This book was soooo good! Chi finally got away from Baron (her cheating ex) and found some peace within herself by going to therapy and working on her own personal growth. Dealing with the disgusting assault done to her by Sterling (aka the Mayors secret love child), really had Chi in a very bad place. But through therapy and the help of Ryan ( Rylo Lopez), she is able to reinvent herself and get back on her feet.
Sterling did strike again though, but luckily Rylo took care of him once and for all. Rylo and Chi become very close in this book and I loved each and every thing he did to help Chi.
Arrington (Chi’s step sis) and Tracy (Chi’s step mama) ain’t worth a dime. Both are two conniving and hateful women who have been out for Chi since the beginning. Chi has always been looked down upon from these too and Tracy not only hated her but played a role in Chi being assaulted and then later kidnapped.
Rylo has big plans to get the Mayor who is also in cahoots with Tracy. After Rylo’s sister Alex is shot it’s a wrap for the Mayor especially when Chauncey, Chi’s daddy is released way earlier from prison thanks to Rylo and all of Tracy’s dirty little secrets are aired for him to see thanks again to Rylo.
Arrington gets the shock of her lifetime too when the secret Rylo exposes is dealing with her in a HUGE way!!
I can’t wait for book 3! The secrets exposed in this book were too juicy. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Rylo’s and Chi’s budding romance. How Arrington accepts the huge bombshell he revealed about her “mom” Tracy. What will Chauncy do after catching his wife in the act with the Mayor and how will things play out since Arrington is now pregnant with Baron’s baby and so is his ex Taina!! Excellent read and 10/10 stars!

Oh Em Gee
This part two was epic. All of the twists & turns the characters went through and their development overall was great to see. Arrington was definitely thrown for a loop throughout this whole book. It’s like her karma hit her hard as hell. Tracy had to know her lil lie was gonna come out fast but the way it happened was epic. Baron has gotten himself into a pretty lil pickle and I just love it. Glad Chi dodged that bullet & she with Rylo right now. I can’t wait until they make it official bc I just love them together. Alex and Royce are one of my fave couples and I love them as a whole. Byron got what was coming to him but then again he actually could’ve gotten a reprieve. Taina I baby wait for her to get her karma bc who in the world even does the things she does and is ok with it. Chauncy finally got to see Tracy for who she is and now her lil happy ending is coming crashing down at her feet. This was a phenomenal part two & if you wanna know all the deets in between pick up this banger by my boo Tasha Mack no disappointment at all.

Ok, Tasha Mack, you didn't come to play! PART 2 was right on point! Chi is still that Bi@ch her personality shines on ALL PAGES! I'm so glad that Rylo stayed and was able to rescue Chi. Sterling was STRAIGHT BUM, scum of the earth, and will not be able to hurt ANY woman.. now D kiaron has realized he fumbled Chi heart and has no dea of the trouble he has gotten in the bed with 2 devils. First, Tiana stole the money from the house & now his blood is on her hands. Alex being shot so glad she survived. No telling what would have happened. Ronnie needs to put a leash on that wife of his. But that Mayor's Ball ithe tea from there...sheesh and the two brothers sleeping around with Tracy!!! But when Chauncey finishes with her. Even the devil himself won't be able to save her. Arrington has a rude awakening once she sees that Baron loves to be in control. Her spoiled days are ending surely.. okay, PART 3 Please . Lol

Well Damn!!!!!
I see Tracy got more skeletons in her closet right along with Mayor White. I would have never guessed she was behind all the mess with Chi. She better hope the Mayor gonna protect her cause Chauncey bout to reek havoc on everyone that had a hand in harming his baby and I hope that includes Arrington's delusional azz. She thinks she doing something with Baron when Rylo and Chi about to be couple goals. If Baron know what I know he'd sit down somewhere cause ain't no saving his brother. Ion know what he gonna do about his thieving baby mama but alot of people about to f@ck around and find out the hard way.💟💟

The nerve
Tracy had some nerve throughout this whole series she’s been doing her dirt but had all of these skeletons just falling out of her closet! And then had even more nerves to boost Arrington into not liking Chi! I’m so happy she’s finally exposed for the snake that she is! I’m so happy Rylo and Chi finally gave in I saw it coming no matter how hard they tried! Everyone around them seen it happening but them! What I wasn’t expecting is for Rylo to know Chauncy! I feel like this is just getting to the tipping point and I can’t wait to see what happens next! Part 3 me please with all this drama I know it can only get better!

Wow bombs drop love it
Arrington was so delusional and I wish chi would of got her hands on Arrington in the hospital. Tracy was selfish and trifling I can't wait to see what happens to them in the next book. Sterling got what he deserved. Baron was a dog and Taina is stupid for want to be with him.chi has been through it Sterling,Arrington, Tracy and the mayor. Am glad she had Royce,Alex and Rylo. oh my goodness part 3 me plz
This was worth the wait. I couldn't put this part 2 down.....I was happy that the slow burn between Rylo and Chi came to an end. I can not wait to see what will happen with arrington. She said she was trying to change and you can tell that her conscience is getting to her but Karma is real. The way her and tracy had been treating Chi her entire life has to be dealt with. Lets see how everything unfolds. This is definitely a book to add to my collection so that I can reread whenever the mood strikes me.

So I’m going to take a different approach in this review and those that will come after. It does no justice to tell you deets if you’re going to read bcz it will spoil the thrills. So with that being said this was a GREAT READ. I love Chi’s character she’s a no nonsense type knows who she is but still dealing with dog ass men like most will in life. To add fuel to the fire Arrington finds out Tracey is not her real mother talk about family secrets. Chauncey Chi father is out of prison so much tomfoolery and betrayal. What will happen next will Chi and Rylo build a future together. Alex was shot by Bryon Baron brother.

Will The Truth Finally Come Out?
Tasha Mack, ok you just gotta do it don't you? You really did your thing with this part. Chi just can't catch a break, finally I hope her justice will be served. Tracy never thought about her actions and what it may cost. Situations are being uncovered and truth will finally come out. Arrington is a hot mess. Her reasoning will change I believe for doing some of the foolishness Tracy put the seeds in her head.
Full is such a good guy in my opinion. He really wants to do the best for Chi. Baron will his karma. I can't wait to see what else happens.🤗🤗🤗🤗
