How Cute….I enjoyed this low angst contemporary instant romance….I hope we can get Cherrell’s story….I’m sure she has something to talk about.
2nd read was the newly released audiobook narrated by Winston James & Ebony Ford.

Iyoni was too damn old to be so indecisive. I want him. I don’t want him. I want him. I don’t want him. I want him. I don’t want him but, I don’t want him to want anyone else. Even her besties had to check her about her indecisive behavior. Now, mind you, Kyce didn’t make the best first best impression to alleviate Iyoni’s indecisiveness. My dude was angry and bitter about the trade his former team blindsided him with so, he came in hot and heavy with the rude behavior when he and Iyoni were first introduced. But, once Kyce gets out of his feelings and was able to find the blessing in his new start, he was all over Iyoni. Literally! Kyce went from zero to a hundred real quick. He was all in and ready to claim Iyoni and Kamani as his own. She just had to get out of her own way and stop comparing him to her exes. When I say I loved me some Kyce, I loved me some Kyce. He was charming, loving, protective, patient, and he was top tier stepdaddy material. Fumble. Pass. Repeat was the perfect sports romance. It was sweet, sexy, and romantic. This book is why T’Lyn is quickly moving to the top of my fave authors list.

Kyce is my man, my man!! Imagine you’re the face of your NFL team. You win championships for the city, put blood, sweat, and tears into the game- only to be blindsided and traded to a team that is basically rebuilding. That is where Kyce found himself. He thought he would retire as the Quarterback for the Chicago Bears. He is not happy about being the second string Quarterback for the Cresent Falls Sharks. Upon his arrival to the city, Kyce is pissed and I totally understood his frustration. When he met Iyoni, he was not nice to her- but it was more so displaced anger. He belittled her but listen, that was a front!! Iyoni matched Kyce’s energy, she didn’t allow him to talk crazy to her. Iyoni is the team’s liaison, a single mother, and the one person who stole Kyce’s heart. While the two didn’t have the best introduction, they quickly fell for each other. Kyce was so smitten with Iyoni, he had to reach her through e-mail! I know that’s right, sir, get it by any means necessary!

Both characters had questionable relationships with their parents. I liked the way Kyce handled his parents because they were too worried about what he could do for them instead of comforting him. SMH! Not only did Kyce handle his parents, he took care of Iyoni’s, as well. We Stan a father and a protector!! Whew! I think the girls will love Kyce, but he is *mine* mkay! One things for certain and two things for sure, T’Lyn is going to to write a man with BDE and Kyce is HIM! Also, I wouldn’t be opposed to knowing more about Sincere because my man’s was humbled by Kyce..! This was a good book!

Last play , the best play.
I heard getting a action 👅 on the first day , locks you in . Truly the case with Kyce Iyoni.
Pissed off from being traded Kyce wasn’t into playing any games outside of the field. Once he got his hands on Iyoni ,he was like listen I want you, I know you want me so let’s make a family lol .
Iyoni being put off by previous relationships wasn’t looking for anything new. Even though she was put off by Kyce rude demeanor , that was quickly changed. I was screaming GET YOUR MAN sis !!! But no of course Iyoni was out here playing hard to get. She was working my nerves lol , he was attentive, compassionate and giving out amazing orgasms.

The Trade-Off
The trade off that Kyce received after landing in Crescent Falls were better than any contract he ever signed. The Chicago Bears may have been sneaky and decided to let Kyce go but their underhanded move brought him happiness. Kyce met Iyoni which became the love of his life. He got to experience happiness in another form besides running a play on the field. Him and Iyoni started on the wrong foot but eventually the gap closed between the two of them. Iyoni needed a real man in her life to show her all the unconditional love she and Kamani deserved. Jeffrey and Sincere both were one in the same because their love for her was non-existent. They were more of a pain in the behind and a headache then anything else. They also changed her trust in men. Kyce was quite persistent and determined to break down the walls Iyoni had built up from her past relationships. He was all man and took on the responsiblilty of father figure a role that Kamani needed in his life. Kyce only major issue was his parents. I am still trying to figure out when do parents automatically retire themselves and force their child to take care of them. Kyce's father was so docile that I don't even want to call him a real man. He was submissive to his wife versus the other way around. Once Kyce put his foot down and put his parents in their place his personal life changed for the better. His parents was so disrespectful that they brought his ex around as if Kyce was still dating her. Parents has to learn when your child lets go, you let go as well no matter how much you like that person. Unfortunately, Iyoni parents was not any better because who tries to get their grandchild adopted without permission from the mother. Iyoni had friends that was close enough to be called her siblings. And Kyce had his twin sister, Kayla, that went hard in the paint for him. So between their friends and sibling they were able to navigate the foolishness of their parents. Kyce finally gained more than a championship ring when he became a player for the Sharks, he obtained a family of his own. The trade to Crescent Falls were ten times better than playing in Chicago.
Ms. T'Lyn this book grabbed my attention as soon as I started reading chapter one. Kyce and Iyoni's story wasn't a fairytale that for sure but they managed to become one. Kyce giving Kamani adoption papers at his hall of fame induction was everything. If you are looking for a story that will have you fullly engaged this is it especially if you are into football.

Fumble Pass Repeat is an easy to read sports romance. Kyce and Iyoni got off to a rocky start so I thought we’d tap into a little enemies to lovers, but they weren’t mad at each other long enough to qualify for that. If not instalove, it was definitely microwave love. Once Kyce got over his attitude about being traded, he was ON Iyoni and applied steady pressure until he got the desired result. There was just enough tension and disagreement to make them feel like an authentic couple. This was an easy, satisfying read with a great HEA. I like it in Crescent Falls, I think I might stay awhile.

Kyce had been a QB for the Chicago Bears, his hometown team for years and woke up to randomly be traded to the Sharks. He was pissed and his funky attitude seeped into him meeting Iyoni, the Shark's team liaison. He was rude and she wanted to keep him at arms length. However, that didn't last long at all because Kyce was with the ish and began applying all types of pressure 😜. Iyoni with her wishy washy azz was nerve wracking...she liked him, but was scared to be with him, but didn't want any anyone else to have him 😒. Childish!!! Eventually Kyce gets her on board with allowing him to love both her and her son. He was an elite step daddy and I was here for it. The journey to love was at the forefront with the Sports theme just enough in the background. I definitely enjoyed this read.

I had such a great time reading this sports romance! The banter between Iyoni and Cherell was absolutely hilarious; their conversations felt so real and brought back some wonderful memories for me. I loved seeing how some relationships transformed from rocky beginnings to positive ones through growth and maturity. It would be amazing if more people could talk things out and work through their differences like that. The story really came full circle, and I ended up feeling so satisfied with how it all turned out!

Got me crying on a Tuesday morning before work (happy tears) giving that boy them papers had me 🥹
Every character was relatable, even Jeffery's deadbeat ass!
Kyce was definitely “MyMan x3” he gave “Grown man” for 99% he was definitely childish the 1% of this book. The way he fit so perfectly into the stepfather role 🤌🏾
Iyoni’s smart mouth was everything not taking shit from the beginning to end of this book, it was short but I loved this couples overall growth.

This was my first read by this author and I loved it. Kyce and Iyoni were so cute together. I loved how she naturally submitted to him not out of fear or because he made her but out of love and respect. He allowed her to be in her soft girl season with him and I loved that for her. Their introduction may have been a little rocky but Kyce applied pressure and was determined to get his girl. I loved how Kyce stepped up for Iyoni and Kamani and gave them unconditional love. I highly recommend this cute sports romance and I’m looking forward to exploring this authors catalogue to see if I can find another gem to read.

I loved everything about this read! Kyce got hit with some unexpected news and had to start new. Iyoni was working to make sure her son wanted for nothing. The two of them meeting didn’t go quite well the first time but I’m glad Kyce didn’t let up on her. Iyoni was a little annoying but I’m glad she worked on it lol. T’Lyn has a way of pulling you into a story without making you feel like you missed anything, yet still wrapping it up in a way that’s complete—while leaving you wishing it never ended.

I am still wiping tears. I never saw this coming. I was a tad bit upset as a sports fan I didn’t get to be petty and read about them beating the team that traded Kyce. Anyway this was a real good one. Loved all of it. Too bad his mother had to be so petty but she got what she deserved along with the ex. Iyoni was such a great mother. She deserved Kyce and more. Good characters for this good book!

Loved the love story of Kyce and Iyoni, from disastrous first meeting to beautiful ending. Kyce’s Mom was so petty, but got what she deserved. Great sweet romance with minimum chaos and all drama handled expeditiously.

Came here from @readnliftwithshar’s review and since i’m a fan of T’Lyn and sports romances, I couldn’t wait to read this one. One thing T’Lyn will do, is write a male character with BDE that don’t play about his woman. Kyce was everything! I’m so glad that Iyoni stopped overthinking and gave him a chance. This book was short, but still leaves you satisfied.

This was a great read with well written characters. I was just a little disappointed in Iyonla character. She was not as strong as I would have liked. I don’t like to do spoilers but when he was jealous it was ok but when she became jealous he talked crazy to her and she apologized too much. Never beg😏

God provides lessons, reasons and seasons. Everyone that we cross paths with aren’t always meant to be in our lives forever or isn’t our friend or significant partner. Forgiveness is healing especially forgiving yourself for holding onto past hurts not walking through your future and keep looking or picking up from your past.

Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it.
There were definitely swoon moments. But the pacing was all over the place, didn’t really feel like the connection between the two was established. Especially not before ILYs were exchanged. And the parental stuff was weird and for me didn’t flow well. It was like unnecessary drama.
Again, didn’t hate it… just meh.

This was a good read i’m so glad that Iyoni was able to get off her high horse and go with the flow because Kyce was everything out the gate.. J love a man that knows what he wants and go after his family… I hated the parents they were horrible… There is something special about Crescent Falls and the Sharks that I can’t get enough of and I can’t wait for more

The way Kyce and Iyoni started was hilarious
Kyce parents are terrible. Glad his sis isn’t part of the greedy train.
Why is Jeffrey such a horrible man and father
Oh Kyce mom is out of line and so is serenity
Kyce was jealous of Vik and intentionally tried to make Iyoni jealous of Kyla when she didn’t know that was his twin, yet he’s tripping mad hard about her reaction to Serenity. First him acting like he didn’t know his parents were trash and didn’t discuss her going to the box with them and not trying to find out what happened up there to acting high mad might and beneath the drama, really pissed me off.
He acted real immature to not speak for days and I hate that her friend was pushing her to still go to him after she’s reached out multiple times. He don’t do the insecure shit yet he was tripping over Vik even after she told him it wasn’t like that that her best friend and wife had to explain why they are close like family. This whole interaction soured me on him because it was turned into 100% her fault. He didn’t apologize for his behavior.
Ok I’m over my beef with Kyce. He handled Jeffrey all the way correct on every interaction. And he did what need to be done the next time his mom and serenity tried to play in Iyoni’s face.
I respect how Kyce acknowledges that Iyoni and Kamani are a package deal. And how much he looks out for lil man especially how trash his pops is.

Kyce was jealous of Vik and intentionally tried to make Iyoni jealous of Kyla when she didn’t know that was his twin, yet he’s tripping mad hard about her reaction to Serenity. First him acting like he didn’t know his parents were trash and didn’t discuss her going to the box with them and not trying to find out what happened up there to acting high mad might and beneath the drama, really pissed me off.
He acted real immature to not speak for days and I hate that her friend was pushing her to still go to him after she’s reached out multiple times. He don’t do the insecure shit yet he was tripping over Vik even after she told him it wasn’t like that that her best friend and wife had to explain why they are close like family. This whole interaction soured me on him because it was turned into 100% her fault. He didn’t apologize for his behavior.
Ok I’m over my beef with Kyce. He handled Jeffrey all the way correct on every interaction. And he did what need to be done the next time his mom and serenity tried to play in Iyoni’s face.
I respect how Kyce acknowledges that Iyoni and Kamani are a package deal. And how much he looks out for lil man especially how trash his pops is.

cute sports romance
Cute story, developed fast. Some of the timing with the male lead character career didn’t line up. Also details and the realism of this being a professional football team were quite loose. I’m a football girlie so I wanted to love it, but the details were lacking. I listened to this while reading, so the narration brought the story to life and that’s likely why I finished the book. Winston James makes everything better!
