My grandson is 6 years old, and this book tickled his funny bone. In a town where all the monsters live and there's a monster party every night, the little monsters learn that eating too much candy leads to monster crap.
My grandson was laughing so hard as I read to him in song to the toon of "Monster Mash". He loved it. All the monsters had monster crap and each one is as different as the monsters who had them. It was worth the read if only to see his reactions to the monster poops. And now he is singing the song too ... With one minor word change.
If you don't mind a little potty humor, you can have fun with this one. We will be getting this book out every Halloween.
“Monster Crap” was a funny book for elementary-middle school aged kids. My young boy definitely thought this was hilarious as talking about fart and poop is hilarious to him at that age. I like that it is themed for Halloween as well, as that is a favorite holiday in our home.
“Monster Crap” is pretty funny. A warning for all children to avoid eating too much Halloween candy. And the consequences are laid out in some hilarious illustrations. Let’s face it, most children think bodily functions are funny. Recommended for the great pre Halloween festivities.
Cute and the kids loved it. An adult mind would be on th fence with it but rewdinfnshows that the audience whom it was intended for embraces it and that is what matters in this story.
Amazing unique artwork. Edgy concept, but illustrating an important lesson. You'll be singing a certain song in your head the whole way through. Bonuses at the end are such an amazing value, never seen anything like it.
The rhymes are the kind you can sing along to in the bear of monster mash! Funny idea with a moral of not to overindulgence in candy at haloween! Kids love farts and poop... so they'll love this
I would’ve given this a four but my daughter found it hilarious. She’s ten so that tells you the age this book will appeal to. It’s repetitive also but again, since she enjoyed it I have to assume she’s more the demo for this one.
This book was interesting to say the least but had a great moral. When all the monsters spend Halloween eating tons of candy they get upset tummies and have to poop.
I saw this book and knew my girls and husband would get a kick out of it. Then, to top it off, it's a book that follows the same neat as the song Monster Mash. Well written, very funny, and the illustrations are a crack up. We enjoyed it.
This book will appeal to the kids who enjoy poo and fart stories. It is about a Halloween party where the visitors are Halloween characters - zombie, Frankenstein , zombie etc. Unfortunately they all get a stomach upset. Great illustrations and imaginative.
