Miami Homicide Lieutenant Nash Harrington has his eyes set on a relaxing weekend getaway to the Florida Keys, and a little fishing and nightlife are just what the doctor ordered.
But when his first night in Key West ends with a pair of bodies and a man in body armor trying to kill him, a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Someone is out to put Harrington in the ground, and they’ve got trained mercenaries at their disposal.
On the heels of the first attempt on his life, a second gunman comes calling, and Nash quickly finds himself with no safe haven, not even in his own home.
But who is behind the attempts and pulling the strings?
For Harrington, the answer lies in his relentless pursuit of the truth, and his own survival is the only prize worth claiming.

E.H. Reinhard has done it several times. And each time seems to be better than the last. His characters always have a ring of truth about them. The procedural details always ring true. Put all this together and the reader has a fast paced, tension building novel. Reinhard’s novels are not five hundred page works of boredom. They are fast moving, short chapters that keep the reader in the plot.
Today is Wednesday morning. I started this book Monday night. Read just a couple of chapters. Tuesday evening I picked the book up. I did not want to put it down. Like most of his books, action packed fast, moving, and an awesome storyline. With that being said, Nash has a bounty on him. Some unknown person put a hit on Nash. Amy and Nash are going out of town for the weekend down to the Keys. Trouble follows them. I’m not gonna tell you anymore about the book except I do recommend it. There are some ugly words, but not too many..
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.
Concise, fun and intriguing but Reinhard makes him into a great character, just like Ben Porter in his five book series on Amazon Unlimited. Try him also!
