The mother of the author was a fanatic follower of NAZI Ideology including the special infant rearing techniques advocated by Dr. Haarer in the "German" Anti Spock: The German mother and her first child. Sigrid Chamberlain presents childhood memories and pictures of Germans born between 1920 and 1945. NAZI Proganda pictures show detached children, the mother is not supposed to "indulge" her child, by cuddling, smiling or even eye contact. While other pictures show healthy connected families. Many of these belonged to the resistance movements around Stauffenberg.
