I wish I had this book years ago. I had no idea of all the changes that take place during this time in life. Everyone should read this book, extremely important and helpful. Cannot recommend this book enough!
The author offers advice on the following topics: embracing the wisdom of menopause; the dreaded hormones; oh no, here it comes; braving the absurdity of menopause; finding stability amidst the turmoil; creating a vibrant life; pigging out at the races; and the therapy circus.

Ok, I absolutely love this book! I am a total nerd when it comes to menopause and hormones. It is so interesting how our bodies change. As a midwife, I see many patients struggling through menopause and there is so much to teach that I don’t have time for in the clinic. The author brings this down to a level that every woman will understand and gain knowledge from! Back to the basics! Menopause is normal, it’s physiological, and she not only goes over typical treatments but also homeopathic treatments as well. She makes this a beautiful read as well, this one is staying on my bookshelf!!
