Elle Gray lives in a small town with her 2 cats, and her handsome husky. As a girl, she was obsessed with crime novels and thrillers.
Today, she loves writing and creating thrilling novels with courageous, strong heroes/heroines and dangerous psychopaths. She invites you to join her exciting world of detectives and FBI agents that take down killers and kick butt.
Watching Her is the twentieth book in the Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thrillers series by Elle Gray. This is a binge-worthy cocktail of high-stakes suspense, emotional depth, and relentless twists. Across the sprawling series, we follow Blake Wilder (a fiercely intelligent FBI agent with a shadowy past as well as a personal vendetta) as she hunts killers, unravels conspiracies, and confronts the ghosts that refuse to stay buried. What made this series stand out for me was the great balance of grit, intrigue, and emotion. The cases are sharp, fast-paced, and satisfyingly unpredictable, but it was Blake’s personal journey - her resilience, vulnerability, and razor-sharp instincts - that hooked me and had me completely invested in her and the outcome of each story. If you love strong, complex heroines, morally tangled mysteries, and a series that keeps upping the stakes without losing its emotional core, then this is sure to be your next obsession. A gripping, fast-burning thriller series that’s as much about justice as it is about survival - and it was impossible to read just one. Happy Reading…
This was another intense, complex, and suspenseful story in this fantastic series. I would highly recommend that you read the series from the beginning. Each book is about a current case the team is working, however there are a few secondary plots that continue for several books, like the subject of this particular story. They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you certainly won't be disappointed. I have been hooked on this series since the first book, and I love Blake and her team. However, unlike most other people, it's not about the mayhem, the gruesome crimes, or the criminals for me. I enjoy reading mystery/thrillers like these because I find the minds of the investigators fascinating. It's their drive, determination, the focus and ability to figure out the complicated puzzles, and so much more that's really intriguing. I truly appreciate all of the First Responders. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I guess I'm about ready for this series to end. I had hoped that Blake and Kid worked together on some incredible cases and not to say that the ones that are being covered are not good, its just getting old and frustrating that for as much as Blake's training and everything she has gone through, you'd think that it would not be easy to get the drop on her as everyone seems to do and not only that... how she just runs into things with out back-up ... training 101. Some of the things are just getting to me, so I guess that's why I'm ready for this series to end. I think 20+ books is more then good.
We started this series with Paxton and a deep tunnel of scary. I cannot begin to tell you how good this book is. If you have read this series from the beginning you will understand. If you haven't then you have missed to many good reads. Thank you Elle Gray. I love your stories. One request...no more couches perpendicular. It sat across. Maybe it could be kiddie-corner. A silly observation from someone that spends a great deal of time with you. Salute!
After busting thru these books in about 5 months, I’m glad we got some resolution of a bad guy character that has spanned, what, 5 books? Felt strung along, but the other stories were good, but I would have been ticked off if Elle pushed this case along again. Enjoyed the series and am reading the Falls stories as well. Keep em coming.
After reading 19 installments it's a.amazing that #20 could still be a gripping tale demanding I read the second half in one sitting.. Ms Grey grabbed my attention immediately when I realized the would tis up the Euros story line. It was worth the wait. I'm reading all six series by Elle and find each to be worth my time. Good reading for all murder mystery enthusiasts!
I’m glad I retired because I haven’t had a chance to read at leisure for many years now. But the cliffhanger at the end of each of these books has kept me going. I look forward to seeing what will happen to Blake as she continues on up the ladder. I love the team atmosphere, and all of the characters are engaging and special. I’m sure I will continue reading even though I’m glad this chapter of her career is done, and the scumbag is dead.
FBI Agent Blake Wilder and her team are hunting a serial killer. A part of her job they have sone many times before only this time is different. This serial killer is always one step ahead of the team and is focused on Blake. He calls and taunts her and lets her know his end game is to kill her. When he kills a young woman who reminds Blake of her sister Kit it becomes personal and it could cost her life.
OMG. This is the best thriller I have read in awhile. I could not put this book down. This is a great series. Believe me anyone who reads this book will not be able to put this book down. This book keeps you in suspense until the very end. I highly recommend this book and series.
Elle Gray’s writing in Watching Her (Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thriller Book 20) is as intriguing and fascinating as the rest of her books. Watching how her team works to bring killers down and the dramatic ending of Watching Her was a work of thrilling storytelling. She is one of the best mystery thriller authors.
Watching Her(Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thriller Book 20)
This book had me hooked from the very beginning, it was terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. In one instance you have a very viscous murderer and in the next instance you have a very intelligent person messing with the mind of the lead investor. You didn't know who was going to win until the very end.
I have really enjoyed this series and characters. The writer does an excellent job of character development. You can get a real sense of who they are as individuals. Blake is not a super hero who is always right and wins every fight. She is human and a complicated person who loves her job; is always trying to find herself and tries hard to have a personal life. Keep them coming!
This was a excellent story about Blake and team finding out who is killing people and who is after Blake with no clues until the end . This story had lots is suspense and action and drama . The criminal didn’t get away. Thank you for a awesome book Elle.
As usual, this well written story is full of action, suspense and even some snarky humor. The Blake Wilder series has been a favorite since the first story. This author is one of the best!
Blake is showing some growth and is nearing in on getting the serial killer whose been chasing her. Curious to see what’s next as she’s now taken down multiple bad guys and things could’ve mostly wrapped up in this one
Kept in the dark in what seems like forever, the team keeps.i working to get some lead to the killer. He seems to be brash enough to tease Blake providing some movement toward him. Really a good mystery. Get to it
I like Elle Greys writing, this series has been very interesting. Blake Wilder has come full circle with all the death and destruction. If you enjoy suspenseful books read these.
Watching Her was extremely intriguing. The storyline moved in a smooth but can't wait to turn the page reading. This series continues to amaze me and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
This entire series is awesome. Blake is my shero. But how she gets to be that is an interesting. Intriguing climb. I have almost read the entire series. Wish they would make a movie.
In Blake Wilder’s world and she comes out smelling like a rose! Very satisfying installment in a terrific thriller series. You must start at book one to get the full experience here so get busy and catch up if you can, it’s worth it . You’re welcome, btw.
I will never tire of reading Blake Wilder books! Every single one is just as good, if not better, than the last. Now looking forward to the release of 21.
“Watching Her” is probably in the top five of Elle Gray’s Blake Wilder series. A well put together story line that keeps the reader’s interest going strong. Anticipating the next Blake Wilder read to be here as soon as possible!
Ms. Gray never ceases to amaze me with her stories. She keeps you interested during the process. I can't wait for her next installment , Thanks for the Great Read!
