Witch Cozy Mystery 17-Book Set was a great read by Amelia Morgan. This book consists of; The Witches of Enchanted Bay; Ax to Grind; Killer Twist; A Bewitching Murder; A Riddle of a Murder; The Nuts and Bolts of Murder; Strangling Ambition; Therapy Can Be Murder; Sick of Murder; Hexes and Other Hairy Situations; Horrible Halloween Hazards; Witches, Werewolves, and Murder; Hectic Halloween Hijinks; Murder, Magic, and Mousse...; An Enchanted Bay Wedding; Wacky Witches and Haunted Houses; and Witches, Hoaxes, and Halloween Homicide. The Witches of Enchanted Bay (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #1) by Amelia Morgan was a great read. Enchanted Bay is a beautiful small town in Northern California. To most people it's just a beautiful small town, but it has a secret not everyone knows about. Meg is a witch and her old crush returns to town. Unfortunately, a murder also occurs. I enjoyed reading Meg and Connor finding the murderer. Ax to Grind (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #2) by Amelia Morgan was another great read in the series. Just as Meg starts getting comfortable in her routine again, another murder happens. I have absolutely loved reading Meg and Connor's search for the killer. Killer Twist (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #3) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg finds herself investigating another murder in Enchanted Bay. Unfortunately, this murder hits too close to home, one of her dear friends is murdered. A Bewitching Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #4) by Amelia Morgan was a great quick read. Another murder happens too close to home for Meg. Her old friend Paige died in Los Angeles. Meg goes out to Los Angeles in order to prove that Paige was murdered and did not commit suicide. A Riddle of a Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #5) by Amelia Morgan was a great read. Enchanted Bay has seen increased murder cases. This time the close friend of Meg's mother is found murdered. The Nuts and Bolts of Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #6) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg thinks that her sleuthing days are over but she is sorely mistaken. This time her neighbor Walter is murdered. Her and Walter search for his murderer. Strangling Ambition (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #7) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. This book was another great read about Meg and Connor looking for a murderer in the small town of Enchanted Bay. Therapy Can Be Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #8) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg finds herself investigating another murder in her small town of Enchanted Bay. Sick of Murder was a good quick read by Amelia Morgan. Meg's boyfriend Connor, who is a detective, gets sick with the flu right before a murder happens in Enchanted Bay. Meg has to catch the killer herself since Connor is bed ridden. I really enjoyed reading about Meg trying to crack the case of the murder. Hexes and Other Hairy Situations was a great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg is a witch who has a ton of spells at her disposal. She wishes that she could change the past but none of her spells will do that. She would also love to forget the fact that her father walked out on her mother when she was pregnant with Meg. Unfortunately, Meg’s father shows up to Enchanted Bay one day and she doesn’t trust why he is there. Horrible Halloween Hazards was another great quick read by Amelia Morgan. Meg was hoping for a fun and carefree Halloween but two paroled convicts make that not a reality. This was another great read following Meg and her detective boyfriend. Witches, Werewolves, and Murder was another good read by Amelia Morgan. Meg discovers that there may be a cure for her fiancé’s werewolf curse. Conor gets excited about the opportunity to use a spell to rid himself of the werewolf curse. Unfortunately, there could be a deadly consequence for the spell. Murder, Magic, and Mousse was a good read by Amelia Morgan. Meg has powers as a witch and has always used hers for good. But not all witches are like her. There is an evil witch who just arrived in Enchanted Bay and they're looking to exact revenge. An Enchanted Bay Wedding was a good read by Amelia Morgan. Meg Walton feels as though she has waited a long time to get married. She starts to get a weird gut feeling on the morning of her wedding, and feels as though it is a sign of things to come. Wacky Witches and Haunted Houses was a good read by Amelia Morgan. Meg Walton is looking to buy a house with her husband. But it quickly turns into a haunted house nightmare for her. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Disappointing

I got the feeling that these were short stories that had been padded out. There were so many text errors, I stopped reporting them. There were plot errors and a variety of other mistakes. A serious writer undertakes research, even for fantasy books. Just to make stuff up with no basis is lazy. To not check back with your one books for James and continuity is unforgivable.
I always finish something I have started reading but it was very hard with this box set.
The characters were hollow, the plotlines thin and descriptions of locations lacking.
If these are the writers first ever attempts, I suggest more practice before going into print again. Not an author I will be reading in the future.

A magical cozy bundle!

Meg comes from a long line of witches, which can really come in handy if you run a donut shop or are trying to solve a murder. Her talking cat grandmother, police detective boyfriend, and an abundance of small-town characters give the stories interesting elements and plots. Sometimes the endings are a little “wham, bam, thank you ma’am” but the books are light and entertaining. I really enjoy this series. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

clarity thru magic

The main characters are super likable, rooting for Meg and Conner to succeed, not just as detectives but as a couple. Loved Penelope, the grandmother/cat and her obsession with food. What a twist, when Meg discovers her boyfriend is a werewolf. Kept my interest, so much so that I be getting read the entire series. Would love to see a series with her new friend Pamela and/or Elizabeth and possible paramour s.

Proof reader required!

Started off quite well, nice introduction to mabin characters with an interesting storyline. Next couple of books were ok. After that it seemed the author was rushing towards the finish of each book, words missed, grammar at times was poor. The most strange thing was after the couple were married, and yet she was suddenly only his girlfriend!!!
You need to read your own work through and even get an honest friend to also read before you go to print.

Cute stories

This author has a plethora of one liners to share and spare, she also did a great job fleshing out the characters in each book. While there were a few problems with the editing it did not detract from the stories and storylines. If you have a few hours to kill this is a pleasant and often corny way to spend them. Nice work Ms. Morgan.

fun read

The situations were believable. To pick a person was guess work. Talking cats is always a good way to keep the imaginary person in the debone of things.
