This book was a gift from the author, who happens to be a high-school classmate and friend. The experiences she tells are real, and inspiring. Her knowledge of the gospel of Christ is amazing. Her advice helps me to want to be a better person. This book has helped me during a hard trial in my life. Thank you Bette. I know that your words have helped so many.

This book was great - had some awesome insights I could helpful as a new wife and mom. My grandma actually gave me this book when I turned 15. I casually tossed it aside for later reading, mistaking the title for "Everyday Angels." Not wanting to read about Mormon myths on angels or whatever it was, I left this book alone for almost 12 years. Amazingly, I picked it up and found it perfect timing for the things I was going through. I recommend this to any LDS (or non-LDS) woman who wants a pick-me-up on how to combat everyday battles that we go through. I found the author sincere and non-preachy - things I look for in LDS writing.

I didn't like how it just ended. It was abrupt with no prologue to pull it together. That's my only complaint though.

Wow. Love this book. Absolutely loved it. And to think I almost decided not to read it because I'd never heard of this author before. So glad I decided to take the chance. I highly recommend this one to all LDS women.
I would put Bette Molgard on the same level as my other LDS favorites, Sheri Dew, Patricia Holland and Virginia Pierce.
On a side note, I'm disappointed that goodreads doesn't show the dust jacket art, I love that painting.
