It wasn't bad, it just lacked depth...
Some typos - like "race" meant to be "face", "her" meant to be "he", "breathe" instead of "break", "family" instead of "familiar" - all of these only happened once, but were noticeable. It felt way faster pace than the other 2 I read in the series. The anger, forgiveness/changes of heart, trials, reconciliation, war, literally everything felt rushed. Both characters gave surface level energy, I didn't feel drawn to really either one of them. It also has practically no spice other than a few kisses and like 2 "spicy" scenes in memories. It was ok. Should have been longer and more detailed, so much potential.
Of Death & Darkness (Megan Montero - Part of the Forgotten Kingdoms Series that are interconnected standalones from a few authors): FMC is "taken" from the human realm, instant attraction and hatred - enemies to lovers, insinuated/attempted SA (on FMC), mûrdêr(s), a bridal competition, dem0ns/vampîres, MMC told to keep watch over FMC - f0rced proximity, missing memories, furry sidekick (for FMC), found/reunited friends/family, truths revealed, war, soul mates, HEA.
