Sheri Sinykin was lead author of the Magic Attic Club series in the mid-90s, and published nine other books for young readers. She lives in Wisconsin and in Arizona."
Ahh, books from my childhood. :) This was a great series, I read almost all of them, but I didn't want to go through and add all of them, so I'll just add this general one. :P Maybe I'll read these again someday!
I am one of the lucky ones who discovered Magic Attic Club when it was already out of print. This series was really my first gateway into time travel in books and I credit them for why I love Doctor Who today. I would go to the used book store my mom worked for prior to my birth and would audibly scream when I'd find more in the series. Almost out of my teens, I've still kept my copies from when I first read them. I only just recently picked up Heather and the Pink Poodles, my favorite as a kid. Through every spring cleaning, they have stayed. I ask for ones I don't own for gifts and I recently reread all the ones I own to see if they were as good as I remembered them to be. They still are. For those of you looking for copies for yourself or your child, most of the series is available on EBay or Amazon for under five dollars. I've acquired mine through luck at used bookstores but do still consider the online option for my favorite titles.
