Also not a bosshole!
Read 2: I’m lowering this one to five stars. It just lacked that certain something that warrants five stars. Again, Levi is a golden retriever not a bosshole! The slander of this series name is outrageous lol

This is the second book in the billionaire bosshole series and once again I am offended for the hero! Levi is NOT a bosshole lol. He’s sweet and a bit awkward with the single minded focus of getting Pia to be his forever.
Pia is so desperate for a job that she gets caught up in a lie about who she is and the guilt from lying to Levi is eating her up. She has family to take care of but she just can’t lie to him anymore and makes a run for it.
Fortunately for her, Levi isn’t going to give her up.
A sweet boss romance.

Better than the first book. I read it with dread because in the first book the heroine is a cheating, selfish bitch who kissed whom she thought was another man, rubbing on him like a bitch in heat. It ended up being the H Adrien, but she did not know that. So Shaw Hart now has cheating in her repertoire. (Yes, Shaw Hart, I did not forget you are no longer a safe author and back stabbed your readers in book 1. Postponing the release of this book did not change things or make us forget!)
This book had a sympathetic heroine and a sweet hero and you root for them.

No OW (there is a nasty woman who comes up to Pia and tells her she knows that Pia is sleeping her way to the top. That nasty woman lies to her saying that Levi fired his last assistant for that reason. The last assistant was in her 60's so she doubted it. Pia gets doubts in her mind if Levi told her the truth that there were no women until her, and so why her? He is good looking, smart, a sweetheart, attentive and billionaire. So how has he not been interested in women until her and again, why her. That is the catalyst to her retreating away from Levi.)

So this is the story of Pia who has a sick friend Lila (they have been friends since diapers and Pia is a very loyal, devoted friend to her.) She is trying to work a better job to pay for new treatments so she chances her luck on Levi's company. He asks her name, and she says it, then he says she is hired. When she leaves he calls her by another name in the list of applicants. She realizes that he thinks that a person with a better resume got the job and Levi thinks its her. With the fake it til you make it attitude, drowning in a guilty conscious, she leaves, thinking this is all to save her bestie.
Levi is smitten and Adrien (the hero we all love from book 1 who deserved better than that bitch Goldie), is there to witness his friend fall in love. With a knowing smile he leaves Levi to his new feelings and Levi is determined to make Pia his without delay! Fuck the boss/employee rules! YES! I love it! Go all caveman on her Levi!! That is an alpha I know and love. He finds ways to make their relationship legal by having her sign documents. There is a scene in the elevator that is both sweet and sexy, without sex, and yet it was so hot to me!
So he asks her out, takes her out to eat, does not hide his feelings. She feels guilty that she lied to him so she quits, with a formal letter and he hurries to her apartment to talk to her, not knowing at all what went wrong. Lila answers the door and tells him she is sleeping, so the next day with determination he goes back there to talk and it is so much better than that same scene we get in the last book. In this one, she is feeling guilty having lied to Levi and scared that he will hate her, so she just lets the truth out, and his reaction.....throws his head back with a guttural laugh!! He tells her that he fell in love from the moment he saw her and that he did not hire her based on her resume, he hired her because he wanted her near him. He assures her that she did not steal a job from anyone and Pia is so relieved.
Nothing like this can make him angry at her, and I am so glad that he reacted to her that way. They say their I love you's, she is relieved and she promises that everything else was the truth, which of course he believes and he asks her why she felt like she had to lie. She says that it was to make good money for her bestie's leukemia treatments. He assures her that he will take care of her and that means those she loves as well, that includes Lila's medical needs. (Lila gets a book on Valentines Day 2024).
I enjoyed it, I would have enjoyed it more had I not lost all faith in Shaw Hart. The first book in the series made me lose trust in her so I read this book with trepidation. It did ruin it a bit, because the first book's heroine was fucking awful, so I thought, when will the shoe drop with this one.
This one is safe, and sweet. We get Adrien and Theo and Clara. They are a hoot. No visit from the cheating whore Goldie (h from first book), GOOD! KEEP HER AWAY!! She would have ruined this story just from appearing.
I love Levi, he is a sweet, loving, passionate, attentive man who is fully committed to his Pia and wastes no time wooing her. I love that! I love Pia, we get a heroine who is loyal and hardworking. That shows a lot about her character that she is willing to take risks for her bestie. Loyalty is a very precious trait in a person AND she is selfless. She did lie by omission, but not because she is selfish and an opportunist, but she did it for her best friend. When she started to fall in love, which was immediate, she felt guilty right away! She did not want to lose Levi or Lila and so she was just in a situation that was difficult. I do like Pia a lot and felt for her,and rooted for their happily ever after!
Theo and Clara are next, I think it is another dual virgin, beauty and the beast, sunshine and the grump type of book, and I am looking forward to it, but scared that the hero who pushes away too much will do something the hurt the h. It is just a feeling, but we shall see. I hope not though. I hope Theo gets his head out of his ass and claims Clara.

Pia needs a job to support herself and her sick best friend, so when her new employer thinks she is someone else she won't correct him and so she gets the job. Levi sees the new hire and is instantly obsessed and he knows she is his One. Now he just has to convince her that he is hers and that he would do everything to make her feel safe, happy and loved. Instalove, boss/employee, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe (for me it was dual virgins 🥰) with an awesome HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍😍

Pia and Levi’s story is super sweet. She goes for an interview really needing this job, not knowing when she meets Levi her world is about to change. Levi was barely awake for interviews until Pia walks in, instant connection. Now he just has to make her his, forever, without scaring her away.

Okayyyy so it's Levi's turn 😄
I do enjoy the camaraderie between Adrien, Levi, and Theo as their antics in the building do make the series a little more entertaining and fleshes out their characters a little bit more. Plus we see some characters from the previous book in the series.

Adrien is bored at work and comes down from his floor to help Levi sort through candidates and witnesses their little insta-obsession meet cute. The only problem is that he mistakenly reads the wrong resume name and thinks she's someone named Nichole.
Pia's bestie Lila is terminally ill so she needs this job and it's benefits so she doesn't correct him because she doesn't want to run the risk of seeming unqualified and having to venture out into the competitive job market. Amusing disasters of mistaken identity ensue.
It's all very ridiculous and silly but seriously what job doesn't ask for your social security number or your ID when they make you sign a NDA, non compete, and employment verification forms. All of those have to be notarized too?? Hello?? 😂
Anyway it was amusing watching Levi act like an adorable golden retriever and a very love sick sweetheart while Pia is just trying to tread water and get her best friend her life saving surgery.

At least one half of the Hart duo loves disrespectful manwhore heroes or heroes who are cruel and indifferent to their heroines while the other likes to write respectful and at least half decent men as their heroes but it's really hard to trust them still since we never get a clear picture which one is doing the writing.

These books are short Novella's with Romance and some steam.. [I would give this book 3.5 stars but the friendships are awesome in this book so i am going to give the book 4 stars]
This book follows Levi and Pia.. You will find Workplace, Boss/Assistant Romance, Forced Proximity and more
Levi works a lot with his two best friends.. He is a billionaire and is very close to his two best friends.. He hire's a new assistant because he needs one and also because he fell for her the min she walked though the door.. He works out ways to get her alone so he can ask her out which is sweet but he also will not give up until she is in his life for good.. He is pissed when he sees a email for her saying she quits but does not tell him why which makes him a bit grumpy but once he talks to his best friends then he goes to her house looking for answers then when he finds out why she quit he then shows her that he loves her and he will help her friend out so she does not have to worry all the time
Pia works hard.. She does not have any family apart from her best friend who she cares for at the min.. She does not want to lose her friend so she goes looking for a better job were she will get paid better to help look after her best friend.. She falls hard for her boss and quits her job because of things that you will find out when you read the book but she gets her boss back in the end

I liked the relationship between Levi and Pia because it was sweet and you can see how much the hero wants to take care of her.. I am glad they got a happy ending and that Pia's best friend is doing good

Levi is a hunky, nerdy, shy billionaire who runs a tech company. Pia is a hardworking, caring curvy girl looking for a better job to help pay for a friend's surgery. Pia ends up getting a job as Levi's assistant. She accepts the job but is worried he hired the wrong person. The two are instantly attracted to one another and start dating. The chemistry is uber Hot. But will Levi still want her when he hears the truth? After a little drama, we get a great HEA. I loved how thoughtful and caring Levi was towards Pia. Pia also was such a sweet soul caring for Lila. They were perfect together! Loved this story!!.

Not Gonna Lie
I couldn’t finish this book. I wanted to; I normally like Ms. Hart’s work, but I simply couldn’t finish this. Leukemia is a cancer of the blood. There’s simply no surgery, no matter how experimental, that would be even remotely beneficial- let alone curative. So, every time anything was mentioned regarding the best friend’s illness and coming surgery, I was immediately pulled out of the story.
Ten measly minutes of research would have prevented this. A simple Google search, really. I’m big on attention to detail, and the enormous lack of that was too much for me. It was annoying and I couldn’t look past it, no matter how hard I tried. I’m just… very disappointed.

Loved Pia and Levi! Levi was such a unique character and stole my heart from the very beginning. A billionaire but nerdy and never interested in dating, until he lays eyes on Pia. It’s like an instant strike to the heart and she’s all he thinks about. I loved experiencing Levi falling head over heels for her and wanting to spoil her like she’s never experienced before. A third act breakup but not because of drama and it is short lived. Levi fights for his woman like a good book boyfriend should! Some spice towards the end of the book and there is plenty of it once it gets heated. I really liked the ending. I would love a little more about Pia’s best friend and hope she gets a book of her own.

I’ve been following this series for quite some while. I love every single character from this series. Levi is such a big awkward man in the beginning that makes you want to hug him every chance you can get. I also loved Pia and how she would do anything for her best friend. Their connection is instant and Pia feels horrible for lying to Levi not knowing that he didn’t care what her name was, Pia was his to love. The love they show in this novella is so cute. I loved them so much. The spicy scenes are also amazing. I can’t wait for the last book in the series.

I loved My Sweetest Obsession Book 2 of Billionaire Bossholes. Pia can’t believe her new job. She’s knows she shouldn’t be there but she needs the money, the smoking hot boss is a bonus. Until they start to hang out and she really likes him and the guilt is killing her. Levi has found the woman of his dreams. He knew it the second he saw her but she’s pulling away. He won’t let her but when the truth comes out will he still want her? Such a great storyline and I loved the characters. They seemed so perfect for each other. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This is book number 2 of the Billionaire Bossholes series and focuses on Levi and Pia. Pia interviews for a job with Levi’s company to get better pay and benefits to help her best friend who has cancer. As soon as Levi sees Pia, he immediately knows what she is to him. He wastes no time trying to get to know her and trying to win her over. I love how they both fell for each other so quickly and both knew that they had met the one for them. They had a small hurdle to jump through, but Levi was determined to have his woman at all costs. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

This is the second book of Shaw's amazing series, the Billionaire Boss hole series. It is about Levi and Pia. The story is short and steamy. I was able to read it in one sitting.
I like how Levi falls first and boy...does he fall hard!!! He wants Pia to be his forever!! And he's not afraid to show it...
Pia is in love with Levi but she's afraid he will be mad at her and break up with her when he finds out her secret... Will he prove her right or will he surprise her and give her everything she could ever want?!?!?

Pia is determined to help her sick best friend. Levi is a sweetheart who falls hard and fast for her. Pia lies to keep the job he hired her for, but that quickly unravels the closer they become. The chemistry between them was good. There were a couple of spots that felt rushed, and Lila's details seemed odd at times. Overall a good love story with low drama and some complications

I was obsessed with this book. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and I couldn't put it down! Who doesn't love a good office boss romance?? I adored both main characters and I loved this just as much separate as I loved them together! I loved how the book opened up and from their very first interaction you knew their relationship was going to be delicious! I cannot wait for the final book!!.

Excellent read! I really enjoyed Levi and loved how he wanted to fix everything for Pia. He fell hard and fast for her! I thought it was incredibly sweet how he stepped right in and helped with the care of Lila.
This was a fun, sweet and quick read, with just the right amount of spice!
