Wright Kind of Trouble was my favorite kind of read. Age gap, forbidden romance(enemy’s little sister), and the best kind of angsty read.

Chase and Harley have one night together which is nothing short of spectacular. He knows she’s a Wright, but he doesn’t care. Until he finds out she’s 10 years younger than him and a college student. So he decides the best course of action is to wait. But waiting seems near impossible. These two can’t seem to stay away from each other.

This book spans several years and let me tell you, the chemistry Chase and Harley have is undeniable. They cannot stay away. It’s impossible when they both know that against all odds, they belong together. I loved the angst and the hiding. I am thrilled these two are getting a second book because I need more of them and their story. So thankful the next book will be out soon!

Ok. WOWSER, did I LOVE THIS! I love a good age gap, forbidden romance read, but this was top tier! This was THE perfect weekend binge read. This took over a few hours of my Sunday, and I couldn’t think of anything better than to spend my day with Harley and Chase.
These two meet at a wedding, and have an instant intense connection and chemistry that will melt your panties. They spend one unforgettable night together, but when Chase learns Harley’s age, he has to put a halt to it. Despite how strongly these two feel for one another, they know they need to put things on hold, and keep it quiet.
This is told over a period of a few years as Harley goes through college. The angst over these years, being apart, longing for one another, had me unable to put this down. Chase is SO easy to fall for, fiction or not. He is without a doubt, one in a million.I felt the butterflies throughout the entire book.
Just when you think things are going to be easy, the author leaves us with an abrupt cliffhanger that will leave you pining and panting for more.
I’m counting down until I get my hands on the second book to this duet. I am TEAM HARLEY AND CHASE!

Harley and Chase have an instant, intense, and dynamic attraction to each other which quickly ignites, but, just as quickly hits in issues which force them apart. Told over the course of a few years their intermittent meetings prove that time and separation has done little to dim the light between them.
I really enjoyed this first of two books and fell for both characters. Chase is definitely at a severe disadvantage owing to the poor behaviour of other members of his family leading to animosity from the Wright clan. Harley is strong, determined and passionate. She is as committed to Chase as he is to her, but can they be together? 💖💖💖💖💖

I Need Wright Kind of Love NOW!!!

From the moment that Chase meets Harley they have an instant connection and spark.

Chase is a Sinclair and Harley is a Wright and also the sister of his enemy. The enemy (Harley’s brother) that is marrying the woman that Chase was almost engaged to.

Harley knows that her brother can’t find out what happened or who knows what they will do to Chase.

That ending - I need the next book now!!!

I didn’t want it to end and now I need book 2!
The Incredible chemistry between the Harley and Chase… will keep you glued to the pages.
I’m not a fan of age gap usually but the author wrote their story beautifully.
Their relationship is doomed from the very start but no matter how hard they try … they always find their way back to each other…. At what cost?
Loved it, KA Linde can’t go wrong with Wright.

I didn’t know this is actually a duet 😫

And Blake and Bailey’s story is hanging too! I need to know what’s going to happen next! On to my review:

Wright Kind of Trouble is a captivating contemporary romance novel that transports readers into a world filled with love, drama, and intrigue. The author's masterful storytelling skills are evident in the seamless way she intertwines complex emotions and relationships throughout the narrative. From the very first page, the book draws readers in with its engaging plot and well-developed characters that feel incredibly real and relatable.

One of the standout features of this novel is the palpable chemistry between the main characters, which adds a layer of depth and authenticity to their interactions. The slow-burning romance between the protagonists builds tension and anticipation, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they root for their love to blossom.

Moreover, Linde's vivid descriptions and attention to detail create a vivid backdrop for the story, allowing readers to immerse themselves fully in the world she has crafted. The pacing of the novel is spot-on, striking a perfect balance between heartwarming moments and unexpected twists that keep the reader engaged until the very end.

Overall, Wright Kind of Trouble is a compelling read that seamlessly blends romance, drama, and passion. With its well-crafted characters, captivating plot, and heartfelt romance, this book deserves a solid 4-star rating for its ability to whisk readers away on an emotional journey they won't soon forget.

4-star Review of Wright Kind Of Trouble (Wright Vineyard #7) by K.A. Linde

It was great to be back in Lubbock, Texas for Chase and Harley’s story. There was plenty of heat, angst, drama, and romance.

When they first met it was unforgettable, but when Chase learns how young Harley is he decides to back off.  Told over several years, the chemistry and attraction that sizzles between them is impossible to ignore.

There was so much keeping these two apart, not least of which is the fact that she is 10 years younger than him, but also the issues with their families.

Be prepared their story doesn’t end here and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Linde has in store for Chase and Harley in Wright Kind of Love.

Wright Kind of trouble is quite the age gap story. This book is about Harley Wright.
When she meets Chase, well lets just say secrets are kept due to her family issues.
I really did like how these two got along so well, but long distance, age and other certain things contribute to the conundrum of should they or shouldn’t they? But do they?
This is book one in a duet and I cannot wait for the rest of the story to come! Im going to need it!
A wonderful, enjoyable & steamy read!

Harley and Chase are everything I love about K.A. Linde’s books! Their journey so far is full of pining, angst, banter, obligations, and complicated family issues. I couldn’t help but cheer for them!

I loved how Chase is so supportive of Harley. He wants what is best for her and is even willing to step back when he isn’t the best thing for her.

Just when Harley and Chase think it’s finally their time, they have more battles to face. I’m so excited for more of these two in the sequel, Wright Kind of Love. Can it be April 15 already???

A modern day Romeo and Juliet. Harley and Chase come from opposing families with "bad blood" between them, but the heart wants who it wants, regardless of age. As Chase tries to give Harley the space to grow and finish school. The cosmos keeps pushing them together.
You can feel the angst from them being forced apart time and time again, but the chasm between their families is a powder keg waiting to blow. I am rooting for their HEA and will await book 2.

Wright Kind of Trouble by K.A. Linde is book 7 in the Wright Vineyard Series. This starts the story of Chase Sinclair and Harley Wright. Chase goes to his ex's wedding to get a ending to that chapter in his life. While there he meets Harley. They have a instant connection but they later find out that he is 10 years older than her and in a way an enemy of her family. This book does end with a cliffhanger setting us up with more in their story.

K.A. Linde's "Wright Kind of Trouble" offers a tantalizing mix of classic romantic tropes, from rival families to forbidden love and an enticing age gap. While it's the seventh installment in the Wright Vineyard series, newcomers need not fret as it can stand alone as a captivating read, though those familiar with the series will undoubtedly appreciate the added depth of backstory. Having never read Linde's work before, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance of passion and heart that made this book a page-turner from start to finish. I completely devoured this first book in the duet in one day!

The sizzling attraction between Harley, a bright-eyed college freshman, and Chase, a charming 29-year-old lawyer, ignites immediately when they meet at a wedding. Their chemistry is explosive, leading to one unforgettable night of passion. But when Chase discovers Harley's age, as well as her last name, he's forced to slam on the brakes and put their relationship on hold. Though they're both smitten, Chase knows it's not fair to pursue a romance with such a young woman. He asks Harley to wait for him until she graduates college, even though he's aware of how unfair it is. Despite the challenge, the two can't shake their powerful connection and are left wondering whether their love can survive the distance and time apart.

Chase and Harley’s story is told over four years and we witness Chase trying to give Harley the space she needs to mature and complete her education, but the universe seems to have other plans. Despite their efforts to stay apart, they repeatedly find themselves drawn together, unable to resist the intense chemistry that exists between them. Every time they're forced to part ways, the angst and frustration are palpable. However, the tension between their families adds another layer of complexity to their already challenging situation. Their families are at odds, and the potential for conflict looms large. As they try to navigate the challenges of their relationship while balancing the demands of their families and their respective life stages, Harley and Chase must decide whether their love is strong enough to endure the obstacles that stand in their way.

"Wright Kind of Trouble" is the first book in a captivating duet, but readers should be aware that it ends on a cliffhanger, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next installment. As Harley graduates from college, we're left wondering what her plans are for the future, and whether she and Chase can finally overcome the obstacles that have kept them apart. Their warring families remain a major source of tension, and it's unclear whether they'll ever be able to coexist peacefully. Meanwhile, Chase is facing new business responsibilities that threaten to pull him away from Harley. The next book in the duet releases on April 15th and you can bet that I will read it all that day!

When Harley Wright and Chase Sinclair have an unforgettable night together, it should have been the start of something beautiful. But once he found out how much younger she was (10 years younger), he backed way away. Not only is she not even of legal drinking age, but she's got her whole future ahead of her. There's no way Chase can in good conscience start something with her, even though he desperately wants to. Will she wait for him?

Harley may be ten years younger than the man she just had the most amazing night with, but she knows who and what she wants. If Chase Sinclair thinks she'll wait around for another 10 years for him, he's crazy... she deserves someone who will love her for her, not her age. And the fact that their families despise each other, even though neither she nor Chase have personal beef with each other, well, that's just another problem, but only if he lets it be.

Harley and Chase are meant to be, I could tell from their first meeting. This first part of their story takes place over several years, building up the tension and the feelings to the point that something has to give. I knew going into it that this was just the first part of a duet, but it didn't lessen my anxiety when the end of this one came and nothing was resolved, in fact everything was in tatters. So be forewarned that there's a brutal cliffhanger, but it's definitely worth reading as the two fall in love even though Chase fights it. By the time April rolls around, I'll be so impatient that I'll probably get through Wright Kind of Love in a few minutes 🤣

4.25 stars—WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE is the seventh instalment and part 1 in KA Linde’s contemporary, adult WRIGHT VINEYARD erotic, romance storyline focusing on attorney and billionaire businessman Chase Sinclair, and Harley Wright. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE runs parallel to, and crosses over with the events of the previous instalments.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Chase and Harley) covering approximately three years, WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE follows the forbidden relationship between our story line couple. Chase Sinclair’s ex wife Anne, met and fell in love with Harley’s half brother Julian, and in the ensuing time the Wright family remained at war with the Sinclairs. At the wedding of Julian and Anne, Chase Sinclair would meet Julian’s half-sister Harley Wright, a woman he would come to learn was ten years his junior. One night together ended with Chase pushing Harley out of his life but for three years they would find themselves pulled into one another’s orbit, never forgetting about the one that got away. With Harley’s college graduation fast approaching, our couple had to make a decision about their future, a future that may or may not involve one another. What ensues is the building romance and forbidden relationship between Chase and Harley, and the potential fall-out when the truth about their affair is revealed.

The world building focuses on the three year, on again off again relationship between our story line couple. Chase made a vow to wait three years before claiming our heroine as his own but the heart wanted more with every encounter. Keeping their relationship a secret meant the possibility of destroying Harley’s relationship with all of her brothers, a relationship that was predicated upon secrets and lies.

The relationship between Chase and Harley begins as a one-night stand in which Chase and Harley must keep their affair a secret from family and friends. Chase refuses to cross the proverbial line knowing the war between families continues to burn, and his love for Harley may threaten his future. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate with the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including most of the Wright extended family of siblings, half siblings, spouses, and spurned lovers and friends.

WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE is a story of forbidden love, secrets and lies, family and relationships, acceptance and forgiveness. The fasts paced premise is captivating, entertaining and intense; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are determined, desperate and stubborn. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Wright Kind of Trouble by K. A. Linde is the seventh book in the Wright Vineyard series and number 14 in the overall Wright series. As a follower of the series, the lives of the characters intrigue me and I look forward to each installment. Imagine my excitement when I learned this installment featured Harley Wright and Chase Sinclair's story.  Linde delivered a captivating tale featuring an age gap and forbidden romance tropes in The Wright Kind of Trouble.

The fact that The Wright Kind of Trouble revolved around two characters whose families were sworn enemies made this story one of my most anticipated reads for 2024. The feud between both families dates way back.  Therefore, a Wright and a Sinclair falling in love is a big no-no.  However, Chase and Harley definitely did not get the memo. Besides, when the heart wants what it wants, it will fight tooth and nail to get it.

The story takes readers on a captivating journey filled with romance and drama. A journey one will not want to end anytime soon. I had a blast with the newest book by Linde. My only regret lay in the fact that the journey ended abruptly and in such a shocking manner. Linde delivered a tale that would have readers rooting for the characters throughout the progression of the story. Readers get relatable and likeable characters and a riveting storyline that engages from the start to the finish.

The chemistry between Chase and Harley leapt from the pages. It was evident from the moment they came into contact with each other.  Despite the complications, they couldn't stay away from each other.  Their interactions held me captive throughout the story. I couldn't stop rooting for them. Watching their secret romance blossom over a period of time had me on the edge of my seat due to its forbidden nature.  Their stolen moments together warmed my heart.  It was in these moments that one saw how much they loved each other.  I wanted them to come clean with their families, but at the same time, I feared their reaction to the truth.  I knew it would not go well.

Secondary characters added depth to the story, and Harley's brothers definitely stirred the pot. I am eager to see how it all plays out, especially with the shocking cliffhanger. Bring on part two.

As the seventh book in the Wright Vineyard Series, Wright Kind of Trouble, is about a blossoming forbidden romance between two members of rival families that are ready to challenge the rivalry in order to be together. Linde’s newest duet will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!

Harley Wright’s life has been nothing if not complicated ever since finding out a twisted family secret that her dad hid from them growing up. It’s her along with her other siblings that were their dad’s dirty little secret as he hid them from his real family. So the anger and resentment towards him runs deep. Relocating to Lubbock, Texas from Seattle, Washington has made a difference in her life. Harley can finally spend some time with her extended family. The Wrights are royalty in town and she is about to attend Texas Tech University in hopes to get into a good law school. But life changes the course of her life the minute she meets Chase Sinclair. He is everything she wants, but can’t have. For he belongs to the enemy family her own family hates. Yet, there is a pull towards him that she can’t deny and no matter how much distance they put between them, she can’t help but to fall in love with him.

Chase Sinclair has everything he could ever want, he has a prominent law firm and his name is well-known in town. But his relationship with his dad and the family rivalry between the Wrights is not the best. Not when his best friend and ex-girlfriend is about to marry into that family. He has never been more hated and his presence along is not wanted in the Wright’s circles. Chase should have declined attending the wedding, but not only does it bring him closure, it also gives him a chance to meet Harley. She is different and they clicked right away. Chase knows that he should walk away from her, he can’t get his heart broken again. Yet, the longer they are together, the harder it becomes to let her go.

I throughly enjoyed reading Wright Kind of Trouble, we have two characters who are in different stages in their lives, but they have such undeniable chemistry. Harley understands Chase and he finds her refreshing to be around. They know the chaos that it would cause if their families were to find out that are together, not only is he part of the enemy family, but also ten years older than her. But just as they are ready to show off their relationship, life throws them another curveball that will test their relationship once again. I cannot wait to read what happens next in the duet, would highly recommend checking out this book as well as any other from the author. You will not regret it! :)

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The next Wright series book and couple have arrived, and it is a duet. The second part comes out in April. This is Harley and Chase's story, and it was so good. It's filled with an age gap, family enemies, and is a forbidden romance.

It is told in three parts, and we get both Chase and Harley's POV.

The first part is the wedding, and we get to attend Jordan Wright's wedding to Annie. If you have read "Wright With Benefit's", you will remember that Chase is Annie's ex. He is also Ashleigh's brother, who once dated Julian Wright. (Julian's story is featured in "Serves Me Wright".)

Harley Wright is one of the newly discovered Wright's and Jordan and Julian are her half-brothers (different mom/2nd family). Her brothers are Whitt and West and she is the baby in the family. She is cousin to the original Wright series siblings, Jenson, Austin, Landon, Morgan and Sutton.

I highly suggest you read the first book in the series, "Wright With Benefits", a lot happens in that book that ties into this book. But if you don't, the first part in this book also explains what happened in the past, so it can also be read as a standalone.

This is also an age gap story. The gap is really big but when Chase meets Harley, he thinks she is in her early 20's to his 29 years. He falls for Harley, before he learns that she is only a college freshman. I want to put that out there for those who might be upset by this kind of huge age gap. I really wanted Harley and Chase's story, as it's been building in the last few Wright Vineyard stories, so it was not an issue for me.

The second part of the story is called Pining and it's the majority of this book. It also takes place over three years, and it takes place as we watch Harley grow up from age 19 to 22, until her graduation. It was the best part of the story. Very angysty and hot and sexy and it was just awesome.

The third part is Harley graduates, and she has some really big decisions to make about what she wants to do when she graduates and also what she wants in relation to Chase.

This was a fantastic story, and I am waiting for the second part. I adored and loved Chase so much, he is a wonderful character in this book and Harley and him are just perfect together.

Disclaimer: I received this book at no cost from the publisher/author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I am leaving a voluntary review and all opinions are my own.

The Wright series is so addicting! This is a forbidden romance that really ticks off all the boxes.

K.A. Linde has a powerful writing style that really grabs you from the start. All of her books that I have read have been un-put-down-able. The plot of the book is carefully crafted to make you want more.

This author is great with characterization. She always creates compelling and complex characters and this book is a great example of that. The characters are so relatable and distinct in their creation. Each character stands out. I loved the family aspects of the story. I am a sucker for a good family saga.

I loved the forbidden aspect of the romance. It was so tantalizing. These two could not stay away from one another at all. They had explosive chemistry that was so genuine. There was a lot of family drama involved in this book and it was all executed perfectly to keep you wanting more of this couple.

Overall, this was a brilliant age-gap romance that really delivered. If you love an angsty romance with Romeo and Juliet vibes then this is going to be right up your alley. This book has memorable characters, fantastic writing, and a storyline that will keep you locked in. I am so eager for the next book!

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the seventh book in the series and to get all the goodness you really need to start from the very beginning – as this book covers events from different perspectives which have already happened, and it was so rich to glimpse reminders of big things for other couples from a new line of sight. We also finally get to understand more of Hayley's thinking over that time.

There is nothing to dislike in this sexy waiting game, impossible to resist romance, which has been happening throughout Hayley's undergraduate studies. She and Chase had an instant connection, but he wanted her to have the chance to make her own life rather than being subsumed into his. There is only good in that intention, but it is a difficult one to stomach... for both of them really. I love that we get to see them slip up every now and again and yet they cannot possibly let go entirely.

It is fast-paced and full of fun, so whilst time is passing, we still get plenty of passion and hope for a true happily ever after. We are given somewhat of a cliffhanger, which means I am already in need of the next book, NOW!

In Lubbock, Texas, Chase Sinclair is the enemy by virtue of his last name, all caused by his sister Ashleigh and his father. Both tried to sabotage Wright businesses, so Chase is hated by default. When Jordan and Annie got married, Chase assisted only because Annie guilted him into it. And once Harley Wright saw him, she was hooked.

I loved this forbidden love story, sorta like Romeo and Juliet, except nobody dies. Once Chase learns that Harley is so much younger, he does the right thing and stops them from getting involved. He feels she needs to enjoy college, party it up with her friends, with no obligations. It’s hard for him, offensive for her, and he sets up a goal: graduation.

I loved as the story develops, loved Harley and Chase. The chemistry is so potent, they can’t resist whenever they chance together. The author did such a great job of giving them sporadical encounters, keeping the flame burning hot, the yearning, the need, Chase’s doubts if they will make it, Harley’s rebellion, and above all, the fears of how the Wrights will react.

I felt for Chase because he was nothing like Ashleigh, who tried to sabotage Julian’s winery more than once, nor his father and his dubious schemes. He was a decent fellow and his love for Harley was deep and true. Harley is super intelligent, a spitfire who is incredibly brilliant and knows where she wants to go in life, and one of those goals is being with Chase.

The book ends in a cliffhanger, so now we get to wait for the real fight for their relation. Meanwhile, I will re-read all those yummy steamy scenes, their banter, their serious moments where they shared their souls, the bittersweet yearning for someone you love but need to be apart from. It was very romantic and steamy and delicious!

Harley Wright is moving to go to college in Texas and be by her family even if it means moving away from her Mom and friends in Seattle. She is starting a brand-new life and what better way than to have a night with a stranger after her brothers wedding until the stranger finds out who she is calls it off ….
Chase Sinclair is not well liked by the Wright Family BUT it isn’t him they really don’t care for it is his FATHER but if you have the same last name, you are associated in there eyes BUT his eyes are sole and only looking at Harley Wright !!

These two don’t make sense .. age gap, college, hiding from family BUT we all know what the heart wants the heart needs and should get except Chase wants Harley to experience college life and to find out what she wants out of life before she or he commits to each other. He is smart, knowledgeable and so, so loving so why would Harley’s brothers have a problem with Chase ?? Hmmmmm …. He gives her the 4 years and just sits on the way side and waits and waits BUT will he or will she wait the 4 years until they can be together ??

I NEVER would have thought anything less .. These two were meant to be together BUT living at college and abroad and being 10 years older …. Chase wants her to make sure she is ALL in because he is ALL and because FAMILY means ALL to her !!

Can they make this work if the family finds out or will there LOVE for each other after 4 years be strong enough to serve the FAMILY ?? And did I happen to mention .. CLIFFHANGER because yeah I found my self yelling at 2 in the morning .. NOOOOOOO !! Is it May yet ??

“Love wasn’t fair. It didn’t care that we were complicated. It simply existed wholly and completely.”

Wright Kind Of Trouble was another addictive read in the Wright series. Chase and Harley’s forbidden love story is full of longing and angst and gives Romeo and Juliet vibes. These two have a chance meeting at a wedding and from the moment their eyes connect, a bond is formed and a secret relationship is born. Through many tension filled years, the pull between them never diminishes and only grows stronger, but with so many obstacles in their way, will it survive their age difference and their families’ hatred for each other? Will it ever be their time?

“She was like a drug that I wasn’t sure I would ever get enough of.”

Hayley was so mature for her age. I loved her free spirit and determination to accomplish her goals. She’s full of life and fire. Chase is dreamy. He understands Harley and pushes her to live for herself. He’s unselfish in his desire to let her grow and blossom.

“What we had was real. It is real.”

The passionate push and pull relationship between these two was scorching. I loved how they supported one another and the electricity between them only added to the depth of their connection. Full of delicious angst, heartbreaking emotion, and so much yearning, Wright Kind Of Trouble was a captivating read that has me eagerly awaiting the conclusion to Chase and Hayley’s compelling story.

The chemistry and connection between these two is fire! “Wright Kind of Trouble” is a steamy, flirty and heartfelt enemies to lovers age gap romance that has me counting down the days until the next book.

The Wrights and Sinclair do not get along. And when Chase Sinclair goes to his ex’s wedding, he’s not in the best headspace. But when he sees a gorgeous woman from across the room, he’s powerless. Harley is there for her brother’s wedding and notices Chase too. They spend the night together but next morning, they figure out who each other is. And the ten year age gap between them is released. Chase refuses to get in her way of having the time of her life in college but vows to wait for her until graduation. And over the next four years, the two are in and out of each other's lives and the chemistry between them grows even more.

I loved how these two met and didn’t know who each other was. With the age gap and how their families are feuding, them not knowing each other makes sense. I loved the teasing they did at the wedding and when they went home together. The chemistry was apparent from the start and only grew over the years. Chase insisting that Harley have the true college experience showed how selfless he was. It showed right from the beginning how much he cared for her. The story is layered and flows perfectly as the two go through their lives over the four years. The angsty feeling throughout the story had me turning the pages to see what would have happen with them next. Their story is a duet and I cannot wait to read the conclusion of their love story.

Wright Kind of Trouble is a fantastic first half to a duet. Usually I get frustrated with duets - they can feel drawn out and I often feel like it easily could have worked as one standalone instead of two separate books. NOT HERE at all. I can't see any other way this story could have been written without rushing through something or not giving us all the details. This also hooked me right from the start and I really couldn't put it down until I hit the end.

Harley is only a freshman in college when she meets Chase at her brothers wedding. Chase is ten years older than her, but when they hook up at the wedding he know she is younger, but assumes she is older than she really is and realizes that it wouldn't be fair to her to be in a relationship when she is really that young. Complicating matters is the fact that his family is an enemy of hers because of things his father has done in the past. I loved how this books starts from the time they meet and covers all their interactions along the way. Most of our time with either of them on page is when they are physically together, which is something I love.

I really love the authors choices in telling the first half of their story. This could have started later with only references to their first meetings or in past tense scenes, but I so much prefer the choices made here. It ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger with everything she fears most about her brothers learning about how she feels about Chase, and I'm going to be desperately awaiting the rest of the story!

We enjoyed Nash and Harley's story as the couple had beautiful chemistry and an instant connection they were so hot together.

Loved them as a couple even if they were fighting about what they felt for one another. Found the cloak & dagger and sneaking around stuff fun. Seeing two people meet and you instantly know they were meant to be yet their path to happiness is filled with nothing but land mines going forward for them.

Loved the characters they were great loved Nash from the moment we met him and although what he did to create some of those land mines was a bit heartbreaking you understood his concerns even if you might not agree. Harley, on the other hand, was a breath of fresh air and was a tells-it-like-it-is kind of girl, strong, compassionate, and feisty loved that about her the most.

Loved the ending it was just wow! Not a fan of cliffhangers but, going in we already knew this was going to be a duet, and happy to say we won't have to wait long for the conclusion.

We loved it as the characters are great the main characters are loveable. The story was full of drama, full of pain, sorrow, regret, longing, and heartbreak but, it was their story. Let's not forget the complications of who Nash and Harley's families are thrown into the mix it all was just the added spice that that made the story all the more intriguing. Can't wait to see how things end...

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the seventh book in the series - and to get all the goodness you really need to start from the very beginning - as this book covers events from different perspectives which have already happened, and it was so rich to glimpse reminders of big things for other couples from a new line of sight.

There is only good in that intention, but it is a difficult one to stomach ... for both of them really. I love that we get to see them slip up every now and again and yet they cannot possibly let go entirely.

It is fast paced, and full of fun, so whilst time is passing we still get plenty of passion and hope for a true HEA. We are given somewhat of a cliffhanger, which means I am already in need of the next book, NOW!

“The little sister of my enemy. I should walk away right now. Walk away and never look back. Because Jordan would kill me if he knew I was into his sister. And yet I couldn’t find it in me to care. A slow smile came to my face. I shouldn’t. But oh, I was going to do it anyway.”

Wright Kind of Trouble | K.A. Linde | Wright Vineyard #7

Review: 5 ⭐️, 3.5 🌶️

“Wanting him was wrong. Needing him was worse. Having him was the hardest of all.”

Read this if you love: brother’s enemy | age gap | rival families | angst | forbidden love | romeo & juliet | enemies to lovers | spicy | mouthy heroine | small town romance

“I wondered how we’d gotten to this moment. And how long it was going to last.”

This book is just part of Harley and Chase’s story. I do not know how I’m going to wait until April for the rest. However, I know I’m going to love it because I love this couple. The first part of their story starts with instant attraction and just as suddenly it comes to him saying he’ll wait for her to graduate. The angsty part of the story is the entire middle and you want so much for them as a couple, but I also fell in love with them as individual people. It ends on a sorta cliffhanger, but thankfully it wasn’t one that had me screaming in agony. It just left me wanting more (in a good way).

Thank you @authorkalinde and @wildfiremarketingsolutions for the eARC. I received a free copy for an honest review.

Boy we have come so far from book 1 in the Wright saga. We have Harley finally at last and does she have a story to tell. Then we have Chase Sinclair in a way the villain of the book yet so much more. Two people who should never even be talking least of all having hot, passionate nights but K.A. Linde doesn't stop there. I loved that though they are ages apart they have tons in common not just in music but in a sense of well finding their own identity so to speak. Chase is a man trying to be something for himself and not be associated to a man who has hurt the Wright family. Then we have Harley who has always been told what to do, act and where to go with her education never really being well Harley. Loved that even though she knows beigh with a Sinclair can lead to nothing but trouble she listens to the main thing in her life, her heart. Now these are two families that have well fought all the time but the love these two have is definitely being tested. This is the first in a duet that will make you swoon, gasp and more than intrigued to see what K.A. Linde will do to keep them together. Cannot wait to see how far Chase and Harley will go to keep their love growing?
