My Coach SEAL

"Unexpectedly, my high school sweetheart, a former SEAL, has returned to town to coach youth football – and he's my son's coach!

I've just moved back while finalizing a divorce, leaving me in emotional turmoil.

Facing my first love in the same town is far from ideal.

As I contemplate rekindling a friendship, I wonder if it's safe for my heart , given our past heartbreak when I left for college and he joined the Navy.

I'm cautiously navigating a 'just friends' approach, but every time I see him, my heart yearns for him to touch and caress my body like old times,

I refuse to endure mistreatment and betrayal again, like my ex put me through.

Is reigniting this old flame truly what my heart desires, or am I in rebound mode, trying to show my ex that I've moved on?

Only time will reveal the answer."

My Coach SEAL: A Grumpy Opposites Attract Second Chance Romance by Jaylee Rowse is the sweet, sweet story of Bella, Sebastian, and their children. Ninety-nine percent of the people in the narrative are sweet with the exception being Bella’s soon-to-be ex-husband. I’ve never read a book where most of the characters were so sweet to each other. The language and the dialogue are sweetly descriptive and flowery, and other than some much-needed transitions here and there to keep readers from getting lost and having to backtrack, the book had a good plotline. This is my first book by Jaylee Rowse, and did I say that it was SWEET?

With this grumpy opposites attract second chance romance, Miss Rowse introduces readers to the reluctant SEAL Sebastian and his long time love Bella. Sebastian must recover from the break up on prom night that happened fifteen years ago.. Bella is recovering from the recent break up of her marriage to Daniel because of his infidelity.
Bella makes the decision to move back to her hometown in Vermont, and meet up with her friend Grace. Who just happened to be Sebastian’s sister. Sebastian just happens to be the football coach to Henry, Bells’s son. Sebastian slowly works his way back into Bella’s heart. While Daniel worms his way into Bella’s life to try to get custody of the children. Who wins Bella’s heart? The football coach and Bella’s lifelong love or the father of her children?

Bella finally figures out that her husband, Daniel, isn't going to change his cheating ways, boots him out the door, and files for divorce, asking for full custody of their two children. Moving back to Vermont is a good decision for Bella, Henry, and Lara, and Bella gets to open her own flower shop which is where she is when her high school flame, Sebastian, comes in for flowers to put on his wife's grave. This story has plenty of romance with a little steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.
