I had the pleasure of reading this before its release and loved it. I had already read the previous trilogy, from Claire's POV and thought that a retelling from Adam's point would end up seeming uneventful, as I would know what was coming. I was pleasantly proven to be wrong. This second book answers any questions I might have had when reading Black. A great complement for anyone that liked the first trilogy or is just looking for a well-written YA fantasy.

I loved this series. When I first started reading I downloaded the first three Spark, White, and Black . I wasn't sure which to read first so I looked at recommendations from author . I decided to read them simultaneously switching back and forth. I enjoyed the two point of views. After reading Claire's I understood what was going on better. Adams point of view helped me understand a little more of why he did some of the things he did. I was glad it ended like it did, it left off with possibilities of more books.

WOW

So I have read every book prior to this one. And this is by FAR my favourite. How the author captures Adam's emotions and those around him enraptured me. I could not put it down. I cannot wait for the next installment! What a wonderful thing to have the story in two perspectives.

The cave

This book is better because it's a repeat of book 2 but from Adam he was hardly in book 2 because he was dead so this book shows you what was going on when Adam was missing/dead sort of. I had a confusing he did not sleep with Maureen (thank God I was worried in the whole book) because mostly he saw Claire's eyes and it pushed her away so why did that not work with Emma (ok he didn't with her but that because he wanted her soul) he still made out with her etc.I'm I ment to guess it was because of her warm soul? In my eyes he wouldn't want to even if he had no memory.

Book 5 in Wings series (2nd of Adam's POV trilogy) - Audiobook Review

Narration is perfect for the characters.

Demon background. Increased physical/mental strength. Deception. Soul/blood lust. Loss.
Great world building and character development.

I'm loving Adam's POV. His complete loss of memory to slight recognition to deep connection and then remembrance of his lost memories sets the stage for this book. Adam's struggles with learning his half-demon/half-angel heritage continue to guide his everyday life. He's still searching for a place of belonging and fighting his newly awakened demon urges.

What happens when you are a newly awakened demon that has no memory of having another life that wasn't so dark. Adam's Story is his side that it is a different story of the same characters.

I decided to go ahead and read Adam's POV before starting book 3 of Claire's. Definitely another good story from his side.

Seriously one of the best angel books I’ve read. Story line is kinda slow but captures you. I couldn’t put the books down. I read all 6 books in less then 2 weeks. I extremely enjoyed Adams POV the best. I still have so many questions. What was Ben thinking ?? I need more of this story! Love it!
