Pre-read thoughts (1/24/2022): This is book 1 of my 2022 Finish the series I have started challenge. (I need a better name for that, any suggestions?). As it stands there are 53 series that I have not finished equating to 103 individual books. I'm not get to everything but I am shooting to eliminate 20 series and if after 2022, it's been more than a year since I've read one of the books in a series I will be DNFing the series. Sorry for rambling here but I can never find updates that are not connected to reviews. Also this list has all the series which include a bunch I don't care about anymore so I am trying to get five of the list a month.
Final Review (2/7/2022): Gryphon of Glass is the 3rd book in a series about a group of magical warriors who fall into our world. They battle evil and they meet the loves of their lives that are the Keys to their old power. Henrik and Gwen are the pairing in this one. I liked them but I feel somewhat lukewarm about their characters. They are just somewhat basic and non distinctive. I much preferred the first two books - Dragon of Glass and Unicorn of Glass. Rez and Heather are still my faves in this series. I will continue on to see Tadra’s story because I am absolutely pumped for her story.
I enjoyed the struggle for Gwen and Henrik to find their place in the group. Everytime they failed they felt out of place. And I freaking LOVED that Gwen accessed her magic by
The book was cute but with only 1 left and Robin’s narrative has not even really gotten started. I don’t know how Zoe Chant is going to wrap up Robin’s narrative in one book. Is this gonna be a 5 book series because I need Robin to get herself a happy ending?

This is the third book in a series about knights from another world. By now both the knights and the keys know what's going on, but is still difficult for them to adapt to a whole new world. Both Gwen and Henrik feel like they are not enough and that they are failing at the whole saving the world, but they have the support of their friends and each other to get through it.
It's a little bit of trust each other and trust in yourself, also it's a lot of don't care what other people think about you, for at the end it was what everyone have told Gwen that wasn't worth her time that ended saving the day. Don't let what other people think about you affect how you see yourself. Your strength is yours, and others have no say in it.
The book has a few awww moments, and some fun situations, it's a good light reading, and my only problem is that, even if we know from the start it is going to take several books to tell the whole story, now we end without knowing what happened to Robin, and I wanted to know.
It's a little bit of trust each other and trust in yourself, also it's a lot of don't care what other people think about you, for at the end it was what everyone have told Gwen that wasn't worth her time that ended saving the day. Don't let what other people think about you affect how you see yourself. Your strength is yours, and others have no say in it.

Zoe chant does it again
Ok other than some annoying inconsistencies this is a great series. It’s what I expect from the many Zoe’s. However I think 2 Zoe’s may have worked on this series together because they could not agree upon the female characters and on of the male characters hair lengths lol a very silly thing to focus on I know but it was annoying when your visualizing the story in your head and in several of the books the females hair is constantly changing. Daniela in beginning of book hair goes from long curly hair cause the dragon. Was imagining her long hair fanned over her pillow under him, then later in book her hair is short cropped locks cause he ran his fingers through it. It throws you off. Cause your like wait? Wtf happened? 3 chapters ago she had long hair. And Gwen in book 3 went from long straight black hair when hienrick was washing it in the shower then several chapters later it was short and then long again. It was confusing my hair does grow that fast. Same book not throughout the series. Even one if the guys hair went from short blond to long blond then shoulder length brown. (In same book)
Now you are warned you won’t get as distract as I did. Lol 😂 ignore their weird hair issues. And you got great stories here. Lol
So basically a FAE REALM WORLD IS DESTROYED BY Cerad and his bleaks & dours. Shadow evil entities that take over people and make them “ridden”. Possessed and turns them aggressive violent and angry wanting to hurt and destroy. The 4 fae shifter knights, A DRAGON, UNICORN, GRIFFON {kitty bird} lol & PHOENIX (FIRE BIRD) {Why can’t she just call Tadra a Phoenix?} whatever. are caught in a mix of several spells cast during battle and they are trapped inside GLASS ORNAMENTS of their beast. And pulled into our world by ROBIN “a they” is an androgynous Fable made entirely of pure magic entity (NOT A FAIRY) LOL. CERAD wants to take over this new world and destroy it like he did the fae world. Robin “a they” must find the “keys” to free the knights from their glass ornaments by finding their fated mates who are a key (a key is a fated mated human) and they are the knights connection to our world and help them unlock the magic within each knight) in order to fight Cerad his bleaks & dours. Before our world is destroyed. Each key. Finds an ornament and releases the fae shifter knights within. Teach them to navigate this modern world and unlock the magic before it’s too late. These stories are unique and have a holiday theme because the veil between the realms thins from Halloween till the end of the year. So each of the 4 books in series. takes place between October November December January Over a period of 1 year and 3 months. These books are standalones but also cliff hangers so, read in order. HEA, No triggers, very little sexual heat, but some romantic intimate scenes. Not very graphic.

This is an OK Fae shifter romance, but I did have a few issues with it. It gets 3 stars from me.
The story was a bit too short to have enough character development. I would have liked more backstory on both Henrik and Gwen.
I thought the characters were interesting and creative, but thought that both Gwen and Henrik adapted to their situation a little too easily. Henrik woke up in a completely different world, very different from his own, but adapted surprisingly well (and very quickly). Gwen didn't have any problem when a fable (fae) from another world told her she was the key for a fae shifter knight -- and that she needed to go with him to find that knight and help fight evil fae -- she just went. She also didn't freak out when a naked Henrik just appeared in front of her, she just accepted that she was his key. I didn't think their reactions to what had happened to them were believable at all.
I did like that Henrik immediately wanted to help the people of Earth, and tried to protect them from the evil beings from his world. I also liked that Gwen wanted to help him, and liked when she figured out how to enhance his magical abilities -- because she was his "key" to Earth's magic. It made sense that they would fall in love, since they were so good together. I also liked that Gwen was willing to completely change her life to help Henrik.
One problem I have with all of this author's series is that there is so long between books. Lots of times I have to go back and reread some of the earlier books in a series, simply because it has been so long that I don't remember all the characters. That is frustrating. I know Zoe Chant is actually a group of authors, and that this series is actually written by Elva Birch -- but I wish the books in a series could be published closer together.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Heat Factor: There’s on-page sex, and it’s not lengthy or highly detailed
Character Chemistry: It’s the kind of fated mates where the horniness is the first clue
Plot: It’s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)
Overall: Playful, low stress fantasy adventure
Most of this story centers on both Gwen and Henrik feeling inadequate because they can’t figure out how to work together to make Henrik’s magic work. Because we already know the steps that (theoretically!) need to be taken in order for them to succeed, and because everyone is in a holding pattern until New Year’s Eve, when the big battle is going to happen, there’s not much external tension driving things forward and this one moved a bit slower for me.

Revitalization!!!
Gwen, whom we've met in the previous book, DRAGON OF GLASS . She was Henrik's key, the one destined to keep him anchor to her world and help him get stronger in a world where magic wasn't as strong. She met two of his shieldmates, Trey, Trey's key ( DRAGON OF GLASS , Rez ( UNICORN OF GLASS ) and their master, Robin.
Now she was finally going to meet the man she'd heard so much about and his inner animal. Saying she was nervous about their first encounter was an understatement.
Henrik, a Gryphon Knight of a fallen kingdom in another universe was separated from his master and fellow shieldmates during a battle against their biggest enemy and his minions. Now he was trapped in a glass ornament, hoping to get freed soon so he could find his loved ones. And take care of their enemy, Cerad.
What he never expected was to find the beautiful, strong and fierce warrior, Gwen. She ignited something in him that he thought had died a long time ago. They got to know each other and discovered what made them tick. As his key he couldn't be prouder than her.
It was great to catch up with previous characters, loved how close the shieldmates
, their keys and Ansel are. So happy that Gwen and Henrik were able to tap into their magic.

Love and world saving
I enjoyed Henrik and Gwen’s story - trying to unlock magic without an instruction manual while falling in love and preparing to save the world. This is the third book in this series. It is an exciting story full of love, danger, drama, silliness, and some mystery. Plus there is a hot protective magical gryphon. Gwen is aware of the parallel world and the fae nights that were brought here locked in glass ornaments. Now if only they could find the one meant for her. Henrik is a magic fae gryphon warrior who is released from the ornament when Gwen kisses it. Henrik and Gwen must bond with each other in order to help save this world. Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it sounds. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, end of the world scenarios, paranormal creatures, evil masterminds, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, plot twists, mystical coincidences, snark, and laughs. It also includes witty dialogue, characters with depth, and an engaging storyline. These are best read in order as there is an overarching story arc that weaves through all the books. Now I am off to pick up the next book and read about the next shieldmate.

I have been loving this series- it is so fun and imaginative. 4 knights, mythical shifters, stuck in glass ornaments but our only hope from stopping the darkness from taking over (Dours and other characters of evil). They came from a world of magic but lost their magic and can’t regain it until they meet their Keys- in fact, they need their keys to kiss the ornament to free them!
I received an early copy of this book. This is Henrik and Gwen’s story and it was great. Throughout the story, we get to laugh as Henrik tries to get acclimated to a new world. We get to swoon, as he and Gwen get closer. And there is action and intrigue as we wait for the inevitable battle. I love Robin and Amstel, two supporting characters that being laughs. And overall, revisiting the different characters from prior stories is wonderful. In general, each story is a standalone romance but reading in order maximizes enjoyment.

Can't wait for book 4!
Henryk is a sweet character and Gwen is a doll. I loved how they treated each other right from the beginning. It is great to see all the previous characters as well. I am very much enjoying this series and can't wait for the next book. Gwen is such a different character. She has a black belt and yet is an avid gamer. Henryk is so frustrated to be so unknowing about this new world and to not be able to connect to his magic to assist Robin.
The pace is more relaxed and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some action and some steamy scenes. The characters are vibrant and engaging. I really hope we can get the next book sooner. But even if we don't, I know that there will be more books by Zoe Chant for me to read. You need to read the series in order to get the most out of it. If you like shifter romances with unusual situations, vivid characters and some action, then this is one you will like! Enjoy!

Great installment in the series
Book 3 in the Fae Shifter Knights series, this is Gwen and Henrik's story. While you can technically read this as a standalone, there's a lot of story information that carries over from book to book (including references to events in earlier books), so for the best experience, I'd highly recommend reading the series in order.
There's a nice mix of suspense, action, humor, and heat in a story where our world is facing a dire threat that has already destroyed one world. I really enjoyed the world building here, and am enjoying both the concept and the characters. I particularly like how each human envisions how they access the magic for the knight they're paired with differently.
All in all, a fast and fun read—exactly as I've come to expect from this author. Looking forward to the next book already!

Wonderful
This is the third book in the series and its just as great as the first two. Henrico and Green are a wonderful couple. Even though they are instantly attracted to each other they still need time to grow their love and I think this adds a uniqueness to a fated mate story. I also love the broth of Gwen. What she thinks is her power isn't , which leads to self discovery and actually helps the couple bond. Another fun thing about this book is that the overall arch of TV series continues so we also get to see the closeness with the characters from the other books. I highly recommend this book but suggest you read the other stories first to add to your enjoyment.

A delightful story with a suspenseful end
An excellent continuation of the glass series! I enjoy how the pairs feel instant attraction, but have to work things out instead of immediately declaring their undying love. Dont get me wrong, that type of plot has a place, this just isnt it and this Zoe knows that. The pairs have to figure out their strengths and weaknesses and how to work as both teams and as a unit. That does take a little time and effort.
As far as the cliffhanger ending... something told me that we were in for a Zoe type twist lol I cant wait to find out how this all ends, and if its the end of the world as we know it... but if it is, I feel fine! ;)

Gwen struggles with being passionate about something no-one takes seriously. Henrik is struggling to learn how to adapt to a brand new world. Neither know what they are doing. Will she figure out what is holding them back before it is too late?
Have to say, for two strangers, thrown together and told win or doom, they didn't do too bad. I loved how he took to everything and was willing and determined to learn everything he could to be helpful and show her what he felt was true. I loved how despite feeling like a failure, she kept trying to figure out what was wrong and when she could have panicked, she took a breath and was able to help those she had come to love. Good read!

Oh wow!!
Loved that Gwen and Henrik finally got their magic, and Henrik is getting accustomed with his new surrounding. However I do fear for Robin, seeing how they get weak when they use up too much magic to create a portal. And these new dours are a bit more scary then the shadow dours, and what did that last one mean they have the broken crown, could it be Robin??? Anyway things are a bit quiet now but I think this battle to save the world is going to take everything they got to destroy the threat. And what will become of the firebird if it's broken..so patiently waiting for Tadra story, and the return of Robin..big fan as always Winzie19☺💞.

Gwen has found her knight. Henrik is more than she could hope for. The problem is she can't figure out how she, as his key, can give him the power be needs.

I loved Henrik and Gwen's story (and even her grumpy cat). Gwen's struggle to unlock the magic for Henrik to help in the upcoming battle weighs heavily upon her. Though the mini flying Gryphon is truly adorable and a great toy for Gwen's cat, the upcoming battle is drawing ever closer. The dragon's key sings, the unicorn's key knits, but the gryphon's key is the most awesome! I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

I’ve read most of Zoe Chant’s books and all of this series. This book was my favourite one so far. I really liked Gwen and Henrik’s story. Gwen doesn’t have a clue and feels very out of place waiting for her Knight. She’s got a wonderful cat who’s very well written. The previous characters all make appearances and it’s lovely to see how they are getting on. I’m looking forward to finding out what happens to Robin. I’m hoping they get a Key too. As well Ansel, who is very tolerant of all the unusual behaviour that’s occurring.

I adore this series. The child like wonder from big, strong knights. The patience they get from their keys. The generosity of Ansel is wonderful. The enemy is as unique as the characters. The story is interesting and keeps me wondering. Where's Robin? What happens to Tadra with her ornament broken? What about Robin, do they get a mate? A key? Enough magic to be full sized? I can't wait to find out! I believe this series is best when read in order. I would recommend this whole series!!

Although I really like Gwen as a female lead (and I really like the lack - on both of their parts - of instant knowledge they were meant for each other), I felt like this book took a little too long for her and Henrik to start working together as a team, and as though they went through more than a little too much angsting to get to that point where they finally did.
Aside from that, it was a fun instalment, although I missed Robin in the second half of the book, and I'm still hopeful we'll get to find out a bit more about them in Book 4. Fingers crossed.

Long awaited and worth it
Chivalry and video games mastery DO go hand in hand against evil dour(s) spirit in this latest story of knights traveling to our world. It was a pleasant holiday timed release as our mighty crew grows in its magic and capability in fighting the invaders. The world May never know how these hero (ines) have paired to protect us, but readers of this valiant story will appreciate toast and tea after the dust settles from their battles.

It's pretty good but I'm confused about sum things but I think that's because I managed 2 read this one 1st instead of last. Lol it's good that she can kick ass and she finally found him but the issue is that she has 2 find away 2 help him since she is his key. But the unexpected fight and her unexpected thoughts r what finally worked 4 her and it was really unexpected but really unique at the same x. Her power is really special.

I enjoy this series a lit. I find the robin character interesting and trying to get used not how robin is address as they a very challenging read. I can't imagine how much thought writing that type of character takes because reading them takes extra thoughts as well. I like this book but i did not get as warm and fuzzy from it as the past 2 books. Don't get me wrong its a great bread and well written but something was missing for me.

Tense
Wow! This book was so tense as Gwen and Henrik sought to find the secret to their magical link. Gwen was sort of wishy washy at first. When she finally figured every thing out she showed out with her girl power.Henrik was everything I imagined he would be when his ornament was finally discovered. I waited so long for his book in the series and was not disappointed because it was worth the wait!

I would recommend this book. I loved the way the love story part of the book was a little hesitant at first,and worked it's way up to the way it should be. I also think them figuring out how they're powers worked in the way they did. As I said I would recommend this to those who like this kind of books.

Raced through this Gripping story in one sitting, will be looking out for the last in the series and just wish there would be more to follow with these engaging characters. Robin needs their own story too
