I had no idea what kind of plot I was getting myself into lol.

This was a hard read, ngl. Not sure I’d recommend it? However, I feel like it did a good job at describing trauma & the ups and downs of a healing journey.

I had multiple moments where the timeline was unrealistic and it kind of threw me for a loop, but just took it as it was.

I actually hate Ron- I love a fic where we can bash him but I actually hate him. This was a hard read.

Hermione’s relationship with Draco was tender, as she learned to trust someone.

You KNOW I love when Draco is a dad- little Scorpius was everything and more.

Draco is daddy as always, but not sure I love how quickly we moved from 0-100 when Hermione clearly has more healing to do…? Idk. It worked for her, but it felt off.

I feel like I want to give it 3 stars but bc I actually couldn’t put it down and inhaled it, I gave it another for it’s creating writing.

Okay this does have triggering and difficult aspects to it so be aware of it but it was also a beautiful story of healing from trauma and self worth and finding your own family.I enjoyed it and I also have been on pregnancy trope phase so 🙃

I want to start this review off same as I do always when reviewing Fan Fiction on Goodreads by saying that I understand the controversy around reviewing fanfic on good reads but it’s the only place I log my reading, so this is for personal looking back only.

This fic was quite hard to rate. The fic itself is good, however, personally, I don't really love Dramione FF that isn't conducive to their canon characters. So whist in this, Draco had a dominant/possessive side, it wasn't a main trait more like a side trait and Hermione's character again, had snippets come through but isn't the damsel in distress that is described in the Fic. I think I would have loved it more if it was a Harry/Pansy fic or a Theo/Astoria fic but I DOOOOOO LOVE ME SOME RON BASHING and this was some of the best I have read. It did help that he was an absolute c**t in this though

⭐️⭐️.3 | hermione was being absolutely abused in this and i forsome reason can’t take hermione being a victim of abuse seriously because her characterisation clashes with that but the fact that ron made her take a unbreakable vow never to leave him on harry’s life was so much more believable. the relationship between draco and hermione was so good up until they got together like im cringed out AND bored. the first time he fucked her was soooo crazy to me bc how are you calling her a whore and a slut off the bat and yk what she’s been through..awkward. also couldn’t take the whole astoria portrait seriously like why u seeking validation or getting angry AT a portrait?? she dead mate. And the whole using the resurrection stone to talk to ron from the dead soooo stuoid.
