Another rollercoaster of a story! It was very interesting to get Paul's backstory, and I was left curious from TDO as to what happened to him once he abandoned his family. I was a bit shocked as to how dark his story ended up. Obviously, I didn't know what to expect, but that was not how I imagined his running off with one of his students. In the future, I'd love to hear more about what happened to Claire once Adrian left. It would be amazing if Claire and Steph's paths somehow crossed.

In Rutland, we travel back in time and follow the life of Paul Thompson. He is the father of Adrien Thompson (from The Dark One). From start to finish, this book is MADNESS! If you've read The Dark One, then you know how part 3 was action-packed. That's how RUTLAND is from the first page to the last.
