As we’ve come to expect in Zoe’s MMCs, Anton is obsessed with his woman, possessive to a nearly unhinged degree, and, maybe most importantly, devoted beyond measure. I love knowing that I don’t have to worry about a third-act breakup, a will they/wont they, yada yada. Absolutely loved it! No good deed goes unpunished and when Brynne agrees to help a desperate friend steal from a Russian mob casino, she ends up getting a little different "punishment" than she was expecting when she gets caught, lol. Anton doesn't know what this sweet looking girl is up to in his club, but he's decided her crime spree is ending and he's going to keep all that sweetness for himself, whether she agrees to it or not!
Zoe fans will NOT be disappointed with this latest installment of the Ruthless Obsession series. You don't need to read the other books to follow along, but why skip them and miss out on all the over the top Russian yumminess, lol? "Daddy" Anton knows someone has to take care of this girl and Brynne just seems to unlock an untapped need in him to protect and provide that he's never felt before. I loved Brynne. She definitely has thick layers Anton need to work through to gain her trust. The story is well written and fast paced, but it's definitely the characters that draw you in tight. I love that we get to see all our favorite heroes from the previous books and their women pull her into their girl gang and give her the family she always wanted. If you're a fan controlling fictional men who aren't afraid to use a little dubious consent to sweep you off your feet and into bed, Sweet Intensity will certainly check all your boxes with big red flags!

Spank me, Daddy!!!!! I love Anton!! It's been a minute since Zoe gave us daddy kink, and boy, this one was BEJSKAOAOA!!
Bryann is a nice girl. She's a nice friend she thought she was helping her friends boyfriend out in a small card game. And found out that was a huge lie there going to steal from the mob. She tries to get herself out of it, but her bleeding heart can't when the boyfriend pulls the "your friend is prego" card. It doesn't take long for her to get caught and taken away by one of the owners, Anton. Anton is already smitten, but he's going to show his baby girl a lesson needs to be taught, and he does! Spankings over his desk and punishing her mouth. Lord, fudge me!! From there on, he's already named himself her daddy. 💦💦💦💦
No matter how much she pushes him away, he keeps coming back fighting.
We watch their relationship grow a lot of pushback from Bryann since she has been let down by men before, so she has her walls high. We also see why she has her walls high and why she has problems trusting men.
I can't wait for the next guy, seems like Mac might get a sassy nanny ;)

I will never tire of Zoe Blake's Russian mafia men. Never. Brynn happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time helping the wrong people. Or is she? Because Anton is a force to be reckoned with and even though he smashes into her life like a wrecking ball, he rebuilds it with love, possession and obsession I've come to be addicted to in Blake's men.
Anton sets his sights on Brynn and nothing...NOTHING will keep him from claiming the woman that sets his body and mind on fire. Brynn might be resistant and I loved that fight in her but soon she will be helpless to his charms.
Sweet Intensity was intense in the best way and I can't wait for more in this world!

I threw my common sense and rational thinking out the window before diving into this story. 😂 And I'm glad I did because I truly enjoyed the book once I stopped looking for reasons why the MMC acts the way he does.
Anyway, Brynn went to Anton's casino to help her friend's boyfriend to cheat on a card game but she was caught by Anton. Since this is Ms. Blake's book, it's expected for the MMC to get obsessed at first sight with the FMC.
Anton went full on caveman mode around Brynn, he steamrolled his ways into her life and poor Brynn didn't stand a chance with him. 😂 Brynn's no doormat heroine, I love her feistiness but Anton's possessiveness is a whole lot of different level. She did her best to tell him time and time again to leave her alone, but "No" isn't included in the vocabulary of these Russian men. 🤣
I think the book happened over four days (???) And it's so comical the number of times Brynn ran away only for Anton to chase and drag her back to his penthouse. 😂 The cat and mouse game had me laughing all the time and Anton's obsession only intensified each passing day.
Tbh, most of what happened here are smut 😅 there is a twist thrown at the end but I felt like it was only an afterthought. 🤷♀️
Anyway, in summary, the story is about Brynn running away and telling-off Anton most of the time, and him getting pissed at her insistence at freedom and punishing her for being a brat. 😂 He's hellbent on tying her to him in every possible way even if he has to chain her in bed 🤣 But at the end of the day, Brynn realized she love his brand of crazy and there's no man in this world that she would want to spend the rest of her life unless it's Anton. The story ended in a HFN situation with them getting engaged.
Overall, I had fun reading this. I'm really digging the ott behavior and I'm excited for the next book. 😂

There is so much to love about a big Russian man and Zoe has written Anton as a brute of a man, strong, protective and over the top possessive {{swoon}}. When he spots Brynn in The Four Monks the attraction is instantaneous and intense. Their relationship becomes tumultuous with Brynn trying to build her walls and prevent being from being hurt and Anton fighting to collapse those walls and make her commit to the inevitable relationship 💕
Sweet Intensity was a perfect story with very likeable characters and some insanely hot scenes.
I can’t wait for Mac’s story and to see what happens with Stephan ✨

Brynn Moore is not exactly sure how she got talked into helping out her co-workers boyfriend, when she steps into the mafia owned casino she know she wants out. Things don't go as planned though and she ends up escorted to Antonius Ivenchenko. Even though she was caught, Antonius plans to dole out punishment and not in the way Brynn was expecting. Now Anton has claimed Brynn and Brynn's life has been full of disappointment and doesn't need another person letting her down. Anton plans to slay all her fears but cam she trust him enough to give him a chance?
There were parts I liked in this story but some of the sexy times were a bit much for me. I think Anton is domineering and a force to be reckoned with but his first interaction with Brynne was a bit too taboo for me. Otherwise good story, I would check out more by this author.

Who wouldn’t love a possessive, obsessive over the top Russian mafia boss to make you his! This book is insanely hot and while the FMC has her own issues she has great growth through the book. This author paints the most amazing pictures with her stories- the details are perfection in sucking you into the story.
If you’re looking for a story that will allow you to escape from reality, is spicy with a good storyline, is well written and features your dream book boyfriend. This story is for you!

I'm so happy to have recieved an ARC copy of Sweet Intensity. Daddy Anton is such an alpha male and so so sexy. Brynn was a great female character. The book was fast paced and kept you captivated from the beginning. The spice was definitely a level 5. Zoe Blake never disappoints with her Russian men. I have loved this series and can read them over and over. They are my go-to read if I'm in a book slump. I love how she ties her past characters in with the story line. I absolutely love her books. 💕

Oh so grape is now romanized? I mean he forced himself on her, everytime she said stop or no, he just “knew” she’d want it. And even though her pov was her thoughts of how she liked it.. doesn’t change the fact that majority of what he did was assault.

I was sadly unimpressed by this one. Not even the smut could save it. There was a serious lack of a plot, and the storyline that was there felt too contrived and forced. There was also no natural buildup or chemistry between the main characters. Bad or good characters, something that keeps me reading is engagement, curiosity, and interest. It just fell short of all that, and therefore didn’t provide me the enjoyment I was hoping for.
Throwing out lines like “I’m not like other girls” didn’t help much, either. And the FMC’s constant pout, or sticking tongue out, or jutting her chin out became annoying and tiresome almost immediately. I honestly didn’t understand why these characters were together. I felt no love or connection; it went from the FMC still running away and denying to love confessions with no development.
If you like a Daddy kink, this one has a heavy focus on that. Definitely an age gap going on, FMC I believe is in her early 20s and the MMC is older, described with salt and pepper hair. Also featured in the smut were elements like spanking (hand and belt), 🍆 mouth-warming (which was a first for me to read in spice!), and 🍑 play)

On the other hand, Brynn, is an absolute firecracker. She's not your typical damsel in distress. Instead, she's a strong-willed, independent woman who can hold her own in any situation. Her chemistry with the MMC is undeniable and electric. Their interactions are filled with tension, passion, and a push-and-pull dynamic that keeps you glued to the pages.

"Ruthless Obsession" series so far was very enjoyable to read... Brynn and Anton's story... It wasn't for me... I'm happy though that I read the next two books in the series before reading this one... because I may have ended up not reading them...

Following the Ruthless Obsession MO guy (yummy daddy) finds girl, and girl’s done for! Brynn unknowingly find herself in trouble when trying to help out a friend. Low and behold what she was told didn’t exactly match up with what she got herself into. Anton took one look at her and if we have read any of Zoe Blake’s books, know by now the possession begins. It was a great read, I loved getting to know Brynn, loved that she was just as sneaky as Anton, and I loved the scene with the other Ruthless ladies. Russian men know what they want and have zero problems achieving their goals.

I am totally blaming Zoe Blake for my obsession with Russian m@fia romance, and I don’t even want to get over it! Jeeeez, how can every single book in the Ruthless Obsession series is this hot and @ddictive? Sweet Intensity has come at an absolutely perfect time when I was feeling kind of depressed due to some personal issues along with the autumn sadness. Antonius Ivenchenko (God, even his name is uber smexy!) has swept me and Brynn off our feet and stolen our hearts, minds and souls with his overly protective, possessive and imposing ways. Honestly, Brynn couldn’t be more perfect for him with her quirky questions and naive ways. They brought out the light in each other. And their intimate moments, woof! They were nuclear level hot with detailed descriptions which I just looooove. I had to read certain scenes over and over again to get the positions right in my mind 🥵🥵🥵. And who wouldn’t want a daddy with Anton’s looks, power, generosity and integrity (never mind that he is a criminal but a gentleman among his friends and family.) I am irrationally sad that their story is over and I don’t know how long I’m gonna have to wait for Mac’s story but I know it’s going to be good since Zoe’s imagination never fails to please my hopeful heart.
