I read this book when it was first released and I'll be brutally honest, it wasn't the best book I had read from Adam Laws - I wasn't even going to review the book because I normally enjoy his books. But, then i heard Adam Laws had updated his book via a post on Goodreads and had to give the book another chance and...
OMG! what an amazing rewrite - there is so much more depth to the poems and they're much more relatable. Every poem was a joy to read. Adam Laws may have published his book before it was ready, but he outdid himself in the rewrite! Well done! This book is well worth a read :)

Empowering!

Every once in a while, there comes a collection of poetry that resonates with a winning team. This inspiring collection is filled with resilience, redemption and winning the battle of the mind with determination.
The forces that try to stop one’s destiny are echoed throughout.
One of favourite parts: “You’re well on the rise, having bounced back from the lows and now meeting the highs – reaching the skies.”
Every poem had me punching the air... and the one that I feel crowns the lot is “Spreading”...., but you’ll have to buy a copy to find out why. Altogether brilliant!

Having read the new and improved version of this book, the poems are more ablaze with passion than before with better rhyme scheme.

Short, but lovely.

The poetry book is quite a short one, but the words etched on the page are poignant and very interesting.
