"Falling For A Stranger: Kaali Nazar" by Ruchi Singh is a captivating addition to the Mehra Family Saga, exploring the theme of love-at-first-sight against the backdrop of Indian society and its regressive beliefs. Though the discussion of the story line in such a book where many surprises are waiting after turning the pages , I personally don't like. As it destroys the author's effort and spoiler is never a great experience for me. However the story follows Samarth, a successful and determined man who unexpectedly falls in love with Nandini, a woman burdened by unfortunate circumstances and societal pressures. The plot is fueled by Samarth's unwavering pursuit of Nandini's love, despite the obstacles that stand in their way.
While the story does touch on familiar themes of love and societal expectations, it manages to provide a fresh perspective and authentic portrayal of the challenges faced by the characters.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this book; it's a captivating read that left me eager for more. The enticing back cover drew me in, and for those who savored the first installment of the series, "Mehra Family Saga " offers the same delightful flavor of romance and intrigue.

This is yet another top notch novel from Ruchi Singh. I must say she is a terrific writer because I already had read her writings before. And with this book she hits the nail on the head. Its an unputdownable easy read full of informations and emotions.
The book is interesting for every reader, male or female, who has lost a dear one as Ruchi delves into universal themes of life, love, and ill practices of society and touches hearts of all ages. The story features Nandini and Samarth where Samarth falls for Nandini at first sight. But the young Nandini, due to unfortunate circumstances and society beliefs/pressure she continued in isolation.
Now, dig into the story to find out wheather Samarth will be able to bring back colours of joy in Nandini's life.
Will they be able to commit for rest of their life?

I recently had the pleasure of reading Ruchi Singh's book, "Falling for a Stranger," and I must say it was a delightful experience. Having previously enjoyed her book "Falling for My Best Friend," I had high expectations, and she didn't disappoint.
In "Falling for a Stranger," Ruchi takes us on a journey filled with unexpected twists and heartfelt emotions. The story revolves around Samarth and Nandini, two characters who couldn't be more different. Samarth, who had seen many of his friends fall in love at first sight, never thought he would experience it himself until he meets Nandini at a wedding. From that moment on, he's convinced that she's the one for him.
Nandini, on the other hand, has resigned herself to a life without a partner, burdened by unfortunate circumstances and societal pressures. We follow the second sibling of the Mehra family. Samarth Mehra is running an IT company and is working very hard on his train journey to get one deal which will make him earn some good profits. He sees a lady wearing a white dress and he is mesmerized by her voice and her. He never thought he will fall in love at first sight like the Hindi movies but fall he does and he falls very hard.
Nandini is a widow and is of 22 years age. She is considered a Kaali nazar that means a person who is a bad omen since she got her alcoholic father killed and killed her husband after 2 months of marriage. When she meets Samarth, she tries her level best to make him understand her situation and to forget about her. But Samarth is very determined to make Nandini understand his love and not to consider herself as a bad omen. He meets her brother and also comes to meet her at her hometown.
Will Nandini's fear go away and her heart will melt for him or whether she will remain stubborn and never marry. For that you need to read the short novella.
Nandini is a widow and is of 22 years age. Once again we are back to treating a woman as witch or evil omen because of incidents over which she had no control.
It takes you through the tragic tale of Nandini, a young widow from whom society has taken away all colours and joy. In her life comes the young,vibrant, handsome young man Samarth who wants to bring colours and joy back in her life.
But Nandini is afraid to commit and continues to remain in her shell. But destiny had other plans for her. She is forced to break the chains society had put on her to bring back the smile on the face of the man from whom destiny snatched it with a quirk of fate.
A beautiful story which sends a message that what goes around comes around.
The humanity,love, respect and care Samarth showed to a socially outcast woman comes back to him multifold when he needs it the most.

This story revolves around Samarth and Nandani. The story begins with excitement and one can hear the raceing of heartbeat. Samartha was attracted towards the lead lady the moment he saw her in train and later in Ragini's wedding. But what was that, which was stopping Nandani to accept him. Her past, her societal point of view or her no interest in him. The story takes a big turn after Samarth's accident. There are many other secondary characters who help in moving the story forward.
The character of Nandani's brother was quite supportive. A well developed story, powerful narrative, persuasive way of presentation makes this novel spellbinding.. .
