What a fantastic read twist and turns everywhere
Well, this is one brilliant book that I just could not put down.
I really like Sophie from the beginning of this book I think she had a bad hand handed to her with her dads attitude to her living alone. But the fireworks really started when she was sent to work with a company that her father uses to landscape his properties. He’s known Aiden awhile and he trust him to make sure he’s hard on his daughter Wyatt McEvoy wanted Sophie to learn what it was like to earn a wage.
When Aiden and Sophie meant it was like fireworks went off. He was getting her to do things that were already done, and Sophie is a sassy young lady who tells him exactly what she thinks of him, so you can imagine when these two got together it was really explosive. Sophie admitted to herself that she found him very attractive.
One time, Sophie forgot her credit cards at work, so she went back and came face-to-face with the fact that Aidan was gay. He was full on with another man, and Sophie couldn’t help but watch and get turned on. That was until the other man saw her, but he didn’t do anything other than putting on a show. But then Aiden caught sight of her.
Kyle admitted to Eden that he found Sophie attractive, and as both he and Aidan are bisexual, maybe she is the perfect woman to join their relationship. What do you think happens next??
I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed this book, and to be honest I didn’t want it to end because there was so many twists and turns, I was just hooked to the storyline. Kyle is just awesome so open-minded, passionate, understanding and patient. He is just the perfect man for Aiden, who is moody, but he’s had a lot to deal with and until you get the full story you won’t understand. I certainly didn’t see the twist coming towards the end of this book. Sophie had to grow up so quickly and she comes across more mature in her thinking. Oh believe me she’s a brat. She’s such a sassy little thing that knows how to play to get what she wants, but she hasn’t had an easy life. But when she sees Aiden and Kyle, she knows exactly what will make her happy. It’s yummmmmmy!!
I cannot wait to read more from this author.

What a fabulous MMF story!
I cannot tell you how exciting this is, I had difficulties putting it down until I was finished. I am usually only interested in mm books but I just have to say that Sophie brings such an amazing chemistry to her and Aiden and Kyle it's just simply amazing! And Sophie has such a smart mouth and is so exciting, I had to read to see what she was going to say next! And she is absolutely hilarious! When she wants to be! And the sex? I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the sex scenes were! I have read several MMF books in the past but this one outshines them all! This is one that I will read over and over! I am definitely looking for the next offering from Lacee Hightower!❤️🔥💕🤗

Beautiful Twisted Things: a mmf romance.
Aiden gets landed with looking after a friend and business acquaintance's daughter. Sophia is a lot younger than him and he should know better, so he treats her like dirt to deflect the growing attraction he has to her. Kyle, Aiden s long term partner, agrees she would make a perfect bed partner for them, but then he also develops feelings for Sophia. And so the romance develops.
Now this is a bog standard plot line, the difference this book has is that it includes some interesting back stories and emotional drama along the way.
My only problem was, and maybe it's just me, but I could sense when the author was hurrying to finish a section, or a chapter, or even the end of the book. There were moments of really in depth, interesting ideas, great chances to develop the characters and extend the plot, but they were missed
While the story is good, I felt there was quite a bit going on in the backstories that could have spilled over into another interesting story. Or maybe the author could have made the one novel into a couple of novellas.
For me, and I'm reading the arc remember, the story has all the right ingredients, it just needed polishing a bit more. Maybe that will be done by publication.
Would give 3.5 stars if I could.

Sophie is forced to leave college by her father after he goes to her apartment and finds sex toys, drugs and alcohol. He ends up telling her that she either works for the summer or pay for her apartment herself. She ends up working and he gets her a job at a nursery. Her boss Aiden treats her like crap thinking that she is a spoiled princess and she gives him just as much attitude that he does. Aiden's partner, Kyle, decides that they should make Sophie their third but Aiden doesn't want too even though he is into her. Kyle tells Sophie and she agrees to it but Aiden tells her that they will not touch her til her 20th birthday which is a couple weeks away. The night of her birthday they end up sleeping with her. Then she finds out that Kyle is her best friends father, then another plot twist Aiden was seeing Sophie's dad (when she was a baby). Sophie's dad finds out about their relationship. Kyle and Aiden don't see Sophie for almost a year before they decide to go after her. They finally do and take her back to their cabin. This was a quick read and the scenes between all three were good. I didn't see that coming with Aiden being with her dad, that was crazy!!.

Let's start with the important stuff. Yes, this book is delightfully spicy. Age-gap, alpha MMC, his partner, and his business associate's daughter.
Sophie is being punished for her "deviant" behavior while away at college. The punishment is a summer working for her father's business associate, Aiden, a landscape designer. You can see the plot coming from a mile away. Then enter Aiden's partner, Kyle. Sparks fly. Queue spice.
I loved Kyle and Aiden. I could have read an entire book just about the two of them. Sophie was fine. I didnt particularly connect with her character. There was a bit of a will- they-won't-they but when they do, holy smokes! Aiden delivers. I actually began to like Sophie within the context of their thruple. Maybe Kyle just makes everyone better. He's my favorite.
Just when everything begins to solidify, a secret is revealed, and we face the dreaded 3rd Act. Was it necessary? No. Did I gasp aloud? Abso-freaking-lutely!!
I actually would have enjoyed more time getting to know Sophie and men a little more. We didn't have enough time to really live in their relationship and watch them grow together. Overall this was an enjoyable, well-paced read.

This was an interesting book. There are so many interconnected threads that start out like a starfish, then come together in the center to create all sorts of complications on several different fronts. Essentially, Sophie gets dragged home after her freshman year of college, dad has arranged a job for her with a friend, she doesn’t get along with her boss, her boss’s boyfriend propositions her for a threesome, and all heck breaks loose. There is a fiery attraction between Kyle and Sophia, and Aiden and Sophia, and a smokin’ hot 9 year relationship between Kyle and Aiden. There are conflicts with family and friends, unexpected past secrets, insecurities, desires hard to control, steamy scenes, and a love for three on the line. Hard to put this one down, characters are really interesting, and the road to the finish is pretty bumpy, but love wins in the end. I really enjoyed it.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Loved Sophie's strong attitude, and the fact that she refused to back down to anyone. Especially Aiden. And that scene where she walks in on Aiden and Kyle...Holy Smoke! That was awesome! The heat factor in this book is boiling hot, but there's also humor and sadness throughout the story. Lacee has a way of bringing out her character's emotions in a way that captures your attention and heart from beginning to end. Even with the age gap, boss/employee aspect, as well as the unexpected curveball thrown at us toward the end, it's a great MMF love story about three people who refuse to give up.

This MMF book is a well-written and edited story about how love doesn't always fall into stereotypical categories. It's fluid and may be found at any stage of life, with any other person(s) and without regard to labels that may be attached to them. It's an interesting take on a triad story and it has a couple of unexpected twists. I admit that I saw one of them coming, but not the second one. No spoilers here!
If you are fine with reading about polyamorous sex, including 2 bisexual men and the one they love, then check out this book. There's an HEA and no cheating while in the committed relationship.

I must say that I love this author’s work! Beautiful Twisted Things tells the story of Aiden and Kyle, long term bi-sexual partners, and 20 year old Sophie, a college student.
The book is well written, the characters are beautifully created, the storyline is intense and captivating from the outset. It’s a fast paced, extreme age-gap, MMF erotic romance
A really marvellous read that I couldn’t put down and devoured enthusiastically. A recommended 5 star read if you’re a fan of dark and delicious kink!.

After being caught by her father with some alcohol and weed, he demanded that Sophie come home and work for the summer. Working for Aidan was the worse when he kept being a jerk to her but once she met his partner, Kyle, everything changed. The beginning was a little rough but once past that, the story was actually pretty good especially everyone's backstory.

I couldn't put this book down
This was a fantastic book, so well written, I really felt for the characters, what they had been through and how that impacted on them and their relationships. There were some scenes I found quite emotional, and there were a couple of twists which I did not see coming and really added depth to the storyline.

Wow! Superb writing and expressing of the characters. There is a lot to unpack. This book grabs your attention, keeps you wanting to read. The depth of the characters, their emotions, their past, and what they have together grabs your heartstrings.

Let me start with a warning. There are several reviews others have posted that will spoil the suprises you don't want them to. I don't know why people do this as it's selfish and unfair. I made the mistake of glancing at one and had them ruin it for me. So my advice is, don't read any reviews until after you have read the book.
Personally I really liked this story. At first I thought I wouldn't because Aiden was such a jerk to her. I adored Kyle and Sophie made my heart ache at how alone she felt. So desperately defiant. The chemistry between the three of them was incredible. They were three very different people and together they really did make sense. All in all this was a really enjoyable book.

Beautiful Twisted Things
I was instantly and completely captured by the love that came through the pages exposing Aiden and Kyle for who they were-- unequivocally each others soulmate. Add Sophie to their fire and it was a hot combustion! You love who you love and it's really nobody else's business! Hell yes.
