Sadie always thought she had the potential to become a Final Girl. It’s why she bought the tickets for Slashed, a haunted house attraction that provides an immersive experience of a slasher movie. The attraction promised a night of thrilling fun for her and her friends, and it would be the perfect opportunity for Sadie to prove herself.
However, Slashed is more challenging than Sadie expected. With its neon lights and horrifying twists, the night meant to be fun rapidly turns into a frightening search for an exit. But soon, Sadie finds herself being stalked by a masked scare actor who seems to put on a bloody performance just for her, and she begins to wonder… Is it all part of the experience, or is it all secretly real?
As the chase between them ensues, Sadie realizes she must do whatever it takes to escape the house, even if it includes seducing the mysterious silver mask hunting her.
Slashed is a short Halloween-themed horror novella intended for mature audiences. It contains triggers, adult themes, and explicit content, reader discretion is advised.

This stranger, a cold-blooded killer, is my ataraxia.
listen, i know i’m not the final girl material. i will be most likely the dumb blonde who always dies first.
i can count the horror movies i’ve watched in my entire life in one hand so i don’t know how to run if i see a serial killer.☹️ also what’s the point? he will kill me eventually so why should i try?✋🏻
so just like i don’t watch horror movies, i don’t read horror books either. but when i saw 6’+, possesive masked man in Sarah Beth’s review, i knew i had to read this😋
I’M OBSESSED‼️‼️ this story kept me on edge. what you’ll find if you decide to read this?
final girl x killer 🔪 obsessed masked man 😋 chasing, knife to throat🤭 darling count: 18 😍
“It’s an honor to be on my knees for you,”
“You get to survive, Final Girl,” Silver Mask promises, tapping my chin with his thumb.
🚨BESTIES i’m begging you, drop whatever you’re reading and go read this‼️🤭💖😍😋
bonus silver mask: i killed 4 people final girl: wanna be yours <3 silver mask: your friend is in hospital because of me final girl: wanna be yours <3
Hm...I...uh...have thoughts on this. Just not sure how to organize them. Here goes nothing...so after all of the warnings and advisories leading in, I was fully prepared for some truly depraved sexual acts. And, don't get me wrong, the sex was written very well between our antagonist, 'Silver Mask' and our not-so-final girl, Sadie. Hot stuff and got my blood flowing so early in the morning, but it wasn't anything really intense, making me feel a bit let down. A serial killer, in costume, in a haunted house, with a girl that he has trapped, after murdering her friend? Like this should've gotten really out of hand nasty. But it never quite got there. However, what we got, as far as the sex, was definitely the highlight, as the rest of the story greatly suffered from a lack of proper development. Things like Sadie not having much of an emotional response after realizing her friend was killed, still more focused on Silver Mask than anything else. And I wanted a lot more on her fetish for this kind of thing. Maybe the book starts with a scene of her masturbating to Leatherface or something like that before she heads to the haunted house, to just really emphasize her kink. Anything would have sufficed. But it just all felt quite choppy and didn't find a decent flow. The ending was also a huge letdown and further took a solid, unnerving erotica concept like this, reducing it to a haphazard romance, with no real resolution or logic. Good premise, but a very mediocre and confusing follow through.
#️⃣ 114-page novella 👹 Haunted house survival game setting 👩🏻 “Final girl” FMC x masked man MMC 💋 Insta-lust 🔚 HFN, open-ended 🌶️ Mask kink 🌶️ Dominant dirty talk (by MMC)
If you’re looking for a quick, smut heavy and plot lite read that’s perfect for the height of Halloween season, CHECK THIS OUT!
Sadie, our horror-loving FMC, has convinced her friends to compete in a haunted house style survival attraction, where a group of players are let into a house with scare actors and fight to become the “Final Girl” or Final Boy or Final Person.
Just before their group’s turn, Sadie catches the eye of one scare actor in particular, a man in a silver Devil mask, who leaves with the dark and seductive promise of finding her in the attraction.
Sadie is certainly in for a night of sex and scares, all the better to combine them, but who really is under that Silver Mask?
Read and find out🤭
HOWEVER, I almost want a sequel or bonus scene after that post credits epilogue. I know it probably made the most sense to end like that, but a HEA girl can hope?
DAMN, THIS WAS SO GOOOOOOOD!!! The perfect Halloween novella that had me feeling some type of WAY 💦💦 and the face that it’s a slasher based novella!?! Ugh perfection. I need someone to make a haunted house experience like this because I would 10000% go!!
If we don’t get another book or a full one I’m gonna SUE!
I love the “final girl” concept & reading any book that has that makes me SO HAPPY!! This plus the mask fetish we all somehow love was a great combo!! I like that we never got to see the MMC 😏
I read Slashed because the author posted a TikTok. This is how all my bad decisions start 😂
My big problem with this novella is the ending. If it had ended at chapter 6, I would have given it a higher rating. It was so ominous. What are his motives? Does he like her or does he want to kill her? However, when the killer revealed himself and was like, “I was gonna kill myself that night until I saw you,” all the mystery went away. The fun part of this premise is the danger, the intrigue, and not knowing what’s behind the mask.
“Who do you belong to?” “You,” I respond instantly. “I belong to you.” “Good girl.”
I have an EMBARRASSING amount of highlights for this read, I was not expecting to love it so much, but well...yeah. I'm adding the paperback to my wishlist as we speak and Miss Sanchez, I WILL BE REQUIRING A SEQUEL PRONTO!!!! You can't leave us hanging like this, it would be a crime.
Was this novella a prolific masterpiece? No. So why did i give it 5 stars? Because i wanted a masked love interest, in a haunted house, with chef’s kiss spice in the form of the novella. And this one delivered! It was short, sweet, to the point and everything i was Loki my for!
This was honestly hot af😮💨 what is wrong with me bahahaha
Who doesn’t want to be hunted down in a “haunted house” by a masked “scare actor” (spoiler; he killed the real scare actor) and gets his c*m smeared all over you when he catches you eeeeek
That being said, I gave it 5⭐️s for the fact that it’s a short book and it was well written, also the tension and pace was just *chefs kiss*
I don’t like the ending at all. The tone and feeling completely changed and it felt like I was reading a different book. It really ruined the story for me
Though, if I'm honest, I think I could make a good final girl, not just here, but in a real slasher setting. I know I could live through it, or l've fooled myself into thinking I could.
A short story that hooked me from the start till the end.
Definitely a really interesting reimagination of a final girl horror story. 👀
Think of the movie Scream but in a horror attraction and with some very delicious smut! This was perfect for a halloween novella, fast, hot and with so much mystery. Silver mask, aka our mmc, was obviously insane - he is a masked killer after all - but boy was he hot! It wasn’t just the fact that he wore a mask or that he was lethal, which, I won't deny, both played a big role … but the mystery around him had me lured as much as the fmc, Sadie.
I actually liked how the plot wasn’t focused on revealing the mcs’ background or developing some plot too big for a short book. It was an easy read with magnetic chemistry between the characters, great spice, nice characters surrounded with mystery. Even though the book left me with questions, it left me satisfied. Perhaps it was those lasting questions that made it so enjoyable.
I have to comment however that it can’t be considered as an intense horror romance. Don’t expect to be afraid. There were the 90’s horror movies elements, which I loved, but I didn’t feel terrified or even anxious and I’m skirmish af. The characters though … they were scared sh*tless and it made the plot so much fun!
Sadie loves a challenge and horror, so when she goes to a haunted attraction to play the final girl, she's excited! Even if her and her friend group are paired with some jocks who bug them to death. The games already started, and she already has a scare actor already spotting her. Rules make it out alive, lol. So they start its easy at first, nothing bad, a couple jumps, screams, and now they are running. She does think it's all fake.
So when they finally get a moment, she's all over him the spice the banter between them was delicious. What girl wouldn't love to bang a scare actor, lol. Until the night ends, she finds out it was all real. But why did he spare her.
This kinda ended on an HFN? Maybe the author might do another novella between them? Who knows.

⤿ .`★ I crave her. Obsession has laced a red thread around our souls, and bonding our lives until the moment death comes for one of us. I hope, when that fatal day arrives, that it takes me first. No hell would be worse than breathing in a world without her in it.
‧ * ₊ 。 ꒰🍁꒱ I’m not one who typically enjoys reading about romance where someone is a murderer, but the promotional instagram posts drew me in. This was the perfect Halloween romance (I should’ve been patient and waited to read this 💔💔) and it was also short! I would’ve loved to have a full novel about these two and see how their relationship develops. I read this in one sitting and I craved more 😭 The note Kill left was SO perfect.
I’ll come back to you. Don’t forget, you’re always mine. Forever mine, final girl. Yours, Kill.
Girl wtf. Considering this book is only 100 pages and I took 5 days to finish it says enough. This is hands down one of the worst books I have ever read. I never had a wattpad era but I imagine this reads exactly like one of those fanfics. The characters are beyond cringe and creepy. Not a single interaction felt organic or meaningful. It was cringe after cringe. He literally almost kills her friend, kills like 6 other people while she’s in the haunted house and traumatises everyone involved and she has sex with him?????? Hello??? What???? We only got the description for the love interest 94% of the way through! And then the last line is us finding out this mfkers name, which btw IS KILL?!?!?!?!?! 😭 was so uncomfortable reading this story. Would rate it lower if possible
not the best book I've read, really far from it. But from a scary movie lover such as me, this was good. The little thrill of the haunted house and the hot masked MMC chasing her. Giving it 3 starts because there was nothing wrong with it and not giving it 4/5 because it wasn't a favorite. Just a good little read
