Lightweight inconsistent book full of holes written by a bunch of boneheads! Given this as a present. A quick read (co very large font) of the first two chapters revealed numerous errors, such as the faulty scale questionnaire on page 54. Also most of the diagrams are filler and meaningless such as on page 50. It’s a shame because it’s an important topic and there are some truths within the pages, but the heavy shrouding of sensationalist claptrap means that by a few chapters in you have totally lost any trust. I’d like to say the authors should be ashamed of such a poor offering but given the fact that the recommends on the back cover are by the authors themselves it seems likely shame doesn’t feature very high on their list of priorities. I would expect better from Wiley. The best features of this book are the donation of a percent of author royalties to feeding children, and environmental causes, the fact that it’s printed on recycled paper, and its ability to be used as a light weight for body building training. Trust your instinct - a front cover with this much snake oil sales jargon really is ‘all mouth and no trousers’ as the expression goes! Save your money and buy some AlgaeCal Plus!
