Three stars for a great language-learning tool 😅 As for a book itself it's nothing more than a Norwegian soap-opera. Cliche characters with a slow-paced plot driven by cheap drama only. The premises is nice though: 19th century Lofoten, which are one of the most beautiful country's landmarks and huge touristic attraction nowadays, with all its dangers of fishing in the treacherous Northern Sea. Although that was 16th! book in the series, I had no problem following the story - that's how predictable this is. Anyway, as I said it was good as a Norwegian language practise: it helped me a lot to learn to understand dialect which is a huge issue in that country.
