Addie

What kind of romance writer has to ask her best friend to teach her about relations between a man and a woman?
Me, that’s who.
Because not only am I probably the most inexperienced author in the world, but my social circle is more of a line, and it goes straight to my best friend Chase.
I’m awkward. And quirky. But Chase has always accepted me for me, so who better than him to teach me the ins and outs — if you catch my drift — of intimacy?
He knows me better than anyone. The only thing he doesn’t know about is my hidden life as an author.
Or my unrequited feelings for him.

Chase

I’ve managed to compartmentalize Addie for the entirety of our friendship, until one too many conversations begin to revolve around playing hide the sausage — if you catch my drift.
Suddenly, I’m waking up with visions of a different kind of relationship. And then she throws the curveball of the century and asks me to be her first … well, everything.
Agreeing to teach her makes me second-guess my thoughts about Addie.
She’s the meat to my potatoes. The yin to my yang. But Addie doesn’t know how I spend my spare time.
Or about my unrequited feelings for her.

Chase and Addie have been friends since high school. He was always popular among the girls and she was the shy and not social one. Addie also had ADHD and autism, which made her not able to communicate properly with people. She always had feelings for Chase, but wasn't able to act up on them later in her life.

The story takes us years later, when Addie is secretly writing romance novels and wants to try writing more spicier books. Which led us to her offering Chase to help her with this by taking her virginity.

To be honest, I am in love with her. Despite her problems, she was still trying to be different and she was gaining more confidence. She was a beautiful woman and she deserved happiness. Chase, on the other hand, was still a ladies' man, but for the first time in his life he wanted something real and forever when it comes to love. We were able to see that he also had feelings towards Addie, but he was afraid to act up on them, because he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Well, thanks to Addie's recently gained friends, she realized that she was in love with him and was determined to tell him.

What I didn't like was the Chase not seeing Addie's feelings even when she was right in front of him. I was really mad, when, through the story, I saw how Chase's girlfriends in high school were pretending to accept Addie as his best friend in front of him, but behind his back they were horrible and were bullying her. Which made her even more close off to Chase.

It did take a while for them to be together and there were some situations with Chase's previous girlfriend and a woman he slept with a couple of months before. Thanks to Monica and her friends, Addie had not only a physical, but also a spiritual transformation. This resulted in Chase seeing her for the first time, how beautiful she was and that more than anything he wanted to be with her.

Oh, my heart was beating quite fast with the good, spicy and heated love scenes Addie and Chase had. They were really good and I wasn't disappointed at all 🥵.

Overall, I really liked reading Chase and Addie's story.

Tropes:
childhood friends to lovers 🩷
opposites attract ✨
found family 🫶🏻
small town 🏘️

This book really suprised me in a good way! I enjoyed my reading experience and the “found family” aspect made it easy to read.

The story starts with Chase and Addie. They were childhood neighbors and instant best friends. Twenty years later, Chase and Addie are still thick as thieves but have certain secrets that they keep from each other…

He is a realtor in Colorado Springs by day and another persona by night. Addie wants to write stories with more spice but hasn’t got the experience yet to do that…

Thank you to Grey’s promo and Jennifer J. Williams for providing me with this copy. All opinions are my own.

love Chase and Addie

Chase and Addie have been friends for twenty years and recently Chase has noticed he is having different feelings for Addie. She secretly wants him also. They both have secrets from each other. Can they be together or with the secrets test them apart? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book. Love Chase and Addie and their character development was amazing. Great supporting characters. This book has all the feels. Angst, sarcasm, and the spice was so good. This is my first book by this author definitely not my last.

What a phenomenal read by Jennifer J. Williams. I throughly enjoyed Addie & Chase. I’m a very big fan of small town romance stories & this one definitely did not disappoint. Addie was so relatable as a character and I adored her so much. It definitely had spice & Steam & was a great romance story. These characters will definitely stay we me as the reader for awhile. It’s definitely a roller coaster of emotions that the reader will experience & feel with the characters. Great read.

Forever Together is a small town contemporary romance. It is book six of the Forever Series, but can be read as a standalone. It features a friends-to-lovers, an inexperienced neurodiverse heroine, found family, and a guaranteed Happily Ever After. Forever Together features sexually explicit material, profanity, and some content that may be triggering. This book is intended for readers 18+.

Thoughts: It was a very cute story. I enjoyed that it was different since it had a neurodiverse heroine. Jennifer did a great job of portraying her character intriguingly and admirably. The story kept you hooked all the way through, though I wouldn’t have minded a bit more book mood change throughout. This is the first book in the series that I read, and I would like to go back to read the rest in the series. Give it a chance, and let me know what you think!

What are great, great book!!

I this book we follow Addie & Chase as they have been best friends for 20 years but after Addie wanting to get some experience dating. Chase realises he really doesn't like that idea. It starts out as a 'teach me' scenario but by lesson 2 all feelings have been revealed.

This book shows the strength in having a relationship with a friend that accepts you for you; idiosyncrasies and all. The strength in a group of girlfriends that accept you and will help you grow and shine even brighter. But also the proof that no matter what diagnosies you have been labelled with; they don't make you you.

Addie is a strong character that I enjoyed reading about and watching her grow within herself. Chase was a bit of a manw***e who didn't know everything about his best friend because he never really stopped to focus on her instead of himself. But then realising he had not just had a crush on her but that he was in love with her.

I really enjoyed the step by step of Addie's introduction into intimacy. I loved all of the little funny parts that were scattered throughout the book. The character of the dog Guinness. Also, that it was Chase that fell first and was the one that had to explain his feelings for her. I also enjoyed the way that Jennifer J Williams spoke about the subjects of Autism, ADHD and Anxiety. The way she would be serious but then also joke about different parts because it showed Addie's growth.

I can't fault this book at all. If there were any editing issues I didn't see them. The characters were deep, the storyline was in depth and easy to follow. You didn't need to have read the rest of the Forever Series to know the characters. The scenes were an array of sexy, steamy to romantic and sensual. Not only that the model on the front matches the description of Chase.

I am glad that we got a very long Epilogue and it was all very detailed and unrushed.

This was my first Forever Series book and I'm definitely going to read the Eternity Series. Luca's family sound interesting.

A book I will be keeping in my Kindle Unlimited Library.

I probably should stop reading series from random positions. This is book 6 and finale of Forever Series.
And from what I've read I definitely need to know the other characters more.
This was the perfect Best Friends To Lovers.
Addie was so adorable and her character was written with so much precision and good knowledge of her condition. This book covers symptoms and conditions of Autism and ADHD.
What I loved even more was how her best friend Chase, didn't even notice all her quirks and somehow always knew how to help her with her problems. Like when she gets overwhelmed with noise or when she gets panic attacks with situations. He is the just the best.
These two became best friends from age 13 & 11. Both loved each other but thought it was unrequited.
So she stayed a virgin and he was the playboy.
I really enjoyed watching these two work around their emotions and feelings. How they connect and express their love. Guys it is the cutest ever. When she asks him to teach her, eeekkk. I was so giddy haha.
Both have a lot of secrets which needs addressing.
Oh and Monica and gang are absolutely fantastic and hilarious!!!! I loved Monica, I loved how they included Addie in their gang and gave her confidence to be the woman she is. How they knew how to approach subjects with her to understand or accept.
This book is wholesome with love, friendship, spice, a lot fun, exploring and adventure.

That epilogue 🥺. Was emotional and beautiful, Perfect ending.
I need to read all the others and also so excited about new series.

Favourite Quotes:

"How do you ask your male best friend to give you advice about s£x?"

"I control everything. Especially your orgasms. You don’t come unless I say so, Cookie.”

"Yeah, sweetheart. You’re mine. I just need to get you on board."

"We balance each other perfectly, baby. You are not less than me. I am more because of you.”

“I am nothing without you, Addie. I want us together. Always,”

Wow this had a very unique story line. What makes this unique is that one of the characters is an author that has disabilities which really made me feel even though I have a disability I can do it anything I set my heart on. So I loved this book from beginning to end. Jennifer Williams, this book was amazing and shows that if anyone has a disability you can do anything and this is just and example of her awesome work and I'll definitely be reading more of her books in the future.

Chase and Addie are best friends. Since the day Addie moved in across the road, they have been friends. Addie was the introverted book reading, keep to herself person, while Chase was the complete opposite. Outgoing, serial dater and loved his life.

Now they are grown up, Chase is a real estate agent, and Addie is a editor/writer. While Addie hasn’t told Chase about her writing, Chase hasn’t talked about the fact that his a dancer/stripper. And both of them have not shared their feelings for each other either.

Till the day Addie asks Chase to help her with some seduction tips. Especially as she wants to expand her writing to more spicy romances, and she doesn’t exactly have the experience. Are they ready for what is about to happen? Or will this affect their friendship past the point of fixing…

I loved Addie. She was definitely my type of person. I liked that she wasn’t perfect, I liked that she was brutally honest. Chase was so exciting. He never gave up on their friendship. Even when he was given the choice to give up Addie, he wouldn’t part with his best friend. Together they were a perfect fit. Chase accepted Addie exactly the way she was. And Addie the same with Chase.

Loved their story and definitely loved the characters. Especially the friends that Addie made along the way 😊

Chase and Addie have been best friends for twenty years and neither could imagine another person who knows them better - except for the parts of their lives they’ve been hiding, including their feelings for each other. Addie has never had another person so openly accept her and all her quirks, but she’s never seen herself as Chase’s type. Chase has always been the one to look out for Addie, and now he’s starting to realize he wants more from their relationship.

The found family in this series is such a driving element and I loved how readily the women welcomed Addie into their group and the way all of them cared for her! One thing that had me cheering for Chase’s character was how he made sure Addie was taken care of even when they were struggling. I found it a little challenging to buy in completely that they were able to keep such significant secrets from each other over that period of time and that neither of them had connected the dots earlier. Overall, this was light, enjoyable read!

Aww this was such an adorable conclusion to the series!!

Chase and Addie were so cute together from start to finish and really just worked well as both friends and lovers. They just understood each other and it made for a great read.

I enjoyed all of Addie’s “lessons”. Chase was a damn good teacher and the scene with the vibe at the start was HOT HOT HOT 🥵 This was definitely a straight down and dirty fastburn but I loved it.

I loved that we got to see all the girls again too and that they took Addie under their wing. I forgot just how unhinged Monica was as a character though 😂 but it made for a few good giggles.

Overall this was a really sweet, mildly spicy best friends to lovers to soulmates story and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I can’t wait to see what’s next from Jennifer J Williams!

I have to say I'm conflicted about this book. I have a neurodiverse child and honestly the way every character (other than Chase) treated Addie made me feel uncomfortable. They babied her and spoke to her like a child. With that in mind it found to hard to root for them sexing her up and sending her out to find a man.

However the relationship with Chase and Addie was lovely and there were some laugh out loud moments. I really liked the character of Chase although I think he could've been fleshed out more.

I was beginning to see a turning point in the book and was enjoying where it was going and then it just ended! 100% did not expect that to be the end of the book and it felt like there was so much more that could've been said. The epilogue was absolutely rammed full of information. As if the author was trying to make up for the abrupt ending but it just didn't work.

Thank you to @greyspromo and the author @authorjenniferjwilliams for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book has all the good things… friends to lovers, bedroom lessons, opposites attract, a small town, and an adorable group of friends.

Chase and Addie were the definition of opposites attract and I’m here for it. They were an unlikely pair and it reminded me of the grumpy sunshine trope a little while pushing the boundary into a more unique area. This was unlike most opposites attracts that I’ve read.

The secondary characters were great and the developing friendships were so endearing. Monica was just the best to Addie and I loved it.

What I didn’t love was all the secret keeping with the main characters who were best friends before lovers. They just hid too much from each for me personally to feel like this was a true best friend relationship. While I loved the unlikely pair, their personalities seemed too far apart to truly feel like best friends.

I loved that Chase was Addie’s protector a lot of the time but learned to recognize his faults. I adored Addie’s growth and the way the author represented her disabilities and her struggles with them.

Overall this book was a great wrap up to the series and really told a wonderful story. This releases on October 13th so be sure to read!

First off, I am OBSESSED with Addie (FMC) she's something quite special and I love her so much! Then there's Chase, he is so swoony and makes me melt with his words!! I adored both their characters right from the start. They are perfect as friends and lovers!! I simply loved everything about their chemistry and how they just got one another!!! I also love me a good bestie and Monica played that role with perfection!! Her character, as well as the rest of the crew, were the perfect touch to such a perfect story!!

Forever Together - the end of the Forever series!

Gosh, I’ve been reading this series from the beginning and watching these characters grow has been everything!

Addie and Chase had such a cute story. I loved watching their friendship start and then grow into something more later on!

Watching Addie find friendships with the other women in the series made me so happy!

The spice was spicy! And the couple got their HEA

Although this is the last book in a series, it's the only book from this author that I've read, so my review is based wholely on how this book reads as a standalone. I really enjoyed this story. I loved reading of a neuro-diverse character in such a positive way. I loved the quirkiness of all of the characters, but mostly I loved the way that Chase loved Addie. Great read of love and friendship.

This is my first read from this author and and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read the other books in the series but it wasn’t hard to follow. I probably will be going back to read them. The other characters were pretty unforgettable, I now need to know their stories. I liked Chase for the most part. However is it that the man knows so much about Addie but is still clueless about other things that relates to her, I will never know.

Sizzle, Sizzle, hot, a small town, best friends to lovers story that is one of those epics that you actually feel as if you are there, that is how good the scene setting is with Forever Together, the 6th book in the series and Jennifer J Williams has delivered another unforgettable couple, I loved how Chase's second job is going to make him the teacher to help his best friend Addie out, and boy does it heat the sheets, but what I adored most was seeing this couple finally giving in to the feelings they always had a perfect HEA.

I fell in love with Addie, Chase, and this story immediately. I love a good small-town romance and this one checked all the boxes for me. Chase and Addie are the true definition of opposites attract, and I loved it so much. They are also perfect for each other as both friends and lovers. I loved their chemistry, the spice, and everything about them and their story.

I loved Addie and Chase and their friendship turned love story. I loved how the gals brought her into the fold and came to her defence no matter what. And Chase… oh Chase… you messed up but at least you redeemed yourself and manned up!!
This was a fluffier story than the rest of the series but it was such a lovely finale for this group of friends.

A wonderful end to this series!!

I was wondering who Chase would end up, but of course I didn’t know about Addie!! I love their friendship and how it grew into romance. Chase was such a great friend and support to Addie. He always seemed to know what she needed even though he messed things up here and there. I’m so glad they got there happily ever after.

this was a great friends-to-lovers small-town romance with a neurodivergent vcard heroine with a secret identity and her male best friend that she's going to ask to help her out with that predicament. Will they be able to fight off the mutual attraction they've felt but haven chosen to ignore in fear of losing their friendship? Will the hero's secret be a dealbreaker?
