Tabitha Andersson was ready to fall in love. She had the perfect dress to wear to her brothers wedding and a plan to make the guy she’d been secretly pining over since she was a teenager fall in love with her. They were going to live Happily Ever After… It didn't matter that he might not know she existed. He was “the one.” She just knew it. Then he didn’t show up. Determined not to waste the perfect dress she goes out looking for fun and instead finds Nick, a man with green eyes, a guitar and a voice that sounds like what love feels like. What started as one last fling before summer ends could become the one she's been looking for her whole life, but miscommunications and secrets have her head spinning to the point that she doesn’t even feel like herself anymore. When the biggest secret of all ruins everything she thought they were building she starts to wonder what the point of it all was and if she’ll ever find The One.
LOVED this book! So sweet, the characters are simply wonderful! Starts out with the perfect amount of slow burn leading into the perfect amount of spice!
Tabitha was such a a relatable character. From the tequila to the music, I related to her in every way. She was looking for "the one" and when Nick came into her life, she fell hard.
I predicted what was coming and boy was it heartwrenching. The Kindle was slammed down several times while cursing the characters. Like come on.
The writing style will not be for everyone. The pace of the book is not consistent. There were a few times I was happy it went from 0 to 100 and than other times where I felt I wanted more detail.
Overall, the relationship was relatable and there was a HEA. This was a fun read for me. One where I didn't want to critically analyze. I enjoyed the story and I will definitely be reading the author's backlist because I need more of these characters.
3.5 ⭐️ SUCH a cute story! I loved the chemistry between both characters. I do feel like we could have had a little more into Nicks backstory and his upbringing. I felt like we learned so much about Tabitha but not so much about Nick. Also would have loved to have more about Sarah and Eric, only because the author did make a point to ask Sarah about names, come to find out she did have a baby girl but what was the baby’s name? Just some loose ends I wish were tied up!

4.5⭐️ Tabitha has had a crush on her brother’s best friend who lives in another state for years. When she meets Nick, she learns what being in a reciprocated relationship is like. But things with Nick might be too good to be true. This is a quick read. I enjoy reading about people with regular jobs and all the characters in this book are believable and likable.
I could not put this book down. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized who was involved in this book. But again Tracey gives you the perfect blend of lust, heartbreak and spice. Another very well told story.
I got sucked in right away and couldn’t put this book down! I finished it in one day. The way Tracey writes I felt like I could perfectly picture Nick with his green eyes and I was obsessed! The end left me wanting more!!!

Devoured this book, just like the rest of Tracey’s work! I do need to know why / how she was able to walk away during the first hook up, because I was literally screaming into the book for her to stay. We just love when a hot book loving musician rolls into town, it gave the perfect amount of lust, fate, romance, but also frustration, confusion, tension. I think I need an Emma, the ex wife or Leo storyline, please!
