This was a pretty good volume. After Kawaki Arc, we finally turn to Code, the only remaining member of Kara. Code plans to get revenge because he worships Isshiki as a god and the heroes want to eliminate him for obvious reasons. I love Kawaki's character development and though I like Amado, he still feels very shady. I'm not really sure yet but the new characters Eida and Daemon look interesting. Boruto's future is unclear, Kawaki does not know what to do, Code and the others are strong, Naruto and Sasuke got nerfed. There are lots of things going on and I'm curious to see what happens next.

- Code's unique ability is he can travel freely using Claw Marks. There are reports on sighting of Claw Marks outside the wall of Konoha.
- Amado is doing something for Konoha. Kawaki is in doubt as he seems not accepted by Konoha people. But, Naruto and his family accept him.
- Kawaki and Boruto being watched everyday by Konoha Jounin. Kawaki self-learned on how to erase his chakra signature. He can do so because he is already an Ohtsutsuki. Kawaki managed to slip away from the surveillance and heading outside Konoha.
- Code used the opportunity to approach Kawaki. They have a fight and Kawaki get beaten. Kawaki begs to Code to not harm Konoha. Leave them alone and kill him. Code said that he inherited Ohtsutsuki's will and exacting revenge toward Konoha is the first step.
- Code wants to bring Kawaki to see Eida but Boruto appears to save Kawaki. Boruto vs Code. Code activates his White Karma. According to Code, when someone activates Karma, the person will become stronger. It is because all Ohtsutsuki's battle experiences accumulate in mind.
Now that Kishimoto has written the volumes past 13, I’m more invested than I was and it’s sucking me in.
Kawaki is officially part of the family and Naruto called him, “my stupid son.” That’s a joke for all Naruto fans.
I like that Naruto is around more than before. But, please… him not knowing Baruto would run off is bullshit.
I love the Karma tattoos.
“Do you know why you get drastically stronger when you activate Karma? Increased power and speed from improved physical ability is certainly a major factor. But that alone wouldn’t result in such an exponential jump in battle strength. The real reason lies elsewhere, with Karma’s true essence. Which is that the Otsutsuki’s combat experience accumulated over millennia gets overlaid unpon your own mind and body. That’s why you get stronger. In short, you become a seasoned warrior. If you’re able to draw on Karma properly, that is.”
“I won’t let Lord Seventh die! Even if it costs me my own life!”
“…at the same time, it’s my right to protect you. Right bro?”
This volume proves to be one of the more exciting volumes as Kawaki reasons within himself that the only way that he can put a stop to things is to go out and meet Code himself. He does so by fooling Boruto initially and also the shinobi who are tasked with watching him and Boruto. I found it interesting because at first it seemed as if Boruto would go along with his plan, but considering how tight they are now and how he sees him as a brother, he wants to protect him and doesnt let him have his way. Fortunately he chases after him, when he catches on and he alerts his dad about it.
On the other end we have a fantastic fight scene with Boruto and Kawaki versus Code, leading to a pretty thrilling final few pages. Code has a cool jutsu for attacks and basically teleportation, and it is fun to see.
This was such a cool volume to read again like you get to see the character development of Kawaki here and I love the moments between him and Naruto, especially when he calls him.. his son, and yeah I teared up.. it was so well done and then the tensions and all happen, the coming of Code happens and whatever Kawaki planned may not have worked, so you have two of them fight until the main man Boruto comes in and after that the story will evolve into the next big arc! So like I said, a lot of character stuff in the beginning and then building upto the big villain fight and its only get more intense and interesting from here on out, also I am loving the way they just amplified the threat and the reveal in the end was so worth the wait!!
I had to read this volume before volume 15 because I couldn't get 15 in time before my ARC of 16 expired. I definitely missed something.
Boruto is squirming under the watchful eye of the intelligence ninja. Kawaki is feeling like he doesn't belong. He runs away to confront Code only to find out that he isn't a target. #Edelweiss+
4/5. Kawaki acting like YOUNG Naruto and going off on his own. Naruto calling Kawaki his other son. Boruto always there to help his brother. This volume had action, love, tragedy. All of it. I just wish Kawaki was a tad brighter with his decision making

This series has been quite good right from the start. I am liking the new generation of characters, the older characters, the new baddies, the back-and-forth as some characters' motivations remain questionable... but also and especially Naruto forever being Naruto.
code's really cool LMAO SRRY. also its just so heartwarming to see the uzumaki fam welcome kawaki :( and they way he's ready to do anything for the seventh :( i love found family trope!
Loved the character exploration in here. The volume was all about setting up Code and Eida’s invasion, but Kawaki’s growth is also shown. It was meaningful enough for three shining stars.
