About the author

Rebecca F. Kenney writes spicy fantasy romance about sassy, strong women and hot guys with tragic backstories... pirates, warlords, demons, Fae, and royals. All’inizio ero preoccupata di ritrovarmi bonus che avevo già letto e di aver acquistato due volte gli stessi contenuti, ma per fortuna i bonus dei primi due libri mi erano del tutto nuovi e li ho apprezzati assai.
Come raccolta non offre molte info in più sulla serie, ma ho apprezzato il poter leggere le scene più intriganti della trilogia da un altro punto di vista e vedere come Fin si sia innamorato di Clara e come Lir si sia fatto tremila paturnie per tutto il tempo.
O di come Riordan faccia concorrenza a Lir come scopa in culo e di come Caer abbia sofferto per il destino dei suoi amici. Poraccio, non è un codardo, è solo sensibile.
Non parlo dei bonus del terzo romanzo perché sono praticamente un pornazzo allucinante, anche se apprezzato.
Insomma, nell’insieme sono state piccole aggiunte che non avranno rivelato chissà quale segreto cosmico, ma svolgono bene il loro lavoro e intrattengono il lettore.
Vi consiglio di recuperalo una volta finita la trilogia, oppure, se amate togliervi subito lo sfizio, di leggere la parte corrispondente dopo aver letto il libro di riferimento.
In caso contrario… beh, a dire il vero non credo che capirete granché dato che sono spezzoni nel bel mezzo della narrazione, ma io vi ho avvisati.

It was great to read new perspectives on some of my favorite scenes throughout this trilogy! I did read quite a few of the scenes for The City of Emeralds and Envy though because it was included in the original novel. Really fun and enticing read overall!
