A man returns home from a place where he has been subjected to a mysterious procedure. A future in which the rich and powerful live on high, in crystal globes, and the have-nots live in the 'netherworld', in the care of the government, which provides them with the means of subsistence and entertainment. Here, Osman Russo, a programmer, who has chosen to live in the 'netherworld' and is involved in designing and producing sophisticated virtual realities, is asked to go and repair a malfunction at the home of the president's son. While testing the device, he unexpectedly meets Vera, a woman who appears to be produced by the machine. Osman leaves without having completed his operation and is contacted by Homeland Security. But who is Ember Nebula, head of Security, calling him to collaborate with the woman he has always loved on a project that could stop the deaths of hundreds of people? And why is someone trying to kill him?

About the author

Luigina Sgarro was born , the youngest of five children, in Rutigliano in the province of Bari. Consultant for companies, psychologist, psychotherapist and coach, writer with a passion for photography, she mostly worked for large companies and with the University of Tor Vergata. To her credit she also has an experience as radio speaker.
She contributed to the anthologies " Abyss Wave " and " True to the Myth “ and got awards in various literary contests including the RILL in more than one edition, Il Sentiero del Drago, AlberoAndronico , " Speciale Donna " , NASF and won 2008 edition of contest " La Fenice " with the collection " Quasi Amore " . Finalist of the contest " Fantascienza.com " of Delos , in 2006, with the novel “Il Vento del Tempo” .
