts that seem impossible to navigate. Will Conor fight for his HEA like his brothers have done or will he let Emma go?

This part of the series for Ava Gray is incredible. I love these characters, so it's wonderful to relive them in each subsequent book. Seeing Liam grow into the leader he was meant to be. And Raff being the fun-loving younger brother who adores his loving wife. Now we get to see Conor (Liam's twin and Boxing aficionado) find his true love. This time in the form of Emma.

Poor Emma. She had to give up her dreams of college to take care of her ailing father. A man who has been extremely depressed since his wife died many years ago. He also took out a loan to pay some of his bills. The loan, though, was with the O'Shea family. He never paid it back, thinking that it was forgiven after the older O'Shea died.

Slight problem with that. When Conor & Liam's Uncle decides to take over the business, he wants to get payback from everyone that owes the family. Including Emma and her father. In return for payment, Emma has to go with him. Just awful timing for her.

Thank goodness Conor was there when she arrived. He saves her from his Uncle and whisks her away to his place. They fight, but deep down she is ecstatic that he was there for her.

These two are combustible from the get-go and it's an enjoyable ride to read it. You fall in love with Conor immediately. And feel awful for Emma for everything she goes through. Except she's a strong gal! She shows everyone how strong she really is. Gotta love it!

This is the 3rd story in The Billionaire Mafia series where we get to see Conor find his woman, Emma that he’ll do anything to protect. When Liam the new mafia Don goes on vacation with his wife all heck breaks loose with their Uncle coming back from Ireland forcing his way into the family estate and becoming the Don! Emma discovers her dad has a debt owed to the O'Shea's but tries not to worry. Her dad has been depressed and lonely since her mom passed away and has been the only one running the house and working to support them so when she’s taken to make a deal with the O'Shea's she finds herself in an unsafe situation fighting to keep the fear from taking over. When Connor knows the beautiful woman is innocent he rescues her and boy is their chemistry off the charts. Trouble coming quickly and becomes deadly and while trying to wait out the return of Liam does their Uncle become a power hungry dangerous man and the O'Shea brothers are shocked to find an alliance in their sworn enemy. Time will tell if the truce will work to bring their Uncle down and restore all the hard work they fought to become a legal organization. It’s wonderful to see Connor and Emma coming together and bringing life, family and love to her and her dad! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh man, I am so loving the Billionaire Mafia series so much. The world Ava Gray has created for these characters is deliciously dark and brought to life in vivid detail. I thought the book was action packed, had an original storyline, and has a little mystery mixed in. I love trying to figure out who done what I’m books. This book is a dark mafia romance that contains dark themes and dark topics. There is a tiny age gap and instant station between the MMC and FMC. I thought that the characters were complex and had an electric kind of chemistry. I loved the push and pull from both characters. This is the third book in the series and each book is about a different couple but the plot and drama continues from book to book.

Coner is broody, intense and loyal to his family. He was determined and ruthless. Emma was strong and determined to take care of her dad. I felt so bad for her. She had a backbone and took care of herself. I loved the chemistry Coner and Emma had it was instant and grew into a scorching hot heat. The angst they both experienced was face fanning.

As soon as the O’Shea crime family starts taking their business legit, their jerk of an uncle shows up from Ireland and is determined to keep the business crooked. When Uncle Desmond decides to kidnap Emma Shepherd and use her as payment for her father’s debt, Conor O’Shea rescues her. Conor keeps Emma safe, and the two form a bond over time. When Uncle Desmond comes calling again, will Conor be able to once again save Emma?

This book is pretty good, but it feels like it’s mostly setting up the fourth book in the series. The romance between Conor and Emma is fast. The two are very different, but even though she’s innocent, Emma is sassy. She’s a fighter, and Conor is attracted to her spirit. All of the characters are great, and I love that the whole family takes part in the story. This book sets up the next one which will focus on the union of two main crime families, the O’Sheas and the Marinos. Another marriage is in the works to seal that deal. I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

Read Claimed by the Mafia and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss.

OMG! Wow, I was absolutely astounded reading this story, the story was written well and the characters were really captivating. This story was about Emma and Conor O'Shea, Conor got wind his uncle Desmond was in town, he was trying to get a hold of his brothers when he noticed his uncles goons dragging a female, now he needed to rescue her. Emma is used as payment and the uncle was collecting and he let her know, now she needed to escape. The O'Shea's have conflict with the uncle he wants to take over and the brothers will fight to keep what is theirs. There was a lot of action, drama, danger, violence, killings, enemies, trauma, betrayal, lies, secrets, twist and turns, greed, revenge, kidnapping, lust, pleasure, rough, raw, intense, sexual passion and maybe even love.

Emma’s dad borrowed 25 grand from the mafia in his depression so he could attempt to get his life together. It didn’t work and now he not only is being taken care of by his daughter, but he owes the mafia with no way to repay them. Conor is the only son of the O’Shea mafia family who is single and he has no intention of getting married. When his uncle comes to town to reclaim the family business, it’s up to Conor and his brothers to stop him.

Emma is brave and I love that. She has always had to take charge so she is capable and willing to do what it takes to survive. She’s no weakling. I love a strong female lead.

Conor is all in his own head. He is a fighter and his body shows it. But in his mind, the battles are different. I love that he wants to protect Emma and wants to do right by her.

They fall in love quickly. It was almost too quickly for me, but I understood the timeline. They were so sweet together. And I can’t wait to hear an update on them in the next book!

Sweet and short!…4 Stars!

Conor O’Shea rescues Emma, a young woman whose father owed a big chunk of money from an Irish mob who now abducts her as collateral payment. The mob happens to be his ruthless uncle Desmond, the younger brother of his dead father who came back from Ireland claiming he’s now the head of the O’Shea’s legal and illegal businesses. Desmond kicked out his mother, sister, brother and his wife out of the O’Shea compound and Conor need to think fast of what to do. Knowing his way in and out of the compound, he was able to rescue Emma. He waited for his twin brother Liam who is in charge to plan how to get their compound and businesses back. As soon as Liam’s back from a vacation with his wife and now in their secured hotel, their uncle trapped them in and burned it. Luckily, they all escaped but now they have to fight their thug uncle. How are they going to do it? This was a good story. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Tropes : mafia romance, rich guy x poor girl, age gap (7years), J/P H
Ending : HFN (married and expecting a baby)
Triggers : 💀 of loved ones, violence, gore, attempted SA, abuse, kidnapping
Spice : 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Angst : 🔥🔥/5
OM/OW drama : none
Intimacy details: virgin h, condoms-no condoms, rough sex, oral
Standalone/Series : part of an interconnected series

Hero : Conor O’Shea (28)
Heroine: Emma Shepherd (21)

The romance build up was pretty quick. This all happened in a couple of days to 2 weeks ish I think and they got married by the end of the book, which was 1-2 weeks after knowing each other. I’m okay with that tho.

The angst was pretty low for me. There was push and pull on Conor’s side. The MMC was quite a gentleman too and pretty smitten with the FMC.

This is a pretty basic book, nothing special or memorable but good to pass time.

This book draws you in and keeps you turning the pages. Conor and Emma had one hot, intense connection that was on fire.
Emma is taken by the uncle of the O’Shea family, who has taken over the family business after Conor’s father passed away. Anyone who hasn’t paid, will pay in some other form.
Emma, who’s father isn’t in the best of health, owed O’Shea money before he passed away. So the uncle takes her in return.
Conor is there when she is brought back and lessens to hers pleas for help and takes her back to his place. And even though the go back and forth, there is an underlying attraction on both parts. These two are just hot!

But there is some stuff brewing and their may be an alliance being made….

Emma works more than forty hours a week to help pay for the bills, since her dad will not go back to work. Her mother died when she was a young girl and she looks likes her mom, that it bothers him, that she is gone. She is shocked when she finds out that her father owes 25k to the O'Shea Crime family.

Conor is the twin to Liam, who is head of the family, he is intent on making everything legit. Conor is a MMC fighter and runs O'Shea gym. Their uncle Desmond, runs the family in Ireland and wants to get the US operations back up and running. He abducts Emma for payment on the money that was due the family. She is rescued by Conor, who has no desire for anything permanent but there is something about Emma that draws him to her again and again.

Loved Conor and Emma! Definitely action packed, intense, emotional on every level. When Conor saves her from his demented uncle there’s something about her that makes him crazy with desire and a strong urge to protect her. Serious chemistry between these two, but Conor things she’s better without him, she needs to be safe and pushing her away is the best thing for both of them. When she’s in danger he realizes his feelings for her are real and that he’ll do anything for Emma because he loves her. Conor never thought he’d find what his brothers have, but it just takes the right one to come along and for him it’s Emma. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book to see how this all plays out. I found this book on Booksprout.

I loved Conor and Emma, I think Conor is my favourite brother of the three O'Sheas, he is strong, protective and hot but (even if he is a little misguided for a time). Emma is awesome too, she is also strong and takes action as required, yet also appreciates the care that Conor shoes for her.

While this book could certainly be read as a standalone, I have read the two previous books in this series and it does give a fuller understanding of the wider story if you have read them all in order.

I am really hoping that there will be a next book with Conor's sister, which appears possible based on the last chapter.

3rd O'Shea down

We get Conor's story this time. There is a little difference in the timeline of how things happen but otherwise close to the previous brothers.

The book does need some editing with misplaced words and sentences copied.

But the only thing that annoys me the most is the main cover models. It is obvious that they don't look like anything that the character is described (namely bright blue eyes not brown) but also Liam & Conor are exactly IDENTICAL except extra muscles not a completely different model. Ava Gray could've used the same model if she was vigilant about this. While I enjoy this series and a few of her books she is still an indie writer and these things make a difference when reading books.

This is Book 3 of The Billionaire Mafia it is a stand-alone But the other couples do appear in this book.
I thought this was a fabulous addition to this series! I was captured by the spunky Emma and Conor who tried to save her. They had that spark right off, that chemistry that can't be denied. The steamy scenes were great between them and written beautifully.
The book ends on a HEA for the couple but the larger storyline is unresolved and the book sets up the next one which I want to read !!!!
Great Read I recommend it and the series!.

Trouble in the family

Claimed by the Mafia is the third book in The Billionaire Mafia series. I have read the first book, Knocked Up by the Mafia, and enjoyed it so was hoping for the same with this book.....and it delivered on an enjoyable and engaging read. The story finds Emma and Conor crossing paths because of something her father does and the sparks fly. Emma is strong, independent, and a beauty. Conor is the youngest of the brothers and as with the others he is mercurial. But he knows he wants Emma, even if he thinks he is not good enough for her. In the end it is the women matched with the other brothers that help along the way to an HEA.

Wow just wow, I loved this book. It had me hooked from the beginning, the connection between Conor and Emma was instant. Just that one look when Emma and that was Conor done and hooked. They made a great team and was great to read about them, but also to read about the other characters who were in the other book. It was good to catch up on the other characters. I can’t wait to read the next book about Finlay, it seems like it’s going to be an adventure. Highly recommend.

Will he be true to his feelings?

Emma thought she was going g to negotiate a deal for the money her father owed the O'Shea family, but Desmond O'Shea decided he'd take Emma as payment instead. When Conor O'Shea went to confront his uncle about taking over the family by force from his twin brother Liam, he finds Emma being dragged onto the compound against her will. Conor ends up saving Emma and hiding her away with the rest of his family while they figure out what to do about his uncle. This is a great read and I highly recommend it.

Conner is an O Shea. Emma is a civilian who works and takes care of her dad who hasn’t had a job in a long time due to an accident. While cleaning up in her dad’s room she comes across a letter that states he owes $25;000 to the o. sheas. He told Emma the loan was settled. But to her she knew it wasn’t. Then a knock comes to the door her dad is beaten and she’s kidnapped
She is taken to the O’Shea compound and is handed over to Desmond their uncle. Conner saves her
This is a must read book. The characters and storyline are awesome

Claimed by the Mafia is a good story, it is full of suspense, fighting within the family, betrayal, and is ridiculously addictive. The chemistry between Connor and Emma was off the charts, their relationship started off as a rescue and you got to watch it grown throughout the book, despite the stubbornness on Connor's side. This is a really good mafia themed book with all the wonderful things they bring with it. This is a definite must read.

When Conor went to confront his in uncle and saw Emma, he knew he had to save her. It was an almost instant love between the two. It was cute quick read. This is the third book in The Billionaire Madia series. There is a lot of mafia action happening. Takeovers enforcers, shootouts, fires, and bombs. During all of this, the two main characters have been thrown together and have some serious chemistry.

Owing the O'Shea's Means Selling Your Soul

Owing the O'Shea family will have you owing them your soul, especially if you are female. For Emma, her dad's debt leads to her be taken by the new head of the O'Shea family and his intentions are rather terrible. Luckily Conor has decided to help her out and take her with him. This was an emotionally charged story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the 3rd book in the series and it didn’t disappoint. This is Conor’s story, he is the lone wolf of the family, he doesn’t believe in love. He loves his family but doesn’t believe love is for him. Here comes Emma, who was kidnapped by his uncle for a debt owed by her father. He rescued Emma and along the way, they fell in love. Can’t wait for the next book. Great epilogue.

I loved this book.

Conor and Emma, though from opposite sides of her father's debt, have instant chemistry. Conor basically kidnaps her from her previous kidnapper - his uncle. He doesn't believe he is destined to find love... Emma proves him wrong.

Great story that will keep you guessing, wonderful characters, tons of feels... Highly recommend!.
